Scott and his team did a great job helping us with the drywall/painting portion of our bathroom remodel. We really appreciate that they came back and repaired a couple of spots on the walls without complaint. Great service and quality. Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying they did an amazing job on both the drywall/retexture and the paint job. We did three bids. One bid price was way too high (by another cie). Another bid by another contractor, with similar price, did not detect the right texture compare to the other two bids. Only Sean from Pacific Drywall looked like providing the right job at the right price. After contracting them, they came in with a full team. It was a 6 day jobs with the painting. The crew worked like clockwork. They really covered well all the walls and appliance. They sanded the old texture (not all contractor would do that), so all the covers were important. They did a great jobs on the walls and touch up. The texture is really nice. The crew was very professional, and courteous. They seems to work well together, and it seems to be very well managed. This is definitely the best contractor we hired to far in the bathroom remodel, and disaster recovery. Special thanks to their painter as well. Great job ... We also asked to paint a staircase that was difficult to do. We are very pleased with the result. Some other bids for the paint asked for scaffolding, which increase the cost and time. The painter is tall, and he had trick to do the work very well without any scaffolding. Impressive and very professional ...
Description of Work: We had a bathroom leak on the second floor when we were away in vacation. The recovery team remove drywall from ceiling on the first floor. We also took the time to remodel the bathroom. So, We needed to do drywall on the ceiling of first floor and the bathroom on the second floor. The ceiling is high at 11 feet, and we had to do re-texture of the entire ceiling on first floor. We also ask to do some drywall repairs on some walls. They repainted the ceilings. We also asked to repaint the stairway to the second floor.

Contacted Scott online and provided pics of wallpaper-covered walls in the bath and kitchen that needed repair and resurfacing. He was very knowledgeable and his crew --Sam and Brian-- arrived the next day to start work. They removed wallpaper, repaired the drywall, and re-textured, matching other existing walls and tremendously improving those two rooms. They laid down protective coverings when they started and cleaned up well when they finished. The job was done quickly and professionally. They were easy to work with and very helpful.

Very responsive. The only contractor who agreed to do the job since I just wanted one room done. I had taken down the wallpaper and in doing so left the walls a bit rough in places. I sent pictures of the walls via email and got a quote the next day. They were on time and did a good job in patching some small holes. For such a messy job they did a very good clean up job, I only found a bit of texturing mud on the driveway outside, but it was small and cleaned up easily. I would definitely call them again.

As soon as Sean arrived, he laid protective coverings down. He worked quickly, was friendly and professional, and when he left the work looked great. We had several areas to patch, including where a wet bar had been removed. We were worried they'd create a mess, but we didn't need to do any cleanup at all. We're very pleased with all aspects of the job. We will definitely call Scott again when we need more drywall work.

Scott, the owner provided a quote online based on pictures I provided. He seemed to get a very good grasp of the work that needed to be performed and provided a very reasonable estimate. All the other providers recommended replacing the wall with significant repairs but Scott recommended a repair instead which also reduced the amount of work needed. Both the workmen, Sam and Dave were very organized, professional and performed superior quality work. The pre-work preparation itself was performed keeping our convenience in mind and helped keep the dust and debris limited to just one room. Sam also performed the texturing on the walls which was not only great quality but also very fast. Overall, I would highly recommend Pacific Drywall and Painting Inc for drywall and texturing work and am definitely looking to using their services in the future.
Description of Work: The provider helped with repairing three drywalls. One wall needed a complete overhall with minor repairs on the other two walls. Pacific drywall and painting also added texture to all four walls of the room and made sure that the texture matched that of the adjacent kitchen walls.

Scott came to my house to give an estimate and I found him to be fairly unprofessional. He took a longish, profanity-laden phone call in the middle of the appointment. Then I'd asked for two of the rooms to be completed before the others, and that was not done. The workers forgot one room at first and needed to extend the length of work to catch up. They also left a window open after leaving one evening (I'd left them with a key to lock up as I wasn't yet living there) and I didn't know until at least 24 hours following. The quality of the work is pretty good -- not super -- though it's an enormous improvement over what I had. There are gaps at the top of the picture rail in one room where the drywall doesn't quite line up, and in other rooms the picture rails are filled with scraped-off popcorn texture. Additionally, the workers put in a small patch at the request of my electricians without my authorization and then I was charged for it. After the work, I was left with scads of dust and detritus. I wasn't going to leave a review since my impression wasn't great, but Scott emailed and asked me to do so and so here I am.
Description of Work: Removed popcorn ceiling texture and glued-on acoustic tile in various combinations in 5 rooms and a hallway. Put up new drywall ceilings in 3 rooms and resurfaced the other 2.

I bought a Big Deal and contacted them letting them know that I would be away on vacation but would like to use the deal when I got back. They asked for pictures of the issues and I sent it to them. They said it wouldn't be a problem and that they'll get in touch when I got back. Right when I got back I got a call asking if I would like the work done that Friday. It sounded perfect so we did it. 2 men showed up and got right to work. 3 hours later they were done and everything looked beautiful. They didn't paint because that would take longer than 3 hours and the big deal didn't include that. I can paint so I'm happy.

*Update* They have contacted me and are submitting a bid. Will update when/if the work is done. Sounds like they are crazy busy. I contacted Pacific by phone to arrange for an estimate for drywall repair. I spoke to the owner and an assistant/office manager - gave them my contact info. They were very pleasant and professional. They promised to call me to arrange a specific time to come by. And... nothing. I called again and left a vmail a few days later just in case wires got crossed or they didn't take down my number correctly. And... nothing. I guess we should be happy for them that business is so good that they can't accommodate everyone. But I'm still stuck with a hole in my ceiling. On to another provider!

3 teams of installers came out over the course of 1 1/2 weeks to do the install. First crew was the drywall hanging crew. They were very fast and were helpful with some problem areas in the framing of the house (warped / out of plumb studs). I was very impressed with the precision of the cut outs of the recessed lighting in the ceiling. There literally is no gap between the can light and the drywall. Second crew was taping / mudding and again, they were able to compensate for the "oldness" of the frame of the house to make everything look great and even. This crew was able to make the old/new transition work well. Third crew came in to do the spraying of the Knockdown texture. The texture came out even and consistent across the entire work area. At my request they blended in some of the new work with the old existing drywall and it came out nice. Overall an A+ on quality and professionalism. I will be using them again when I complete my Kitchen and Bathroom remodels.

Outstanding work with superior craftsmanship throughout! Everything about our experience with Pacific Drywall & Painting was superb. Scott (the owner) nearly always picked up the phone right when I called. Sean arrived on time for the bid. He was professional, friendly, and very informative. He spent well over half an hour here for the estimate, carefully inspecting all areas and educating me on the process for repair. Scott emailed a detailed bid two days later. They would have been able to start the work the very next week, but due to our own schedule, we needed to wait one more week. The project took two full days ? one for the drywall repair & texturing, and the other for sanding the new texturing and painting. Sam and Jim performed our work the first day. They were highly skilled, attentive to our needs, and kept us informed throughout the work. They worked very well together as a team ? both in how they worked and in how they communicated with each other. They put drop cloths in all the rooms being worked on, and they hung long protective plastic tarps from the ceiling to encase all work sites and minimize dust to our home. The only thing I can think of that could have been improved was that the stairs between the two levels of our home didn?t get covered, and thus got pretty dusty from a lot of foot traffic. The quality of the work they did is outstanding. Our kitchen ceiling looks like new again?with their texturing blending right in with the old texturing. It looks like the new recessed lights have always been there; you can?t even tell there used to be multiple holes and ceiling damage from the old fluorescent lights! We were especially impressed with the work Sam did on an interior door. It had a damaged area which had been previously patched with a lump of some sort of plaster. Sam sanded it down and then put new ?mud? on it, using his tools to create swirls in the mud to imitate the surrounding pattern in the original door. After painting, the end-result looks amazing (!) and saved us from having to buy a new specialty sized door. A couple days later, once everything had dried, Carl arrived to sand the new texturing and paint two ceilings, several walls, the door, and some other small areas. He set up appropriate drop cloths and did a walk-through with me to confirm all areas needing painted. He marked each area with painter?s tape and we put sticky notes with the type & color of paint for each surface. Carl?s skills as a painter are excellent and the lines between one edge and another are nice and even. Overall, we were highly impressed and extremely pleased with the work Pacific Drywall & Painting did for us. We would absolutely use them again for any other work of this kind, and we?ve already recommended them to a friend.
Description of Work: Repaired several holes in kitchen ceiling left from old fluorescent light removal, repaired hole in popcorn ceiling around newly installed bedroom light, fixed damage to bathroom ceiling around newly installed fan, repaired and retextured damage to an interior door, repaired and retextured several walls with long cracks, repaired gouge in dining room wall left from accidental drilling during previous electrical work, patched hole in garage sheetrock. Retextured throughout. Painted afterwards.

I am so picky about how I want things done, it's just the way I am. The ceiling and skylight turned out so awesome. The ceiling is textured and the skylight walls are flat. He matched the texture on the ceiling and the edge of the skylight and ceiling are seamless. The room with 8 electrical boxes removed, you would never know they were there. the same with the bathroom, flawless. Since all the walls are texture free, it is difficult to get the walls extra smooth. He patched any little areas around the house I asked him to address. He put plastic on the carpet. not just in the rooms he worked but down the hall and anywhere he would be walking. He was polite, and positive when I would point out yet another little nick to patch.

We purchased a town home, arranged to meet with the job foreman for an estimate, and they started two days later. On the positive side, the work was beautifully done and it's a messy and difficult job. It required a fair amount of scaffolding to do the vaulted ceilings and skylight. Scott (the owner) coordinated with me on texture style, paint color, some extra cost for the work around the crown moldings, including caulking. He expected the work to take three days, and it actually was six days from start to finish, because of a weekend, staffing issues, and the job was a bit more extensive than originally estimated. Only negative, which we survived: Scott thought the clean-up crew had come through when they had not, some problem with coordination on their end. So when we walked in, a few hours of work were still to be done: re-installing curtains and fixtures, mopping floors, removing equipment. I called Scott and he immediately sent over his men to finish up, all to my satisfaction.

Worked with Scott via email on describing the work. Provided pictures of wall and texturing that was needed. Scott provided estimate of work, scheduled the work, and had Nelson from his team do the work. Scott's communication was excellent and the price for the work was fair. Plus once the tradesman was on site I changed the work a bit. "No problem" was their response. I would use them again the future.
