This turned out ok. They pressure washed the house. They patched any old stucco that came off, but it was not a complete re-stucco. I asked for certain things to be painted, but one of the guys tried to talk me into painting the eaves of my house the same as my house, but I didn?t want them to. They told me they would take down the cables wires and put them back up for me, but when I looked at it when they were done, they didn?t do the cables correctly and I had them re-do it. I never saw the general contractor as he only stopped by once when I couldn?t get to the door. I was not impressed with the deal or the work. The work passed, but I wouldn?t use them again.

They arrived on schedule and covered the windows and doors to protect them. Dug the earth away from the walls, where possible. They repaired the stucco where it was necessary to do so, then cemented the walls to smooth them and make them even. Replaced wood in two places on the garage - on the side of the garage door and the fascia on one side, then primed and painted the fascia on both the house and garage. They painted the house, garage and garage door with the color selected, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. The house looks new and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Everything went smoothly. They came out one week to take measurements, and came back three weeks later to install them. Seemed strange that we had to get custom windows for what I'm pretty sure is a standard size. But they do seem to fit better than the ones we got at HD.

I communicated to contractor up front we lived in a mobile home, but he says he didn't know that. It was difficult to get him to respond to my questions and requests to schedule them to come out. He told me to measure the window then he would give me a price -- After I bought the window for $249! I thought I would be able to trust the service providers on your site. I will no longer purchase anything.

We are so impressed by the work that was completed on our home. The entire process was a positive experience, and we could not be more thrilled with the end product. This was quite an undertaking for us, as we had not had work done on the exterior of our home before, so we were a little nervous about hiring someone. Prior to hiring a company, we spoke with many contractors from Angie’s list and had them give us estimates. Though Apporved Contractor's estimate was not necessarily the lowest, it was certainly competitive. What gave their company the edge was the time Justin took in explaining everything, and the confidence he instilled in us that he would be actively involved in ensuring the project was completed to our level of expectation. After selecting Approved Contractors, Justin drove up from San Diego so he could introduce us to Jesus, the person overseeing our job on a daily basis. Justin assured us that he would monitor the project, but that Jesus would be our first point of contact since he would be on site. This made us a little nervous, but two days into the four-week project, we realized we were in good hands. Jesus was very patient with our many questions, our difficulty in selecting paint colors, and the change orders we requested. Jesus was available to give us guidance with colors, trim, light fixtures, and such. Jesus is dedicated to ensuring the customer is satisfied. He and his crew worked long hours to complete the project within the estimated completion time, however, they never sacrificed quality for speed. Our house looks amazing, and you can see the attention to detail they put forth in each job they completed; from the support beams on the deck, to the replaced facia boards, to the Coraform trim, to the Lifetime Exterior Coating, to…the list could go on and on. All work was done well and we are very pleased. We are so thankful they provided us with quality service. Justin was true to his word, and continued to monitor the project through Jesus. He was available to us to discuss change orders and such, but we really only interacted with him to discuss the finances involved with the change orders. Jesus kept in constant communication with us, so we always knew what the next steps were. The crew that came out each day worked hard, and always cleaned up their work area at the end of each day, so things were never left in a hazardous or unsightly condition. This was truly a positive experience all around, and we are so appreciative that we had the wisdom to select Approved Contractors to do the work on the exterior of our home.

He did a fair job on the windows. We asked him for follow up work. He agreed to give us pricing for it but never got back to us. It was clear he felt he was offering a huge discount for what he felt was premium service but from my experience, the deal and the service were all par for the market.

The service went okay. The only think I am waiting for is the rebate. Everything else with the service has gone just fine. We had them install 9 new windows for our home. The technicians were nice, pleasant, efficient and clean. Two people came out for the service and they did a good job. I had no issues with scheduling.

My house is 1,048 sf inside and 1600 sf outside and the deal was for up to 1,500 sf for the deal of $2,499.00 with life time warranty which sounds really good, but I should have known better. They gave me a ten year warranty because the house was made of wood even though the wood is rather new. The bid came out to be $5,011.19 and there is very little repairs to be performed. I really feel they gave me a higher bid because they saw little profit on the job, don't blame them.

Deal was for wall square footage vs. house square footage so the price was higher than expected. The deal was also for a special elastomeric paint so the quoted price of ~$9000 was about 2x the price for conventional paint and I can't justify that price difference.

Overall, I was very happy with Approved Contractor's service. The price was great (thanks to Angies List). They had to let the workers leave site at around 5pm so towards the end I felt the work on the patio door was a bit rushed. But it has been a year and I haven't had any issues with the windows or patio door. The owner of Approved Contractor, Jared, was very nice and easy to talk to. I have referred him to my neighbors in the same complex.

I am not sure about the price, I could find someone less expensive maybe few hundred dollars less, but I may not have been as pleased. Hirmag

They were prompt in coming out to look at the project, but they basically doubled the cost of painting the house because they said painting the trim was not included. When you advertise exterior house painting, it sounds like you are going to paint the entire house - not exclude the trim. They should have stated that in their advertisement. I felt like it was a bait and switch situation.

This was a great experience overall. I found them on this site and placed a call. Jared was able to come over and discuss what I wanted and give an estimate the next day. He arrived on time and was very informative and helpful. I ordered, not only the two kitchen windows I had planned on, but I also decided to replace my sliding glass doors that are the access to my backyard. Once my order was ready, Jared e-mailed me and we set up the date/time for the installation. His two guys arrived promptly at 8:30 and began. It took a only a few hours for them to remove the existing windows & doors, install the new ones, and haul away everything. I would highly recommend Approved Contractor and I will definitely call them when I'm ready to replace more windows.

I feel as though they wanted more for the job so randomly selected something to charge to bring the cost to more than double the ad. The representative that came to the house was polite but it all felt deceptive. He argued that he measured the windows and doors as part of the painted surface area to account for the amount of work required to prep the surrounding area for paint but then added additional cost for those sections as well arguing the same which would amount to double charging.

A representative from the company came to out house, measured, and then gave us an estimate. Everything was fine with that part of the experience-- he was polite, informative, professional, punctual. But the estimate ($10,000) was much more than we had budgeted for, so we decided not to go ahead with the project.

Very pleasant estimator was at my home from 3:00 to 5:30, at which time he informed me that the square footage of my home far exceeded the limit of the"big deal," but I could be credited the amount of the deal to a portion of the cost while the cost to me would actually be in excess of $7,000. FYI-the recorded footprint square footage is 1100sf, never enlarged.

Great, friendly communication from start to finish. Everything and everyone arrived on time as promised. The window is exactly what I ordered. This is a very reliable contractor. I will definitely use again when I want to add more new windows to my home. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Jared!

I needed a COMPANY that was EPA approved to provide lead-based paint abatement and repainting on a duplex built in 1928. Jared was very informative and helpful - but unable to perform the job as required. Although he does have an EPA certification, the company does not. I was very disappointed to NOT be able to use his services. I will definitely uses Approved Contractor's for any other painting work.

I thought the deal was very deceiving so I did not use it after all.

Installers were prompt and cleaned up well. Job seemed to go well however after first rain test, one of the kitchen windows had a leak. This was like5 - 6 months after the install. I sent Jared a text and he promptly responded and had a technician out the next day. The tech identified and fixed the problem.

The whole process was a breeze. Justin came to the house and was very pleasant and professional. He scheduled an appointment to have my windows measured and then ordered the windows. After about 3 - 4 weeks the windows were ready and installed within 3 days. The installation crew was also very nice and professional to deal with. They were highly proficient at replacing windows. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

I did not however hire him as there was a miscommunication on the services to be rendered. I only needed a couple small broken window panes repaired and his expertise was in replacing windows throughout an entire home. He was very nice about the misunderstanding and when I upgrade the windows in the home, I will reach back out.

I emailed the service provider a few times and we were unable to come an agreement for the cost of the new window. I always had to contact them to initiate the process. The window that I wanted replaced was not half off. I was disappointed with the entire thing.
