Description of Work: too expensive!! they rope you in for 600 dollars when in actuality the real price is 20-40K for the jobs they do...the $600 is only for a few feet of a paint job.

Customer did not want work performed as indicated in the Big Deal she purchased. Rather customer wanted the Santa Barbara smooth finish which is much more expensive. Also, home was over 5000 square feet more than the parameters of the deal. Lastly, no work was performed at this home.

Description of Work: Replaced an old, non-insulated sliding glass door. I purchased a "Big Deal" for $894 but decided to upgrade certain features for an additional $491. In the long run, I think it was worth it. This is a REALLY nice patio door and it looks amazing. The guys that came to do the installation were fast, efficient, and super clean. If I need to replace any other future windows, I will definitely use this vendor again.

Description of Work: They repaired about 50 sq. ft. of damaged stucco. The painted a one story triplex. they replaced 3 exterior doors. they partially re-glazed about 8 windows. We were told that the project would take 3 or 4 days. it took about 7 days. It took 2 days to clear the extensive punch list of deficiencies. Our contract stipulated that any change to the contract must be scoped and priced in writing and signed by all parties. We made a written request that 3 doors and their screens be painted. We also requested that 3 small 3"x8"x12" mail boxes be painted. The owner replied that he would provide the pricing for the work on the requested items. He never did, and on the last day of scheduled work, he had the items painted without consulting us. The after we presented him with the items that had not been done correctly ; he billed us $975.00 for painting the doors. The work on the doors could not have taken more than 6 hours since they were done on the last day after lunch. The doors were painted in the closed position, and were not properly sanded. The screen doors were removed and painted, but were improperly reinstalled with a broken handle on one screen door , and another screen door that would not close because it was improperly hung. All of the screen door hinges were missing multiple screws. |The job was poorly scheduled, and poorly supervised.

Please note the scope of work included premium acrylic paint to 4000 square feet of walls, replacement 80 lineal feet of fascia board, painting 3 existing doors, installing 3 new doors, painting 3 screen doors, painting 3 mailboxes, painting 2 gates and painting 15 window frames. The job was completed within the time frame as indicated on the contract. Contract indicates job would take to 5 to 7 working days to complete.
