Miracle Method Surface Refinishing

He arrived on time and and did an excellent job. He was professional & courteous. The job took one & a half days. The length of time is mainly due to drying/curing time. The smell is unbelievable. It permeated the entire house. Our house is 2500 sq feet, two story. Some advise: Close any doors in the house that you DO NOT want that smell to go in to. He kept the door closed to the bathroom he was working in which helped some but I think the smell traveled though the heating ducts. I wish we had done this early on. In fact, the paper they initally give you warns of the odor but I failed to read it. In retrospect: Our house is 28 years old. We bought it new (only the foundation was finished). Which means the tub & fixtures & plumbing are 28 years old. The tub fixtures are high end Delta solid brass from when Delta was making really goos fixtures. The porcelain was looking bad. So, we decided to go with the Angie big deal instead of what we should have done. Replace the tub. Over the years the house has settled some & we are on a former rock quarry. The tub is slightly out of plumb & may have a slight leak in the drain. We are currently replacing all of the tub fixtures plus the 28 year old tub/shower valve with a new anti-scald valve. I will also have the drain and overflow replaced. Another 28 years and it will be the next guys problem, if you know what I mean.

The company offering this deal is quoting $714 for a simple bath tub paint job and essentially the $49 deal means nothing here. I believe their prices are outrageous and the deal is just a way for the company to lure new customers, but then quote them a much higher amount for the work when customers have bought the deal.

They have a cost effective solution. I wish that it would last longer. Everything was good. This is the second time that I have used them.

It went very well. He was prompt and thorough. As part of his service, he returned to check the work after it had set a bit. He did some minor touch-ups. Very pleasant to work with.

The work went smoothly. I think the vapours caused damage to my CO detector, as it now sometimes signals an alarm even with the furnace off. I would suggest removing the CO detector or placing in a sealed container prior to the work starting and put it back a week after the work is finished.

Excellent job, well done! The tub looks brand new. We chose a different color for the tile surround and that looks awesome too. Overall experience was positive. Miracle Method took the time to explain the process, was helpful in picking the tile color, and was patient when we had to reschedule due to a delay in other contractors' work. Very glad we did this instead of replacing the tub and retiling.

Jorge was on time (within his 2-hour window), and knew exactly what he was doing. The first day, he cleaned the tub thoroughly, then masked everything off except the tub, and sprayed the product on the tub. As they had warned me, the fumes were pretty strong, but he left a fan in the open bathroom window overnight, and we kept the bathroom door closed so fumes wouldn't go all through the house. I had been concerned because there was only 5" between the bathtub and the vanity, and they had told me that this might make it impossible to get as good a seal on that part of the tub. When he had finished spraying, I took a look, and that area looked very good. The next day, he returned (right on time again), and buffed and finished the work on the tub. It looked very good, and I was left with a sheet of do's and don'ts for the new finish - Do use non-abrasive cleaners, Don't use a bath mat with strong suction cups, as it can harm the surface and void the warranty; there was an optional "slip-resistant" surface which could have been added for $75, but they didn't recommend or guarantee it, so I didn't take it. Don't let water "sit" on the bathtub surface. As I had been warned, the fumes were strong. I had told Jorge that the bathroom window's mechanism was broken, and it would not open. He went outside to try to pull it open, and actually broke the mechanism a bit more, so that it WOULD open wide. I would have been upset about this, except that the window mechanism was broken anyway, so he really didn't do any harm. I could see why he didn't want to vent from a window in the room next to the bathroom -- that room is my "office" where I work at least 8 hours a day, and venting it from there would have made it almost impossible to work in that room, and would probably have caused the fumes to go throughout the house. As it was, he left the window wide open, with a fan in place, overnight, and we kept the bathroom door closed so the fumes wouldn't spread through the house. It was several days before the fumes were completely dissipated, but never got too bad. I'm very happy with the like-new white shiny bathtub, and was very pleased that the total cost was excactly what I had been quoted on the phone.

The technician was punctual, professional, and polite. And the new finish looks very good. No complaints at all so far. The franchise owner says the new finish should last 10 years or more with proper care (which means no abrasive cleaners, no shampoo bottles or soap bars left sitting on the finish etc).

Miracle Bathdid a beautiful job and they were absolutely fabulous. It's been a year or two and I have not had a chip or a peel or anything. I've had my tubs done before at all my rental units and they chipped, it's still as beautiful and clean as ever. The tile job that they did was immaculate. They did it all in one day. I give them an A in everything.

A pricey perhaps, but quality work!

I chose them because I saw them featured on the Today show. I was happy with the job, they did what they said they would do. The tub looks great.

They reglazed the bath tub. They came out on the day and time that they said. It was a two day process, they showed up both days in a timely manner. Payment was easy with a credit card over the phone. They left paperwork with tips on how to take care of the refinished bathtub. I was pleased with their performance.

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT- REFINISH, DON'T REPLACE! I had 20yr old cultured marble vanity countertop and shower surround. I really didn't want the disruption, time and cost for replacing these items, AND I didn't want to have these items end up in a landfill. Jane and Ashlee were great in reviewing my needs and providing a timely bid. I wasn't sure of the color, and Dave helped out - I was down to 2 colors and he helped with the final decsion. Javier came out the next Monday and worked steadily each day (4-5 hours) to complete the job (1 day surface cleaning and prep, 1 day refinish, and 1 day final coating and clean up) This is a great company with a great product, and I would recommend Miracle Method rather than demolish everything and replace - that's too much money and too much time - Miracle Method will give you the desired results.

Installers were punctual and left the premises clean. When I arrived home in the evening the fumes from the first refinish were very strong but had dissipated considerably by the next morning. By the time the second tub was finished there was very little odor. I'm thrilled with the results: bathtubs look brand new and are very easy to clean. The make-over was less costly and disruptive than installing two new tubs. Highly recommend to give new life to old fiberglass tub-shower units.

Tub looked "like new" after repair. However, primary reason we called them out was to repair and reglaze our 10-yr old porcelain kitchen sink, which is under-mounted a granite countertop. Dale tried to use some chemicals to clean it (at no charge), but the sink has several chips and is stained, so no improvement. He also tried to dissuade us from re-finishing stating that they weren't able to warranty the work (due to heavy use of kitchen sinks), saying that they'd do it only "if we insisted", but that they wouldn't recommend it. Replacing the sink is a several thousand dollar venture, so that's not the most-desirable option either. So, after all that, we're where we started on the kitchen sink, which is kind of disappointing. Note that we have called other Repair & Refinishing companies in the area, and none want to tackle a kitchen sink, so it's not necessarily a knock on Miracle.

I first called Ashley who provided me a quote over the phone. I then went to their office in Downtown Campbell to see examples of their work. Ashley was able to schedule the work the following week. I left a key for the technician and the work was completed in two days. The tub looks brand new except for the overflow cover and drain hardware - they don't offer to replace the old parts as they are not licensed plumbers and cannot perform that specific work. The slip-resistant surface was not done in the diamond pattern as Ashley described but a complete rectangle instead (confirm with technician if you decide to have this done - I was not present) All in all they did a great job.

It is a family owned business. They had a very good rating and that is why I went with them. I was very pleased with their work. They were knowledgeable and informative. My overall experience with them was good.

I have used them in the past. I decided to call and I got the estimate over the phone. They looked up prices for the work I wanted and just gave mer that as the estimate. They were very pleasant and were very straight forward. They started the work this morning and have been great so far. They didn't leave a mess and were very nice.

I'm in the process of completely re-doing my tiny bathroom and had this done in conjunction with a complete bathroom remodel. I considered replacing the tub, but the new tubs aren't as deep as the old ones. I found the vendor on Angie's List and liked the comments. I called the company and got a quote and determined that I would use Miracle Method as soon as my tiler was finished. I asked how long it would take to schedule and was told a few days, usually. The tub only had minor nicks, until a worker dropped a hammer and created a HUGE dent and nick (approx 2" by 4'). He felt awful about it and said that he would pay if there was an extra charge for repairing such a large nick. We called Miracle Method and they said that was no problem and there would be no additional charge. When I called back to schedule, I made the mistake of waiting until Monday afternoon, so had to wait 10 days before they could come and do the work. Part of the problem was that my schedule prevented them from coming the two times that were available that week. The owner said if I had called in the morning, I could have had the time I wanted. The appointment was scheduled for the following Thursday between 9-10, Friday between 12-2, and Saturday between 11-1, if needed. On the day of the work, Javier showed up in the time slot and got right to work. The initial work (fixing all the nicks and applying the first coat) only took a 2.5 hours. He then left and came back Friday, also within the given slot. I had decided that I wanted a second coat because the tub was so old, so he sanded and then applied the second coat and was gone within an hour or so. On Saturday, he came back and finished up in about three hours. I am a VERY picky person and found a few minor flaws in the buffing job so he redid it with no complaint and the tub now looks perfect. Even around the drain, which was masked, not removed, looks great. Javier was professional, patient, and an excellent worker.

Technician arrived on time and was courteous and came back next day as scheduled and completed the work on time. He did an excellent job.

They quoted a rate over the phone and were here the next days. It took two days and came out quite nice.

I visited their show room in Campbell, set up an appointment for someone to come out for an estimate. The owner came as scheduled and looked at our tub. He was able to fit us into his schedule the next day since there had been a cancellation. The work was done in 2 days as promised and the tub looks like new.

Absolutely a beautiful job, both the sink and tub look brand new, with all the charm of being from the 1920's. Everyone I dealt with was polite and professional.

Went by the local showroom and met with the owners. Gave us an estimate, and we then made an appointment to have the work done. It took 1/2 day for the refinishing to be completed, as there is a curing time between the applications. There is quite an odor during and after the process, but once it was all completed the odor was gone within 24 hours. We are very pleased with our 'NEW' tub.

THEY WORKED AROUND MY SCHEDULE AND COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED WITH NO MESS AND A GREAT FINISH ON THE TUB.
