Robert from Cold Craft was terrific, as was their scheduling team. Can't say enough about how professional they were and what a relief it is to have a reputable company to use. We plan to replace our systems in the next few years and we will definitely use Cold Craft.

Use Cold Craft for your furnace or AC needs! I had a stress-free experience getting my new furnace and AC installed. I can't say enough good things about the office staff and even more about the installers Emilio & George, they were amazing! They fully accommodated my busy schedule and just did an outstanding job! My place isn't easy to work on due to being an inside-unit townhouse. I couldn't believe how nicely they installed everything and pulled cables without any needed drywall repair. Amazing! And then how they worked so hard, especially at the end to get my Ecobee thermostat to work correctly with the system...and they did it! They are true professionals.

A-plus if I could have given it for the quality of the work and follow up and the thoroughness of the staff. Everyone is a professional and took pride in their work and the work of their team as a whole. Kent adjusted the options as the design process moved forward to ensure we stayed in budget, and then they worked with the general contractor to make it all came together. That was perfect for us. Their value shines in the follow-up. We've had some minor issues and they've been solved, and I've been treated like gold. No question I will use them for the HVAC for the re-model on the other side of my home. Cold Craft is not inexpensive, they are in-line with what a quality provider would and should charge.

It went well. Kent determined that it was not cost effective for me. He checked my current furnace and suggested I contact PG&E to do an inspection since it was so old. He also showed me some options for a new more efficient furnace.

Their work was excellent. I like the salesperson who happened to be the president of the company. He was not a typical salesperson. He was low key and explained all the options. They sent over a first-class 3 man crew to do the installation. They were all excellent, patient, clean, and hard working and didn't waste any time.

Basically, it didn't make sense for us to do this. This was $49 wasted.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I only consulted with the guy once and when it became pretty clear that it was a geothermal thing that he was talking about was way more expensive than I wanted to get involved with, I didn't pursue it further. I don't have a thing against the guy, it was just too much money. The gigantic geothermal system was just way too much for my house. The price for the consultation was extremely reasonable. He's a very nice man so I would recommend him. He was right on time. I would only use them if I were building a new house.

I can't say enough good things about Staci from Cold Craft. I've had a leak in my air conditioning system since the house was built five years ago. I've had three different companies out to look at it, who ranged from not knowing how to fix it to not WANTING to fix it. When Staci from Cold Craft showed up, I knew immediately from the questions she asked that this was going to be a better experience. She quickly verified that there was a leak, then set to work finding it - first by pressurizing the system with nitrogen and using a detector, then by applying a strong vacuum and making sure the vacuum would hold. I got lucky - the leaks were in fittings on the outside of the house, and were caused by improper installation (not surprising). All told, Staci spent about four and a half hours on the job. When she left, the A/C was blowing cold air. Time will tell if the leak is fixed or not, but unlike my previous experiences with other companies, I have a high degree of confidence this time based on her explanations of what she had done. Will definitely use this company again.

It was OK. Eventually we had to get the furnace replaced. We didn't go through him, we went through someone else.

I think they have the best guarantee I’ve ever seen. It’s a 100% guarantee that if you don’t like the system, you can have everything removed from your home cleanly to allow you to start from scratch with any other company. They were on time, they gave me all the details of what I could do with the additional ducts to my house. They are a little more expensive because they do say that they are all union which I liked also. I highly recommend them.

Very well. They usually do not serve the area I live in but did it anyway as Angie's List included the area on the site.

Good. They reminded me of the date of the appointment. The first visit was on time and the second was done and complete before I returned from work with the paperwork left in a place that I could easily find.

We went with another company that gave us a significantly lower bid for the exact same work and AC unit. The other company also included the permit in their bid so it really was significantly less expensive. To be fair though, the rep showed up on time and did a thorough job of analyzing the situation and talking through options. One thing rubbed me the wrong way though. The company was running a special at the time on a combined AC/Furnace deal so the rep tried to convince me that my furnace needed replacing when it's less than 10 years old. One of the other bidders actually referred to my furnace as "newish". I wouldn't assume that the one rep reflects the whole company though.

I am real happy with what they did. I will continue to use them in the future.

Their bid was high so I didn?t use them. They sounded like they knew what they were doing when I talked to them but nothing else really stood out to me. I found someone who would do it cheaper and I think I got good service from the less expensive company. I can?t say what the end product would be for Cold Craft but I would recommend getting a bid. The guy that came was prompt, on time, and responsive to all of my questions.

Bought my condo about 18 months ago. It had an old technology, freon, heat pump, 24 years old. I asked about replacement with my first service, not Cold Craft, and was told there was no replacement unit available. In 2010 the homeowners' association contracted with Cold Craft to replace the heat/AC units for the common areas. Cold Craft quoted the price for my unit, including the structural work and permits, with the work commencing when Cold Craft had cranes at the property to lift my unit to the third story roof with the larger, common area units. My project seemed to take some extended time, start to finish, possibly as a small part of a much larger project. The unit is in and functioning well and I have no unresolved issues with the job.

the entire experience was great from beginning to end the amount of preparation and .level of communication was excellent and the cleanliness of the workers at the end of the project was beyond all my expectations

The service went very well, the guy was very professional and experienced. Even used the little booties on his feet to protect my carpet.

It was wonderful. I thought it was going to be so much more but it wasn't. He was really good about showing me how to program, it was very helpful. They were prompt, called before they were coming. They were clean and professional looking. They parked in the street, the pricing was good/fair. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Estimate visit went poorly. Owner has an attitude that is very unpleasant and he was, apparently, afraid of competing estimates. I also think he didn't like the fact that we knew a lot about gas furnaces. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!
