Description of Work: Repaired chimney flashing and flashing around garage. Also cleaned gutters. Ben was knowledgeable, punctual and communicated status well. They were the only company that even bothered to return our call they did a great job. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Complete new roof. They did what they promised, showed up on time and completed on schedule. Was also impressed with the cleanup. We have two dogs and the debris and nails were cleaned up every day before they left.

Description of Work: Apparently they are only interested in jobs requiring a new roof. After being assured of a return phone call for a repair estimate, I never got a call. My 2 follow up requests were ignored.

Description of Work: Estimator came out and went over the roof areas of concern (over the garage) and suggested a new roof since my existing composite roof was 25 years old. The information, materials, and estimate were detailed well and I informed him that I was still getting bids. As it turned out the third roofing company suggested that I had a few more years on this roof and that repairing might be a way to go for now. I chose that option as it was considerably less money and I may have another 10 years on my existing 40 year roof. I would certainly consider Shadowfax again when I need a new roof in the future.

Description of Work: Jerry Shaffer was the lead contractor for the job, and he was great. He was clear on the costs (we installed a cedar shake roof, hence the cost), and on the particular challenges of our job. We have a tight lot with lots of trees and our parking situation meant that hauling the materials had to be done on foot. Jerry was straight forward in explaining the additional labor cost associated with that work. The roof was off and on in three days, and it is beautiful. Jerry checked on the existing rafters for termite damage (there was some, but no "live" damage), and he replaced those rafters that needed it. I would heartily recommend Jerry to anyone looking to replace their roof!

Description of Work: Besides cleaning the gutters, I had a leak I was worried about. So far my roof is not leaking. I've had two other contractors try to fix the leak but were unsuccessful. SHADOWFAX ROOFING had the right answers and best of all they spoke english.

They submitted a very competitive quote, and the reason I went with them is that they re-roofed a friend's house, and she was extremely satisfied. I am also very satisfied with the work performed. They came to "work" and were very efficient. Mr. Shaffer checks on all the work his crew does to make sure it is satisfactory. They also cleaned up the yard after themselves and all debris was hauled away. I would recommend this company to anyone as an honest, hard-working company.
Description of Work: ShadowFax Roofing replaced my existing shake roof with a 40 year composite roof. The old roof was removed, plywood layed down, the waterproofing layed down, new shingles put on, new flashing's and rolled edges installed. They also replaced my old gutters with white metal gutters and added some where they were needed. They also repaired dry rot that was found when removing the old roof. They also did some stucco repair.

 + -1 moreShadowfax performed this reroof job on time and very responsibly. The owner helped his two main roofers every day for the four days it took to do the job. When the gutter subcontractor scratched one of the new gutters, Jerry had them replace it. Jerry, the owner, also came out to fix a shower fan mount that was broken during the reroof. He proudly stands by his work and it shows. Everything was done on time and with Jerry's constant supervision of the work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering a new roof. The people across the street are going with him also this summer.
