+ -1 moreJosie does a great, reliable job. We first hired her to "recover" the pool that had been overrun by algae. She quickly brought it under control, and has maintained our pool for the last 2 years. When I think of the price of chemicals, and all the time I spent trying to keep the pool under control (and often failed, thus having to dump a bunch more chemicals in), Buck's is definitely the way to go. We have a pool sweep, so we get a lower price because they don't scrub the pool.
Description of Work: Weekly pool service, includes chemical testing, cleaning of sweep and skimmer basket, and addition of chemicals.

+ -1 moreJosie does an excellent job. She pays attention to detail, advises us if any repairs need to be done and is always very pleasant. We are very comfortable that our pool is in good hands.
Description of Work: We contacted Josie to come and take a look at our pool as it needed a thorough cleaning. She replied very promptly, came by and gave us a rate for the initial cleaning and monthly service.

+ -1 moreShe did a great job quickly restoring the pool to a pristine condition, and now maintains our pool on a weekly basis. Because we have a pool sweep, our monthly rate is slightly less than if we did not. Josie also is great a pool repairs and non-standard maintenance, and her prices for those services are essential equipment cost. Great deal.

+ -1 moreThe pool was completely green and just growth. I hired her to come out and do a real big clean up. She got it totally cleaned up for me. I hired her to do a once-a-week service. She does a great job. Her prices are more than fair. It costs me $125 a month which includes the chemicals. When I have a problem or anything, I can call her and she will get right back to me. She is very good about returning calls and dealing with equipment. She does a really nice job.
Description of Work: Buck's Pool and Spa cleaned up my pool in February. Now, she comes once a week to clean the pool.

+ -1 moreShe got my pool ready to use, and keeps it in fantastic condition. I am extremely happy with her service. I pay about $105.00 @ month and she comes every week.
Description of Work: I bought a house with a pool. I did not know how to care for the pool, and it turned into a green swamp. I took samples of pool water to Leslie's Pool Supply, but there was a problem with my pump. In desperation, I called Buck's pool & spa serivce after reading about it on Angie's list. Josie came out on a Saturday, put some chemicals into the pool, did some work, told me I needed a new pump & called around and got me the best deal on one. She is fantastic. She repairs things, and her charges are very reasonable. Really, it is like having a family member working in my backyard. She is prompt, courteous and really really good at this.

+ -1 moreOur pool had not been cleaned for a year and was taken over by algae. The work was hindered by the small size of the filter which would clog after just a few minutes of vacuuming. They came two days the first and second weeks and cleaned the filter and vacuum multiple times each day. They were prompt and considerate about cleaning up the job site. We plan to use them on a regular basis to maintain the pool.
Description of Work: Cleaned out pool which required adding chemicals to kill algae, vacuuming and cleaning filter (multiple times), and restoring water to safe levels for swimming.

SHE ALWAYS OFFERS TO PICK UP ITEMS FOR US AT THE POOL STORE WHEN NEEDED(LIKE SPA COVER CLEANER). SHE'S NOT THE CHEAPEST POOL PERSON YOU WILL FIND, BUT I NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY POOL OR SPA WITH THEM BEING IN HER HANDS! SHE'S GREAT WITH OUR DOGS, TOO! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER SERVICE.
Description of Work: KEEPS POOL CLEAN AND EQUIPMENT RUNNING PROPERLY. DOES TROUBLE SHOOTING IF NOTICES A PROBLEM, LETS US KNOW ABOUT IT AND SUGGESTS WAYS OF FIXING IT OURSELVES OR SHE WILL DO IT ON OUR REQUEST. ALOS WORKS ON THE SPA WEEKLY FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE.
