RE Roofing did a very thorough and quick job. My house is small (1300 square feet), so they were able to complete the entire job in 2 days (1 day for tear off, repair and inspection, and 1 day for new roof installation). They did a great job cleaning up afterwards and the crews were respectful of our privacy. During the delivery of the shingles, the subcontractor damaged the walkway to our front door. I was impressed that RE and the subcontractor have responded quickly and are in the process of fixing the damage. Throughout the entire process (from quoting, selecting the roof, to installation and cleanup), RE has been a very professional and responsive company to deal with. I highly recommend them.

RE Roofing estimate was the highest of the several I received but they recommended installing 3/8" plywood over the wood slats. They repaired several areas of dry rot damaged sub-roof and removed 2 layers of old roofing. Roofing work was done quickly (about 4 days) but skylights were another story. Took 2 months to have RE Construction (a 1 person subsidiary of RE Roofing) to put in the skylight, drywall, etc. Failed city inspection on the lighting for the skylight twice. The final roof installation was very well done but encountered some problems with RE Roofing. Communications between the owner and estimator (Paul Proctor) and crew was not very good, resulting in incorrect installation of underlayment (1 layer installed, but 2 quoted), a problem that I found and confirmed by the city's building inspector. When I complained to RE Roofing, they were good about coming again to remove the portion of the roof and reinstalling the roof correctly.

Yale came at the scheduled time for a first appointment. He supplied the price for what we asked for and did not try to sell us anything different. My time was limited, so I went to the showroom to look at the roof color selections. They contacted us to confirm the roof date. It was held up a week due to weather. We put down an initial deposit and wrote 3 checks after the project was completed. Final checks were to RE Roofing, supplier for wood, hardware, etc., and a check to the tile distributor.

Paul's crew did a great job. Paul had great pricing and was able to complete our job before the rains came. The roof looks great!

It cost too much just to find out the problem.

Everything was executed on schedule from tear down, preparation, full roof replacement, gutter removal and installation, permits, through the final walk through. It was like clock work. The owner made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Clean up was excellent during and after completion of the work. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

When I made the appointment, Paul said he was glad we were interested in metal roof because if we were asking for other type of materials, they won't be available for the next three months. And Paul did ask me where I heard about RE Roofing. I said Angie's List. Well, he didn't show up for the appointment. I checked my cell phone and found a voice message. It was from Paul. He said he will not be able to come, because they decided not to offer metal roof back in May! Hey, I called on 10/6 to make the appointment. He could have told me this so I didn't have to take time off from work to wait for him to show up.

Paul Proctor runs this company with his wife. This is a good company and they do good work. Paul was $1K to $2K more expensive than the two other companies I checked out, but I feel it was well worth it. I always had the feeling that Paul was doing quality work. The roof is now 5 years old and we have had no problems. I only have two minor complaints. First the company that Paul subcontracted to do the gutters could have done better quality work. Some of the downspouts were attached sloppily. Fortunately Paul took responsibility for this and had the gutter folks correct the problems. The other minor complaint I would have is the skylight company that Paul recommended. Like many, we decided to get a skylight installed when doing the re-roofing. You need to have a skylight company that works well with the roofer. Unfortunately, the company is terrible on responsiveness and the quality of their electrical work around the skylight was poor.

Not the lowest bidder, but the job went so smoothly that we wouldn't hesitate to give them another job without getting bids. Exceptional customer service and workmanship.

They are very good. Actually, they did an excellent job. They showed up on time, they are professional, and they cleaned up every bit of the mess and hauled it away. The workers were polite and they focused on their work. I would highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job. After it was all completed it looked great and it didn't leak. They replaced our roof and tore off the old roof and replaced it with a new one. They kept the area clean and debris free.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS GREAT. THEY TOLD US WHAT TO EXPECT, KEPT IN TOUCH BY PHONE, SHOWED UP ON THE AGREED DAYS TO DO THE WORK AND FINISHED WITHIN THE TIME THEY ESTIMATED. WE WERE WARNED IT WOULD BE MESSY, BUT THE CREWS CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AS PROMISED. IT WAS EXPENSIVE BUT WELL WORTH IT.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON THE ROOFS. THEY WERE POLITE AND DID A QUICK JOB AND THE PRICE WAS ALSO GOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND AND IF I NEED MY ROOFS CHANGED, I WILL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

They were very professional and did a very good job. They are very efficient. The owner came out and he was professional. They tore off the old roof and they cleaned up all the mess. They gave me a good warranty. I would recommend them.

I was very impressed with the job this company completed. They did a good clean installation and I actually think they ended up doing our whole block. They had a very reasonable price, did a fine job and they were clean in their work. They did this job pretty quick. Everyone was so impressed with their timeliness nearly the whole block ended up using them.

THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO GAVE ME THE BID WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, and HELPFUL. THE WORKERS WERE PROMPT, EFFICIENT, and NEAT. WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. EVERYTHING WAS DONE PROMPTLY, and EFFICIENTLY. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY, and IT IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE USED THEM.

REALLY TOOK THE TIME TO DO IT RIGHT. PRICE WAS A HIGH, BUT WITH A ROOF LEAK, I DID NOT WANT TO USE ANYONE ELSE.
