 + 0 moreThis was an insurance claim, my cost was the $500 deductable. This company did not reinstall the insulation and they used non water proof sealing which cause more damage. Their employee struggled with English and perhaps could not read the work order or the product labels. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company as well as the State of California License Board. My Mom was critically ill at the time of the offense and her care was my priority and I was unable to address this matter at that time. But to protect others I felt it important to post my experience
Description of Work: .I live in a condo and there was water damage generated my neighbor. After the tear out of the ceiling floor, JM Construction was brought in for the rebuild. The employee that was sent struggled with the work order and with english. He did a really sloppy job, I complained to the construction company and the manager came out and agreed that it was not a good job. They promised to send out another worker, the new worker did not speak english either. From a distance the worked looked ok, but up close, there was paint splatter all on the window and on the floor behind the toilet, paint was running in the corner along the tile of the shower, it really looked like the work of a non pro. A few months after this work was done a water pipe broke in a wall on the third floor and water made its way to my unit, during this tear out it was discovered that JM Construction ( a few months earlier) did NOT reinstall insulation and they used non water proof sealing.

 + -1 moreWe had a fire and they came in to remodel and removed a wall from the kitchen to open up to the living room. This is a very respectable contractor and his work was just excellent. They threw away the trash without charging and I was happy with the quality of work that was completed. They were recommended from my neighbor.
Description of Work: Had kitchen remodeled.
