Description of Work: When I contacted Pacific Drywall & Painting I talked with Sean. He was very accommodating and came the next day to give me an estimate. I had to get a city inspection done and before and after insulation (8 day wait for city). As soon as the inspection was done on a Friday, Pacific Drywall came out on Saturday with a crew of four and hung all the drywall on my two car vaulted garage ceiling, in a new room and a new wine cellar. This was done even though they are very busy. They have been on the job every day and in particular David has done very high quality work on the taping through finish sanding. He cleans up every day and is very pleasant as well as professional. They are even letting me use their scaffolding to rehang the lights in the garage. I would highly recommend Pacific Drywall & Painting as they are cost effective, very good to work with and very nice people that do high quality work.

 + -1 morei contacted pacific drywall about some drywall/soundproofing work that was part of a larger repair/renovation project on our house. scott replied quickly and we talked through the work that i wanted done. he was very knowledgable about soundproofing techniques and materials which is something i have not found to be the case with most contractors. he followed up promptly with a quote the next day. i will definitely call scott again when we have more drywall work.
Description of Work: replace drywall on and soundproof two exterior walls, each with a window. drywall is a specialized soundproofing variety (quietrock) and a rubber soundproofing underlay needs to be attached to the studs before the drywall is attached.

 + 0 morePacific Drywall was great. The owner called me and sent a nice man to do the initial assessment. Then he was there to do the jobso there was no miscommunication. They said when they would come and they finished as scheduled. I cannot ask for more in a contractor.
Description of Work: I was doing a condo renovation. The house had many textures and old patch jobs. I needed a ceiling patched and a complete retexture of the whole place to bring some continuity in the home.

 + -1 moreWe had a bit of a delay getting them out for an estimate as initially they weren't very responsive, however the work that was performed was very high quality. They were able to hang the drywall in a day and the texture work was very good. In the living room where the ceiling was smoothed, we were unable to find any imperfections at all. Great work overall. We would use them again.
Description of Work: We hired Pacific drywall to smooth out our ceiling as well as hang new drywall in our kitchen. They covered all the walls, hung new drywall in the kitchen ceiling as well as smoothed out existing drywall in the living room.

 + -1 moreCalled for an estimate on dry-walling the entire interior of my home that is being gutted. That was on March 27th. I heard back from them right away. We set up a date for them to come out and see the house on April 3. He came when he said he would and I have been waiting for the estimate ever since. I emailed on April 5th to follow up on the estimate. I received an email from Pacific Dry wall on April 9th saying that the estimate would be in my inbox that night. Today is April 11th and I have yet to get an estimate.... I can't wait any longer and am going to use someone else. It appears from the other reviews that they do excellent work. Perhaps they do and they are too busy. If that is the case I would have like to have been told that unfortunately they are booked to capacity at this time etc.

 + -1 moreThings went well overall. They performed the work in the time quoted and were able to fit me in very quickly for both of my jobs. I expected the process to be a little cheaper, but their quote was in the middle of the three quotes I received. They were able to tape and texture the majority of my house in four days which was pretty impressive. It would have taken me months. The patch took a few hours which was mainly dictated by the drying time of the mud. I was impressed with the quality of the texturing. Skip troweling is pretty much an art and Nelson does it well. He was able to match the existing texture in the remainder of the house and took pride in his work. They warranty their work so if you notice any defects (tool marks, etc), they will come back out and fix it for free. I was quite pleased with Pacific Drywall and would use them again when I renovate my bathrooms.
Description of Work: We used Pacific Drywall twice in the past month. The first time we used them was to tape and skip trowel texture the majority of our 1368 square foot house (everything but the bathrooms and the majority of the kitchen). This included walls and ceilings. Shortly after they finished we had to cut a hole in the ceiling to allow a floor to ceiling cabinet to rotate. They came back a second time to patch the hole. This included hanging, taping and skip trowel texturing the 2' x 3' patch to match the rest of the ceiling.

 + -1 moreTheir prices were pretty reasonable. It was a positive experience. They did a fantastic job. They came at 7:15 in the morning and finished at 1:15 in the afternoon. We just moved out overnight. They left a nice clean area. They did a great job. We were happy with them.

 + -1 moreWhole process was great. Bid came in the middle of the three we got. The owner Scott works part time in Campbell and part time remote from Idaho, but I was always able to reach him. The person who physically came to the house to do the bid was Sean. He also did the work and did a fantastic job. Scott and Sean were both very helpful in answering all our questions and went out of their way to ensure we even had answers to painting questions (we had trouble painting new drywall in they past - peeling paint). Would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Description of Work: Helped with bath remodeling repairs to drywall. E.g., fixing torn drywall paper, holes in the wall after electrical work, etc. Matched texture of existing drywall (smooth).

A previously arranged handyman (not Angie's list) got too busy and left the job with only minimal progress. With painters coming the next morning, I scrambled and called several Angie's list drywall contractors. Scott & Michelle at Pacific Drywall were very responsive and helpful, promptly returned my phone call and went the extra-mile to pull a foreman onto my job the same day, and complete it within about 4 hours. The schedule was preserved, which affected the new tenant move in timing and the beginning of rent. Good job.
Description of Work: Three medium sized drywall areas needed to be patched (1ft x 5ft each), 3 coats smooth trowel finish.
