The company came out on time and were very professional. Unfortunately the deal was not as what I purchased , and due to the extreme extra cost, I decided to end the deal.

I really speak highly of them. I decided to go with them. They were very professional and on time. I have no complaints whatsoever up to now. They came and measured then they came and delivered. I will definitely use them again. I still have to do a sliding door and I will do it with them. August 27, 2015 I noticed a few weeks ago that the strips around the windows are coming loose, unglued. Immediately, I emailed Approved Contractor, Mr. Green since I had a long vacation and I was worry if rain would impact the windows. He wrote back that his crew will contact me within 72 hrs. OK! But after 72 hours and NOBODY contacted me, I wrote back to Mr. Green. He answered that by Tuesday, the 25/ Wed.the 26, the job will be done. I replied that Tuesday will be better for me since I had appointments on Wed. NOANSWER .Tuesday came and almost gone. So I panicked and called Angie's List who suggested to called the provider before a rewrite this review. I did called him twice and left message. Later in the evening, Mr. Green called me and told me that his crew will be on Wednesday and they will call me.. I told him that I will home after 1:00pm. NOBODY CONTACTED ME ON WEDNESDAY NOR THURSDAY!!! So now Angie's will have to intervene on this matter. And the windows are not repaired!!! I WILL NOT recommend this company whatsoever!!!

Received an email coupon from Angie's List that indicated this contractor was offering a special for exterior house painting. The special was $2500 for a complete exterior paint job for a home that is 1500 square feet. After already having some contractors come by my home to provide quotes, they all cautioned me because a price without actually seeing the home first is a simple "bait" tactic. I contacted Approved Contractor Inc. to ask the how they were able to come up with a price that is so aggressive without seeing the home first? I first got a voice mail that informed me that they would not return to work until January 12th due to the holidays. The voice mail went on to indicate that if I had further questions to contact the District Manager at the number given. I called the District Manager just to clarify the price and find out what the difference would be if my home was 2700 sq ft. with a side barn and a Rod Iron fence. He agreed that a visual quote would be necessary. I informed him that I would call back on January 12th when the contractor returned from vacation to schedule. He wanted to schedule the appointment for the contractor. At first I was reluctant because how would the district manager know what his schedule is if he was on vacation? Regardless I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday January 13th. The district manager cals me back 10 mins later telling me he talked to his guy and Tuesday would not work for him. (Strike #1). If the individual coming to my home can be reached by you (district manager) to confirm an appointment availability for a customer, then the middle man should be cut out and the contractor should call the customer directly to confirm an adequate time. This didn't happen (strike #2). The District Manager said, "how about Friday?" (Assuming the 9th of January). I agreed at 10 am. No show.....no call...I post a review explaining this and I receive a text message late at night asking me to take down my review from Angie's list (strike #3). The next morning I get two calls back to back from Approved Contractor to discuss appointment discrepancy. I am not interested in discussing further. A district manager should not be scheduling appointments for contractors if they don't know their schedules. If the first attempt is rejected by the contractor, any further attempts should be made by the individual coming. Secondly the coupon is a simple sales tactic to get into a customers front door. It says the price is 67% less than the regular price to paint the exterior of a 1500 sq ft. home. That would make the price normally $6700 dollars. As indicated, I have a 2700 sq ft. home and the highest quote I have received to date is $5850 without a coupon or specials offered doing more work than itemized on "Approved Contractors" Angie's List email coupon. Too many red flags, advertisement is very misleading with obnoxious numbers, and a general contractor should know if Friday is two days away then clarity is needed if they meant the following Friday for a quote appointment. Sorry but this review is honest and will stay. They might be great people, but the coupon, prices, and the experience as a whole tells me to walk in another direction.

The job started on the day Jared said it would and finished within the estimated time. After trenching near the house and hydro blasting, Jose and Minor prepared the wood surfaces by patching or replacing boards, some of which had rot damage, and performed extensive sanding to smooth the old wooden trim and siding. The old stucco was patched where cracked and re-stuccoed where missing. There was one initial priming, and then a texture-smoothing coat was applied so that the entire house and garage were all the same texture. Previously they were a mixture of about three textures. The trim was painted white and the house and garage were coated with a high end product in the color of my choice. The coating is guaranteed for life against peeling, chipping, flaking and cracking. The crew cleaned up every evening and on the last evening did the "final" cleanup. It was late in the day on a Friday and I walked around doing a quick assessment. I noticed an old wall air conditioner box on the side of the house had not been painted and then remembered I had asked Jared to only paint hardware that had previously been painted. The crew was almost ready to leave but I mentioned to Jose that I wished I had asked to have the air conditioner box painted. His quick response with (always) a smile was "what color, white?" He immediately got out the supplies and painted it. Some days later while working in the yard around the house I noticed there were many pieces of smaller debris from the hydro blasting scattered about and some very small areas where paint or primer had gotten on my natural wooden fence. I mentioned this to Jared shortly before the Thanksgiving holiday week and he offered to send someone over to take care of any remaining cleanup. He sent Jose the first Monday after Thanksgiving. Jose did a better job of cleaning up the debris than I thought was possible and removed the bits of paint on the fence. He took care of everything I asked him to address. I am completely pleased with the new appearance of my old house and have received numerous compliments from neighbors. The wooden and stucco surfaces look new. I wish it had cost just a little less but the quality of the work was superior. Everyone I had contact with in the company was professional and a pleasure to do business with.

Very accommodating to all my paint color changes; immediately fixed one small bubble; great people from sales to painter; Immediate response to questions.

We called them out and it was much more expensive than I thought.

We decided not to move forward with the project due to pricing. The owner was very cordial and polite and appeared very knowledgeable.

Contractor came out to give estimate and it was much more than we expected. People were very nice and informative, however. Getting a refund from Angie's List.

Jared is very professional with the estimate for waterblast and coating of stucco. A first class guy.

The project was more expensive than we anticipated. Therefore we did not use their services.

The company called the next day and communicated well. I am canceling because I have decided to complete another project first and I rethought my priorities.

First week, Jose came out on a Saturday to measure and give tips to style of windows. Very quick and sweet to work with. Approx 1.5 hours to measure the entire 1400 home with 16 windows. Only needed to replace 13. Order was placed and windows were ready on week 3. Windows installed right one time on week 4, first day of install all windows went up with appropriate seal and insulation around the windows. Second day of install was quality control and for second seal for the windows. Clean up was very well done, cannot notice any work was done at the house besides our lovely new windows. Which was great since we had light rain the night after with no issues! The home is well insulated, the double pane windows not only look great but keep the temperature and outside noise at a very comfortable level. We live less than 2 miles from a small muni airport. We're very pleased and would highly recommend Jose at anyone looking for a window install.

Attempted to contact approved contractor numerous times and multiple ways and times. Never got one return call or email. Where there's smoke there's fire, wouldn't recommend.

We met with Justin today for an estimate on our property. He stated that the Angie's List Voucher actually would not apply to much or any of the work our home required. We appreciated his on site estimate, however estimated the cost to be close to $10,000 dollars, over 3 times the amount of the voucher and this only covered 3/4 of the exterior walls of our home. He also stated that the estimate would most likely be more due to unforeseen circumstances that could arise during the job. To our dismay, we articulated to Justin that the fine print and description of "$2,999 for Complete House re-stucco or Repair with Materials Included" was beyond misleading and disappointing, given the outrageous estimate. We were aware wood repair would be additional but the cost were nearly double what we had been bid for a full job with the same labor and materials. After this experience we encouraged Justin to clarify the wording of the voucher so that other home buyers would not end up mislead and disappointed as we were. I would not refer Approved Contractor to anyone because of their high prices and misleading vouchers, and after this experience would not feel confident utilizing Angie's List as a reputable resource either.

I didnt end up using the deal because there were extra cost involved for the job I needed with my home.

SP said deal is wrong and when he came out to home he gave new price of 6000.

I bought a big deal with this company but when it came to scheduling the appointment they did not call me back or write me back and I could not get a hold of them.

Okay. Was slow to get started as they try to match paint we wanted.

Original start date 10-15-14 actual start 10-16-14. Contracted for 2-3 days, work took 6 days. During work our dog was boarded to avoid any issues with access. We originally contacted 2-3 days presumed possibly 4 did not plan on 6. Each additional day cost $40. Work was preformed several times without attention to detail. Clean up was sub standard, even to the point neighbor had to complain. Finally on day 6 work was performed to satisfaction. Clean up still not what we expected. Contract indicated the property would be left clean and beautiful.

It was great! From beginning to end. Jared came out, was super professional, and gave me a quote right then and there. His price was very fair so I hired him without interviewing anyone else. He ordered the windows and two weeks later we were getting them installed. He even got me zero percent financing for six months! Jared has the most awesome installer, Jose. What a nice man! I have one unit with nightmare tenants in it and he was professional and kind even though they were not. He installed the windows and the building is beautiful. What I liked the most was Jose was CLEAN! I did not see any debris left behind in my residents apartments. Except for the trouble tenants, everyone enjoyed Jose while he installed their windows and even commented how nice, polite, fast and clean he was. When we get funds to replace the windows in our home, I have no question who we will call! Thanks Jared for making this a pleasant experience all the way around!

It felt like a bait and switch. The big deal: $2500. The Quote $6000!! Doesn't matter how nice folks are if they misrepresent and waste my time.

This was my second experience with someone on Angies list (my first call did not go very well). The first contractor I talked to called me back, but apparently he was not interested in the job because he said he would call me back to set up an appointment and never did. I wish I remembered his name so I can leave negative feedback. He had an A rating. So when I called Approved Contractors I was expecting more of the same. Boy was I wrong. The owner, Jared Green, returned my call promptly and set up an appointment. He was on time and extremely professional. Jared explained everything to me and what was going to be done. He also explained why he was able to quote the price that he did (thousand of $ less then other quotes). At this point I was a little leery because of the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true then it is". Once again I was wrong. His crew did a great job. I had an issue with some of the texture coat and when I talked to Jared about it he told me that if I was not happy then the job was not done and his crew came out the next day and fixed the problem. They even washed my windows for me. The only thing I would recommend is when they are doing the high pressure wash to remove your screens from the windows. I have some older screens so they did not hold up too well to the high pressure wash. That was the only issue I had and I have no complaints. The only reason I put that in there is to help other home owners out. I would definitely use them again and I have been recommending them to my friends and family. Fabulous! From the initial meeting to the installation, everything was great. We love our new windows, they are beautiful. The installers were great, very professional. Would highly recommend Approved Contractors.

They came out and gave me a bid. It did not work out. The quote came in and it was way over what I expected.
