Jared came out and went through all the details very carefully!! Our minds were much relieved after meeting him and seeing how professional he was. His worker came and measured the windows and when they were ordered custom made and ready, two workers came and installed them. The workers arrived even before they were scheduled. They were done by 4pm that day. It would have been good to have known that we needed to move all the furniture before they came. I was gone all day and only my husband here. We are thrilled with the result. Our AC comes on less already! Looking forward to decreased cooling and heating bills from now on! I highly recommend this company. They were excellent!

His workers arrived as promised and worked and completed job in a timely manner. They forgot to return and pull their sign from the yard (small thing). On the text coating, I was supposed to receive a certficate from the product manufacturer but did not, and still would like to. Otherwise no complaints.

Everything went as planned and according to budget. I would use them again.

Jared arrived promptly and professionally assessed the windows. We discussed details and price without taking all day to do it. We scheduled a time for installation. Installation went very smoothly. The crew showed up on time. They were efficient, and they finished ahead of schedule. They cleaned up after themselves, and that was that. The windows are great. Since we don't have AC, it's a must that our windows can open and provide some relief from the heat. The house is 10 degrees cooler with the proper air flow coming through. We love it.

The workers took out the old windows and installed the new ones. They were on time, worked quietly and performed their work well. They followed our requests and finished the installation in one day. The supervising one of the 2 workers was very polite and cooperative. We love the new windows. We would recommend them to others.

I am very satisfied with the price and quality of the product.

Approved Contractors were professional, efficient and reliable. Jared, the owner, delivers on his word. He really knows about paint and paint quality and is very professional. It's refreshing to see someone who takes his job seriously and is willing to discuss all the details of the job with a client. He was patient with us and explained the entire process and how long it would take. He delivers a quality product, so you have to understand that it will cost a little bit more than the average joe painter but the prices were absolutely fair for what we received. I could probably have found cheaper paint, however, it would look bad, it would be applied improperly, and wouldn't last. My house is my biggest investment, so why cheap out on maintaining my investment by using an inferior product, thereby decreasing its value. On the day of the job, his painters showed up right ON TIME! They were even at our house a little early to prep. It took them exactly as long as Jared had estimated and they cleaned up everything after they were done. The house looks amazing. We couldn't be happier with our choice of Jared and Approved Contractors. We feel confident that we received a quality product that will last us a LONG time. Thank you Jared!!

I am very happy with the end result! My first impression was formed when Jared arrived to give me a bid to paint the exterior of my home with a lifetime exterior coating. I had seen the coupon on Angie's List and wanted to have a bid on the total project before I purchased the coupon. While the floor plan of my house is approx. 1500 sq. ft., I knew that the exterior wall space was much more than that. Jared was very thorough in explaining the process and provided me with copies of the contractors license and certificate of liability insurance without my asking for them. I did not want to start the project right away, and Jared was very flexible about scheduling my project. The entire project went very well. The crew was hard working, friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns I raised. The project consisted of the normal uproar one should expect when having your house painted. Windows and doors were covered, some plants got broken, overspray and drips appeared in unwanted locations. All it took was a phone call to Jared and a team was out to fix any issues and concerns that I had. I have not hesitated to recommend Approved Contractors and Jared Green to my friends and neighbors.

Painters lost some items and broke a light also took security door that we didnt want but we did want the door knob and locks that was attached to the door we told them that and they lied about taking the door next day the door knob and locks were returned to us called Jared the owner and told him what happen and the cost to replace the items that were broken and he sent us a check for what we had to replace

We called several window companies but hired Approved Contractors because of Jared's responsiveness and professionalism . He responded immediately to our inquiries and came out to look at our house and what we needed done within a very short time. His suggestions and opinions were honest and he even talked us out of replacing our beautiful old hand crafted windows ( what were we thinking?) Work was completed to our satisfaction within the time frame he'd promised and we are very pleased with the service we received. Will definitely recommend Approved Contractors and will use then again if ever the need arises!

We purchased a big deal for the service, and he did a good job. He had to come out a second time, because he didn't finish the job the first time. The price was acceptable, it wasn't the greatest, but he was good about his punctuality.

The work was to begin on July 22, 2013 and be finished on Friday the 26th. On July 22, I waited until about 10am and then called Jared to ask him where the crew was. He said that he had thought it was the 23rd and I pointed out that it stated the 22nd very clearly on the contract. He told me that the crew would be out the next day. On the 23rd and 24th, the crew showed up about 10-10:30am. On Wednesday the 24th, they asked us if we wanted rough or smooth texture. We told them rough and then they said that they would not be able to begin the work because the supplies had to be ordered to do the rough texture. On the two days they were there, they had begun the prep work by power washing the house and repairing the existing stucco and wrapping doors and windows with plastic. Wednesday we had an appointment so we had to ask them to let us out. Friday, I left a message with Jared that we were not happy with the crews showing up so late and the disorganization of our job and what seems to be the company. One of the crewman came to speak to us, rather than Jared calling us back, and it seemed as though he was begging us to call Jared and tell him that it was not the workmanship we were dissatisfied with, that it was the scheduling and lack of supplies - the crewman seemed very frantic, begging us to call Jared. They went ahead and applied the undercoat to the side of house, when doing so they shot through the vent into our garage and thankfully missed the car and tires, but my husband did have to spend time cleaning the product off of the floor. They finished the work the next Wednesday the 31st around 5pm and my husband went outside when they left and worked from 5pm to 9pm cleaning up after the crew - someone had stepped on our security sign, we had to repair a sprinkler, clean up broken branches from the crew, he also spent the next day working around the home repairing multiple other things. Overall, we feel very deceived by Jared. He was very professional in the signing of the contract, but since the beginning of the job, we have never heard from him again. He never came out to check on the job and he has never called us.

The owner visited us and spent time explaining what would be done and why. He also gave us a copy of his contractor's license and insurance. The crew was polite, punctual and repainted the garage door when it wasn't the color we had requested. Paint in the two colors used on our home was left for touch up. The crew was careful when walking on the roof and stated that no tiles were broken, even when I told them that I expected a few to be broken. The owner called the day after the job was done and asked if we were 100% happy. WE ARE!

Jared and his workers were great! Jared came to our house for an estimate and was professional and very knowledgeable about windows and the paint we wanted. He went through all the different options of windows available to us and explained in detail the pros and cons, if any, for each. We knew we wanted Lifetime Exterior Coating for our paint, but he still went over the other paint options with us, including less expensive ones. We never felt pressured which was something we had experienced with others. We decided to go with Approved Contractors mostly because we felt the job would be done on time and correctly. While Approved Contractors was not the least expensive, Jared WAS the most professional. We are glad we made the choice. The workers showed up on time everyday and finished when they said they would. It was very hot during the time they were working on our home, but they still completed everything on schedule. The crew was respectful, responsive, and extremely friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and were very mindful of the fact that it wasn't just a job site, but our home. In addition, Jared was always just a phone call or email away. We had to make a change on one of the windows and Jared stayed on the phone with me to give me two different quotes (choices) so I could make the decision that worked best with our budget. He came out to make sure everything was going well and to answer any questions we had. When we're ready to replace our remaining windows we wilI definitely use Approved Contractors again!!

It went well for the most part, The team of painters work together or so it seemed quite a bit. They were a mexican team and seemed pretty friendly, experienced and professional to a point. The only thing that they could of done better would be to realize that the area around my home is not there garbage can. Leaving there water bottles in my planters, they could of been a bit more concerned with where they set there paint can's, and cleaning up the paint they accidently put on things like the concrete, the brick, windows, door handles. I have to say I really like the work they did. If these guys are not able to clean up there mess or pay attention to not creating it it would be good for them to include a cleaning team to come in and deal with the painting teams over site. I don't feel that I have to or should be the one to tell them hey you have over spray here or drops of paint there. They have eyes, they are adults, they are professional. I realize that some men are just not cleaners, nor will they ever be. So unless the painting contracter boss get's on them about it they never will be. So that is some thing that they should work on it will effect there business. I also realize they are limited on where to wash there brushes etc. My front lawn is not the place to do that, the back maybe but having paint on my lawn is not something I really liked to see when I have a manicured lawn that I spend quite a bit of time at making it nice and I realize the paint will grow out and be cut off by the lawn mower it's just not professional. There needs to be another way for them to deal with this part of the job. The mexican to english translation is always confusing at some point. I felt at the end of the day there should of been some one to come to the door and say we are finished for the day, we will be back tomorrow at 9am and we are doing this bla bla bla.. They would leave say nothing and I didn't know when they were going to be here because one day it was 9am and the next it was 7:45am they were ringing my door bell it was a bit irritating in the way of communication. Other than that it was alright. MK

We sought out the expertise of Approved Contractor Inc. because we were looking to have our house painted with a durable texture coating product that would last longer than the typical exterior paint we?ve had in the past. Our house is a combination of both wood and stucco. We had several areas of water damage and unsightly termite damage. Jared Green, the owner of Approved Contractor was truly great to work with. He inspected the entire house, pointing out various issues and gave us a detailed explanation for everything it needed in order to restore the damage caused by termites and water, as well as the normal wear and tear on the house. He came across as knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with similar situations. Jared provided excellent customer service by staying in contact with us and making himself available via both telephone and email, even when he was out of town. Jared has an extensive team of very talented workers with different skill sets. They were both skilled and pleasant to work with, polite, friendly, fun and easy going. They were all quite flexible and quick to make adjustments even when we made last minute changes. And seeing how beautiful the house looked caused us to rethink some of the original plans and extend their services. They were quite accommodating. Ishmael, an excellent project manager, was the foreman on our team. The prep work in our house was extensive. Parts of our house that appeared to be in good shape were not. The power washing, stripping, sanding, patching, replacing, and smoothing and primingwork that they performed was more detailed than we expected. They sealed seams between the wooden slats on our house that had previously only been painted over. They replaced boards, moldings and doors. Initially we were perplexed as to why there seemed to be different people on the job each day, until we saw that Ishmael had matched each person?s skill set with the tasks that were required for the job. In addition to all of the many repairs that he did, Jose, the lead on the job, applied the final product with such expertise that the finish was noticeably smooth and beautiful, generating many comments from people passing by. The entire working crew worked with integrity and took great pride in their work. As a result their workmanship was excellent. They were prompt, meticulous in going the extra mile to cover areas that needed to be protected (even neighbors cars on the street) and they paid attention to detail. Best of all they cleaned up well. The finished house is beautiful. We highly recommend their services. We?ve gotten many, many compliments. We cannot say enough good things about Approved Contractor Inc.

It turned out fabulous. They were wonderful, everything about them was wonderful.

They were very thorough with the preparation including sanding and patching.our old wood siding. The project manager, Jesus, was responsive and knowledgeable. The house looks great. The project manager who prepared and sold the contract was very conscientious and stayed in contact with us to oversee the work.

Jared and his crew did a terrific job! The prep work was amazing -- they replaced broken/rotted stucco and wood as well as thoroughly prepping for painting. They even came on Sunday to finish up. Everything looks great!

The work was done as promised, when promised and met all of our expectations. Prep work was very thorough and all areas that required extended scraping were handled well. The team was always on time and worked very full days to complete the overall prep and exterior coating project in one week, as originally promised. Communication was excellent. We always knew what was being done and when the crew would return to continue their work.

Jared Green (the owner), and his team of Jose and Bri, are the best! Jared was prompt and professional when he came to give me an estimate. He was also extremely warm and friendly. He immediately followed up with an email detailing what we talked about. He was quick and meticulous answering my questions, whether by email or phone. He even answered my questions while he was on vacation with his family. The day of the installation, his crew showed up exactly on time. They arrived at 8:30 and were out by 2pm. They were quick, efficient, and when done, very clean. They picked up everything. They were also very forthcoming with answering questions. The house is almost 60 years old and had all the original windows. I've never bought windows before and I've heard horror stories about contractors. But, I cannot say enough good things about Jared. I've brought friend in to see the windows and they are stunned by the transformation of the house. I have recommended him to everyone. The windows are beautiful. They glide smoothly. They lock. And the framework that is pre-primed, which was put around the patio windows and door (inside and out) is extremely attractive. (Not to mention, perfect.) Working with Jared is like working with an old friend. After a few minutes of talking to him, you feel like you've known him forever. He's also honest and very straight forward. If you're about to do something you shouldn't--he'll tell you, even if it costs him money or the sale. You will not do better with anyone else, I promise you.

The project was completed exactly as it was promised. Approved Contractors worked very cooperatively with us to find a time to come out and measure for the custom sized windows and patio door. The custom vinyl windows and patio door arrived when promised and the installation came off without any problems. They were on-time for both appointments and finished the installation in less time than originally promised. They kept everything very clean and after they left, the only evidence that they had ever been there was the perfectly installed windows and door! Would recommend Jared and his team to everyone. Communication with Jared and his team was frequent and always very professional.

I can recommend Approved Contractor without reservation. Jared came by and gave us a very thorough estimate. He measured meticulously, and discussed our options regarding the different materials, and what different parts of our job would cost. Once we decided to use the firm, we set a date for the job to begin, and the team of painters descended on our house on time. They worked long days, and were very careful about keeping our property clean. They cleaned up as much as possible at the end of each day, and they even put plastic on cars out on the street when they were painting the front of the house. Jared was excellent about keeping us posted. He sent emails about the progress of the job, and he even told us when the crew would be late because they were picking up supplies. Approved Contractor finished our job ahead of schedule. Jared came back to walk through the property with us, and he spotted some touch-ups that we missed. Overall there were very few touch-ups, and they scheduled those, showed up on time, and completed everything as promised. Our house looks beautiful, and we are very pleased with the workmanship. We did have a little trouble keeping our gates closed to prevent our dog from escaping. Very occasionally we had some modest difficulty communicating with the painters. Still, the overall experience was very positive, and our house looks beautiful. Had we known that coating our home would make us feel so much better about our home, we probably would have done it years ago. Jared was honest, true to his word, approachable, and easy to work with. He and his team made sure that we were happy. They did a great job, and I would definitely work with them again. If you are considering an exterior coating, you should absolutely consider Approved Contractor, and Jared Green!
