Description of Work: They did an external paint job on my house. |At first, I thought it was a great deal. The more I looked at it after the purchase, I thought that it was a very expensive job. |The painters were great. |The communication was terrible. |It was about 6 months after I had purchased the deal that they had finally contacted me. The owner had nickel and dimed me to death about the final payment that was owed to him.

Description of Work: The Angie's list deal was for half off installation of windows for up to 8 windows. | |I purchased the deal around Oct 5th, 2014. A representative came out to provide me with a window estimate. The window cost for each was apprx $576, this prices was inclusive of the half off which means that each window replacement would be over apprx $1000 had I not purchased the deal. . This didn't sound right to me, and seemed very expensive. I decided to just have one window replaced since I had already paid $250 for the "deal". |The sales representative took window measurements and informed me that it would take apprx 3 weeks to order and come in for us to schedule the work. By November, I didn't hear anything so I contacted the sales rep and Jarred Green, the president and CEO of the company. He stated that his team has tried to contact me with no luck. This is not true, I never received an email through Angie's list, not through my personal email nor did I receive any contact through phone. I received another visit in late December to have measurement taken a second time. After many back and forth emails, I was finally able to convince them to provide me with a solid date to install the window. I felt jerked around each time I contacted the company, it was a lot of effort and frustration on my part but they finally installed the window on Jan 19th. |Throughout the 3 months I spent waiting to complete this project; the CEO was neither friendly nor apologetic for the poor customer service I received. This is not a company I would recommend to family or friends. |] |

Description of Work: I hired Approved Contractor to paint the exterior of my house. The owner was pleasant, personable, and very responsive. Overall, I am pretty happy with the job they did. I am very happy with the quality of the paint job. My house looks so much better. Let's talk about the hiccups. |1. One of the initial steps in the housepainting process was to remove all of the old paint, pressure washing. Instead of taking the time to put a piece of plastic or other covering over my landscaping they just washed off all the paint onto my plants. Chips of paint were everywhere. I spoke to the owner who sent over 2 guys to clean it up, but their performance was mediocre. The only reason I did not make a big stink about this is I intend to redo my landscaping soon. |2. We decided on colors, one for the body of the house, one for the trim, and an accent color. We discussed to what parts of the house the accent color would be applied. When the painters told me the job was done and they were ready to do the final inspection, the accent color had only been added to the side door, visible to no one. This was probably a miscommunication between the owner and the painters. The problem was solved pretty quickly. |3. The threshholds to the house. Apparently, the price I paid only included the threshholds in certain circumstances (If the threshholds are wood and stained-no. If metal-no. If wood and previously painted-yes). My threshholds (2 of them) are wood and stained so they were not included. There is a stark contrast between how they look (old and worn) and the rest of the house (new and vibrant). Perhaps in the future, threshholds should be discussed up front. They are not something I would have thought about discussing in advance. I rely on the expert to cover everything. I feel like they should have been included. Overall, I will give Approved Contractors an A-/B+.

Description of Work: They replaced the facia boards that needed it. The prep work was done as stated in their contract (excellent). They patched or repaired damaged stucco and the texture coating was done professionally. The cleanup was complete and through. |The entire crew was professional and responsive to questions. They were to repair a patio cover, but is was so far gone, they replaced it within quote. |The neighbors have given nothing but excellent comments on the finished project.

Description of Work: They installed 7 new windows in my home. I had a couple quotes from other company's around 5000 so I was extremely happy with the price and the product.

Description of Work: Permanent coat (paint) exterior of my home. Trenched all around the property to expose base of wall, power washed, removed loose stucco and reapplied new stucco and texture to match, Primed and then multiple coats of perma-tex paint. | |Outcome: EXCELLENT! 5 GOLD stars, or +10 on the 1-10 scale. | |Every one of my questions/concerns were addressed. Justin and Jesus kept me informed every step of the way in the project. Jesus' team went the extra mile and removed stuck fixtures and repaired areas really outside of the scope of the job, (but not in my line of expertise or ability). The house looks better than the day we took possession in 1995, and it has been painted by "others" many times. I LOOK FORWARD to NEVER PAINTING AGAIN! Description of Work: Replaced windows. New windows look and work well. Very reasonable prices. Our contractor could not believe the prices we got on these windows.

Description of Work: Fixed rotted wood. Applied paint to all exterior surfaces. Was on time and with minimum fuss

Description of Work: they installed two replacement vinyl dual pane side-sliding bedroom windows, one was about 50x96 the other about 50x72. They were as efficient as it gets, and the price was right. So far I like the windows - although I guess I did expect them to insulate a little better against heat (one window gets direct sun most of the day, and it IS warm to the touch... but maybe this is unavoidable. It is still much better than the rattly single panes we had before.) The contractors were extremely easy to work with, very articulate, get to the point quickly, they answer all questions, make you feel like you fully understand what you are getting and yet they don't waste any time. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: Justin and Jesus are the best! We scheduled, they were prompt, efficient, and very professional. Jesus and his crew prepped my home and did an excellent job. Then they did the paint! Oh, my goodness.. my home looks like new! Overall, the job was A+I can't say enough good about Approved Contractor! Hire them! You too will be happy as I am today.

Description of Work: Crew did not show up the day they were supposed to start the job. Stucco repair and painting of the house was done well, but their trim painting of the doors and siding was sloppy. I will not use them again.

Description of Work: Jared and Bryan visited us at our residence to give us the complete estimate. They were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the total amount was much higher than we expected, so we decided to not sign up for their service.

Description of Work: A little confusion as to what was included - Paint and square footage calculation. Justin from Approved Contractor Inc. was very courteous and helpful. Just a not what I estimated total cost would be.

Description of Work: Approved Contractor Inc. painted the exterior of my house, and it looks great. They were prompt, efficient, professional and caring. They paid attention to my questions and requests and were willing to offer their expertise when I needed it. Their work is outstanding.

Description of Work: They did everything that was discussed in the contract meeting. After the project got started,everything went like clock work.

Description of Work: Once I bought the deal they never contacted me had to keep calling to get them to call back. After that they kept putting off the date to come out and look at project. They took very long time to reply back. Very frustrating dealing with this co.

Description of Work: I was disappointed that they didn't service our area, even though the offer stated it was good in San Bernardino County area. It's a BIG county so I understand.
