CAL'S GARAGE DOORS

Everything went as planned. The worker came in the early part of the time slot and removed the old door and the old door tracks. He installed new tracks, new springs, the new steel 4-panel roll-up door, and moved my garage door opener to be properly aligned with the new door. Everything fit and operated as expected. After the work, clean-up thorough. At that point I made final payment.

They were wonderful to work with and readjusted the door a bit. We have used their service about 20 years ago.

Garage door is now opening and closing properly.

Our garage door controller stopped working over the weekend. Thankfully, the garage door was closed shut. I called Cal's garage on Monday morning and he promptly sent a person that day. Keith showed up at the promised time. The fix (replacing the plastic gears on the controller) was done quickly and at a reasonable price.

The process was mostly excellent. Manager Dave came over for a look and we had a good discussion of my options and he left me some materials. He promptly emailed me an estimate, which I accepted. Installers Mark and Ruben arrived on the scheduled day, but the arrival time had been left a bit vague, which turned out to be a slight inconvenience. I'd been told to expect them 'around 10am' but I should have asked for more specificity. I rose early to clear out the garage, but by 10:40 no one had shown up. So I called up and was told the guys were running late. This is common enough, but Cal's needs to inform customers of any delays as a courtesy. When Mark and Ruben did arrive, they were very professional and friendly, and their work was excellent.

I hired them to come out and lubricate the rollers. They arrived on time and were professional. Later my garage would not open due to gears breaking on my garage door opener that was very old. They came out almost immediately and was able to repair the opener rather than charging for a new one. I really appreciated this. I would recommend this company.

I had contacted the service provider that installed the door and received no reply. I went to Angie's list and narrowed my choice to two companies in my location. The first company I kept playing phone tag with and never could get someone after 5 pm. In contacting Cal's I got a response within one day. I shared my story and got a Saturday appointment. The young man came on time, did the repair, maintenance the door. Before he left he checked the door to make sure it worked well. He noticed that it would not go down every time. (I had been dealing with this for a long time) he tightened the screws on the roller bar and adjusted the sensors. The door works as good as the the day it was put up. I had the young man remove the prior sticker on my garage door and now it has Cal's Garage Door. Sticker on it!

I think that the company did a great job. They are fair in their prices and showed up when they said they would. They did not have a part that they needed to fix the problem, and left to get it and came right back in a timely fashion. I think it is an excellent company and would highly recommend them.

I called in the morning. Someone was out by 3:00 PM. He understood the problem. Fixed it. And then proceeded, unasked, to tune the door. Great job.

They arrived within one hour of my first call and performed the work for the quoted price.

Dave (manager) was very helpful in helping us pick out our replacement garage doors for our 63 year old home and was very willing to negotiate to help us keep costs down while not compromising quality (I shopped around and figure we saved 10-20% over their competition). They came to our home on time as scheduled to measure, and being an old home, the installation required quite a bit of customizing. On the day of installation they were here on time as scheduled, were polite, did a great job, cleaned up thoroughly, and answered all my questions. This was a great experience from top to bottom and the doors look and work great, really dressing up our older home. I highly recommend Cal's Garage Doors.

THEY ORDERED THE PART AND REPLACED IT IN A TIMELY MANNER AND KEPT UP GOOD COMMUNICATIONS THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.

Barry came out for the estimate right on time. Then when the garage door came in, he was able to schedule the work around my schedule. The installer, Rob, was excellent, working steadily and even through lunch in order to finish the job. He was very proficient, first taking down the old door and then carefully installing the new one, all by himself. After the work was done, he left everything as clean as when he started.

Received quote from the office. The installer came on time and called ahead to confirm his schedule. Replacement took about 1 1/2 hours and completed satisfactorily. Installer was pleasant.

Arrived right at the promised time. Diagnosed correctly within minutes. Performed work independently. In a clean way, didn't leave any trash. Courteous service.

Service was prompt and fixed the problem.

The response was good and on time. Repairman pleasant and efficient. I requested a repair or replacement door depending on what was needed and they just repaired the door.

DURING MY INITIAL SERVICE CALL, THE REPAIRMAN FIXED SEVERAL BROKEN HINGES ON MY EXISTING DOOR SO IT WAS OPERATIONAL UNTIL MY NEW DOOR ARRIVED. HE ALSO LET ME KNOW THAT THE LOWER WEIGHT OPENER WE HAD WAS A POTENTIAL PROBLEM and HE SUGGESTED REPLACING IT WITH A MORE POWERFUL ONE- A RECOMMENDATION WHICH I KNEW TO BE CORRECT.

FRIENDLY PHONE OPERATOR, APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED AND REPAIRMAN CAME IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED QUICKLY AND INEXPENSIVELY. REPAIRMAN WAS PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE QUICK IN RESPONDING TO MY REQUEST. THEY ALSO COMPLETED THE JOB IN A SHORT TIME. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND REPAIRED THE DOOR QUICKLY. THEIR COMPANY WAS MOST RESPONSIVE AFTER CALLING 2 OTHERS IN THE AREA THAT COULD NOT COME OUT TO REPAIR THE DOOR THE SAME DAY.
