Glenn Lenker was very professional at explaining his charges up front and completed the job in 90 minutes at a reasonable price. Best of all, there was no pressure to replace the roof or gutters even though that is his business. I have complete trust in Mr. Lenker and would call him for any future roof repair issues or renovations.

Done Rite Roofing and Gutters adds Solar to their expertise which is why we chose Glenn and his solar partner Steve to rehabilitate our roof. This two story 1968 house in the Santa Theresa and Cottle Rd area of San Jose has a combination of steep pitch in front which leveled off into a large flat roof at the peak, this was a challenge to some roofing companies we called. The job was complicated in that the prior owner had some kind of flaky rooftop HVAC distribution box with several legs providing and quot;dump airand quot; to the center of each of the upstairs rooms. (Flat roof with many penetrations, a true recipe for leakage). We had decided to go with Solar due to the high electric bills we were seeing so we knew we needed to break down and rehab the roof. We found Glenn / Done Rite Roofing on Yelp and Angie's List and noted that he had the most consistent high satisfaction ratings of any of the other roofing specialists. Glenn was able to schedule a visit and estimate within a couple of days and not only was his pricing very competitive he was very honest in assessing the fact that our garage flat roof was in stellar condition and did not need repair or rehabilitation in that it had been redone recently by the previous owner. It was during our discussions that he related his working agreement with Solar Ease to allow the solar install to be completed (hand in glove) with the roofing work. Glen installs the high end, semi custom, mounting stanchions during the roofing process, adding the custom mini roof jack flashings and rubber seals before the shingling took place this created zero penetrations to the roofing material. The end result was a pitched roof with a 50 year guarantee a flat roof with all the old ductwork removed and the penetrations patched, sealed, and then finished with a three layer process the top layer being a torched on membrane suitable for a roof in any climate from the Mojave to the northern climes of Canada. You just cant buy a better job or work with a guy with a better attitude or higher level of honor than Glenn.... Glenn and his team sure... Working with the Done Right Roofing folks was a pleasant and direct experience from start to finish. I thought the proposal and contract were highly complete and professional, and the communication (email and phone) from the home office was exemplary before, during, and after the job. The bid seemed comparable to other bids I received in price, and given the high quality of the finished work, was worth every penny. Scheduling the gutter removal and replacement around some rainfall caused a slight (but unavoidable) delay, but in the end the installation team arrived when they said they'd arrive and did what they said they'd do. Some issues with support design of my roof surfaced after the old gutters were removed, and they were handled effectively and at reasonable additional cost. I had optioned for aluminum gutters and steel downspouts with a very substantial debris guard, the install team handled the job with ease. The job took one business day from start to finish, and the crew cleaned up completely before leaving. We also inspected the entire job before they took off, which was a pleasure as everything was done properly the first time. I'd use the Done Right Roofing team again without hesitation, and recommend them to any similar residential home with gutter/downspouts removal and replacement needs. They are true professionals.

Done Right's bid was not the lowest of the 5 or 6 I got, but it was competitive. Glen (the owner) was very professional, took plenty of time to explain the type of roof coating he would use, discussed the possible issues with the weather and how we would work around them, and provided a good written quote with a longer warranty than the other, cheaper bid. I also liked the fact that Done Right is licensed as a general and sheet metal contractor, in addition to roofing. For all these reasons, I chose Done Right. They met expectations in every way. The work began within a few days of my acceptance. Glen called frequently throughout to keep me posted on progress and to let me know when they would and would not be working. He flexibly worked around some weather issues, whereas some bidders didn't want to do the work until spring because the coating system can't be applied when there's any moisture on the roof or likely to come within 24 hours. In the course of the work, the crew found some low areas on one of the roofs, and built them up (at a very reasonable cost) to decrease the pooling of water. They also replaced a previously broken skylight just for the cost of the material. All in all I am very satisfied with the work performed, in terms of quality, price, and the professional and ethical demeanor of Glen and his crew.

They are very good people; we were going to use them but then we decided to remodel and our contractor had a roofer that he uses all the time and so we went with the other roofer. Done right is a very upstanding company and are honest. I think they do very good work and we went to look at several roofs they do and they do beautiful work. We had many quotes and their pricing was competitive. They send out a newsletter every few months and give feedback on other companies for other services that they have found to do good work. They were very responsive by following up their quote and well as giving us future scheduling appointments.

.They not only promote their company but also other people in the same group with newsletters. They are just good. I will use this provider in the future.

Both times I spoke to Glenn to get estimates and schedule the work. Very responsive - I got quick call backs over phone and also via email which is a big plus in my book. Have provided good estimates both times. Are punctual and call ahead to let me know when they will arrive at my home. Once they had to reschedule to help another customer with a roof emergency. Glenn called a few days ahead to explain the situation and asked to reschedule. I could see he cares about his customers but is also practical about prioritizing his work. Since they are roofing professionals when they clean the gutters they do a quick once-over on the roof and let me know if anything needs fixing they know how to walk on Spanish tiles which break easily and is an added expense to replace Am very happy with their service and will definitely call them again when I need my gutters cleaned or for any roofing work.

We had an excellent experience with this company. They did a perfect job, and the entire crew was great! I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend them others.

Disaster. Deceptive pricing, sloppy work.

I had tried unsuccessfully to stop the leaking and they were able to get the leaking to stop. They were not the cheapest for the work. They were very responsive. I would use them again in the future.

I was happy their service. I would recommend them to others.

I have used other companies in the past and Done Right is by far the most thorough company that I have used. They even take the gutters apart when they clean them.
