Carlos’s crew did a great job in tearing out my old floor and put new floor with 4 coats of mega floor treatment for heavy traffic. I am a happy customer.

Everything was completed on time. The entire job went very well. Final result is wonderful. Could not be better. They will complete other 3 bedrooms.

Communication from the office was very good, and everyone was very professional and courteous. Over the years we've had a few different folks work on our hardwood floors (install, refinish, etc.) and these guys were by far the best. They matched the color of existing floors nicely, including one patch area within 100 year old oak that has a much richer color than new oak. Downstairs, we opted for an extra coat of varnish, since the area includes our kitchen. If I had it to do over again, I would forego the extra coat. It costed extra, and now that its all done and in use, I realize that the standard seal upstairs is plenty sufficient. Furthermore, the additional coat increased the "basketball court" / "smooth shell" look of the floor a bit, which is not what we like in our old home - we like to see the texture of the oak grain more. Also, a couple minor "puddles" appeared in the floor after the final, additional coat downstairs. The puddles are out of the way, and I didn't notice them for a while. There are no puddles upstairs where we have the standard number of coats - perhaps a coincidence, or perhaps a consequence of non-standard application of an additional coat. So, I recommend Clark's Hardwood Floors for hardwood floor finishing. I would hire them for install also, but I only have personal experience with their finishing. Forego the additional seal coat.

Third time we have used Clark Hardwood Floor and will use them again.

The entire process was wonderful, the best I have had with any of the remodeling we have done on our house. They were prompt with the estimate, delivery of the product, installation, and refinishing. Their dust free system is also incredible, there was almost no dust from the sanding. They arrived exactly when they said they would, completed the work efficiently, and were very professional throughout the entire process. Our floors look amazing.

The 2 man crew was prompt and professional, efficient, polite and responsive to questions and requests. The salesperson somewhat underestimated the cost of needed repair so the final bill was a little higher than expected, but it was fair. The end-result is beautiful and we are very pleased. The dust was well-controlled and the Bona finish dries quickly so we were able to carefully walk over it at the end of the day which was greatly reduced our inconvenience. This was the second time we have used this company and we were happy both times.

Great! Overall, experience was very positive. The only suggestion I would make is, for the scheduler to keep the customer appraised of daily progress and next day plans since it was a multiple day project.

They were very professional. They gave us a quote on oil based finishing and gave us information about that, but their quote was substantially more than the contractor we decided to go with.

The job went very well. Like in painting, I imagine that surface preparation has everything to do with the final quality and they took the time to do it right. One nice feature is that they came out the Friday before the week of the refinishing, sanded down a small spot illuminated internal and various angles of sun throughout the day, then applied 3 different stain patches so we could pick the one we wanted and make sure we liked it over the weekend. The overall job lasted 5 days and we allowed it to cure for an additional week before we moved back in (hint: find some fun friends to stay with like we did and the time away from home flies by....). I think the real compliment comes from our painting and doors contractor (who also refinishes floors) who said "They did a really good job" when he came over to finish the touch-up.

The experience was better than I had expected. I contacted Clark's Hardwood Floor based off seeing them on Angie's list. The initial call was very positive, answered my questions and a person to quote the job was there within a few days and on-time. The quote was competitive, prompt and detailed. All the services were quoted in detail with a worse case scenario - so I knew there would be no surprises once I received the bill. They worked within my schedule and were able to fit me in which was much appreciated as other companies were quoting a 3 to 4 week leadtime. Their crew showed-up on time, professional, easy to work with and did an excellent job. They were able to fix all the damage and changed out boards as needed. Their atomic dust free system left the house free from dust! I would highly recommend them as their sales force, workers and office were very professional and easy to work with and the end result was amazing.

They hit some "snags" in removing finish on existing hardwood. Other "challenges" met but handled it with professionalism!

We have used them before. They did a great job. The quality of work and the quality of customer service is amazing. They are pleasant, personable, and professional. The prices are reasonable and they did exactly what we expected.

They started and finished on time, but had to be called back do install missing finishing pieces. After the job was completed the new flooring area started to warp. The salesman said this was a natural occurrence on any flooring of this type even though the original flooring was not having this type of problem. Also the older area was not cleaned well around the edges and they applied finish over dust and carpet threads that had been left behind.

We had used Clark's Hardwood Floors for the original installation. They were great so we called them for refinishing. They did good work, gave good price and were on time.

We had a very good experience, excellent customer service and quality work. We had a unique schedule that required a prolonged gap in time between installation, sanding and finish which they accommodated to with incredible flexibility.The crew was very professional and hardworking but also very friendly and responsive. We would ask for their recommendations from color to various touches. They definitely understood what we were looking for, we couldn't be happier with the results.

Excellent! From the first estimate appointment to the 4th day of job completion all employees were on time, worked the whole time, and refinished 50 year old floors to look like new. They were even able to sand the parquet flooring in very well.
