This is the 3rd time we've ordered from Argonaut windows. My wife and I were helped right away as it is better to go during the week vs. the weekend. We needed rough openings for our contractor and Argonaut was happy to oblige. There are a lot of options when ordering windows and our salesperson was experienced and wrote up our estimate. We went back another time to actually order and pay for the windows. When the windows arrived we were not ready to receive them and Argonaut said it was no problem to store them until we were ready ( at no charge). Some places charge for storage after a certain time period. Everything went smoothly except for one thing, that is why we did not give out all A's. When the windows were delivered, the sliding door hardware was missing. Argonaut was aware of this but after 2 weeks and no hardware, we called Argonaut. My husband felt they should have followed up on their own to get us our hardware and we shouldn't have to call. I talked to someone (not our salesperson) and demanded our hardware so we could lock the sliding door. It was a Saturday so the person explained he would get back to us on Monday. That person was quite prompt and Argonaut called and said they would deliver the hardware to us on Monday. Kudos to that person we talked to. A couple days later our original salesperson called to ask if we had gotten the hardware. A little too late, if you ask me.

I would highly recommend them. They helped me on my decision on windows. Justin and Dan particularly were very knowledgeable. They really work hard with us and they had great opinions with my deal. They were outstanding so we decided to go to them even though they don't have a cheap price. Their price was worth the quality of their work. They also had wonderful selections and all were branded products.

The work went on good. I’m very satisfied. I liked the window product. They were always on time. They came in as planned. They were little of on the timing, as there was a lot of rain. They took a week to finish the work. There weren’t any unnecessary delays. They explained me about the different features of windows that I was considering. They did a good work on the windows. The only complain I have is that; they splashed a whole lot of shrubs on the windows and in the course of doing that, they were stuck over. I would recommend them. Their price was fairly reasonable. I did not shop around. I would use them in the future.

Estimates were quick and professional. Work crews always arrived on time and were very, very careful. The crew chief Jessie was friendly and always let me know next steps. They meticulously covered everything to keep the dust out. The work went quickly - took about a week - and the crew seemed as happy with the job as I did. Building inspections were also smooth with the inspector commenting on how well the work was done. Cleanup was pretty thorough. The only little detail- stucco replacement crew accidentally broke the handle on an outdoor water faucet and forgot to replace an outside light. Took a few weeks to get that sorted, but they came through and all is well now. This was a really large job and they did very high-quality work. The Milguard windows they installed look incredible and I've already noticed a difference - less sound, less dust, A/C runs less!

The purchase experience was excellent. Justin was a very knowledgable, detail-oriented, and professional salesman. Purchase process was smooth up through the window rough opening measurement phase. After we ordered the windows, the lead time estimate to my contractor became difficult because Justin did not return my calls on this subject. When we did find out the ETA of the windows, it was about 2 weeks later than we had been lead to believe during the purchase process. This created delays in my remodel project. The correct windows arrived on the ETA; there were no basic mistakes in the order. All the windows fit in the rough openings of the house and opened in the correct orientation. This is the most important thing. After the windows got installed by my contractor, we noticed that the finger pulls for the top sash of the double-hung windows were missing. Milgard told us that the finger pulls should have been ordered by Argonaut. When we contacted Argonaut we had to call back several times because they rarely returned my calls on this issue. When I did speak to them, they made it easy to buy the finger pulls but they wanted to charge $25/window to install 2 pulls on each window of the house. I thought that they should have installed the pulls for free because we made it very clear to Justin during the initial purchase that we fully intended to use the top sash of our windows every day for ventilation in a home with no air conditioning. We discussed that it was difficult to operate the upper sash without the pulls. He should have told us that we needed to buy finger pulls; they are an option. The finger pulls should have been ordered and installed in the factory. I received the finger pulls as ordered, Argonaut never returned my call about installation, so I called Milgard and got the installation instructions myself. I didn't feel like contacting Argonaut again on this issue so I installed the finger pulls myself. In summary, the purchase process was smooth, but Argonaut didn't follow up with ETA information and missing parts, they didn't offer to help when the missing parts problem arose, and I had to come up with a practical solution to the missing parts on my own.

The quality of the windows themselves is just great, however the installers screwed up. They installed the incorrect size of windows on an entire level of my home. My husband did all of repairs to the wall and stripped all of the existing wallpaper that they messed up. We went out and found more wallpaper and hired a wallpapering specialist to come out and repair everything. Because the screw up was their fault they ended up having to pay for more wallpaper and a specialist to come out and install it. The installation made a huge impact on the comfort of the home. I have been very pleased with the quality of the windows, however the installation issues were a hassle. I would never use them again in the future.

Argonaut was fantastic! Justin Ford was the rep. we worked with at the store; he is very professional and knowledgeable. After Argonaut came out to measure our windows, it took us a few months to make the final decision on what we wanted (Justin helped us through the entire process, with ideas/recommendations on what might work best for us). Argonaut came out a second time before the final order was placed to do a final remeasurement. The windows took about 6 weeks from final order date to install date. The installers (Phil/Jesse, mainly) were excellent, on time, at the job site every day until it was completed, neat/tidy, and very easy to have around. I would highly recommend Argonaut!

We contracted with Argonaut before joining Angie's List and the reports on them gave us some concerns. Salesman Steve Robison and owner Marty Ettema made a special visit to respond to our questions and explain their operation. The work crews (both the installation and stucco teams) were punctual and professional and did excellent work. When I was unhappy with the operation of the patio door lock during final walk-through they spent another 20 minutes re-positioning the lock until it worked smoothly to my satisfaction. Our biggest complaint was that all the hardware to bedroom window treatments was thrown away and, although the crew conscientiously draped the area with plastic, there were a few drips on the carpet and a lamp shade received minor damage. These minor glitches are the main factor in dropping their overall grade from an A to a B.

The quoting went well. Wayne, from Argonaut, was prompt and took time to walk me through all the steps. However, the installation process was terrible. They rescheduled me three times, two of which, they forgot to call me to let me know. I ended up taking 3 mornings off of work waiting for them. Once the installation began, things went pretty smoothly, until the guy who was working on my job decided to leave the company in the middle of my job. Apparently he did not tell anybody else that he was not finished, so the job sat half done for another week and a half until I could have somebody come out again. (This is after multiple calls to try and get somebody out). One of the new windows that they installed is cracked, and the sliding door has scratches all over it. Not a very professional installation job. I thought I was paying a little more to have it done right. I guess not. I am still waiting for them to replace the cracked window.

What was sold to me as a 1 week job took over 3 months from start to finish. There were delays due to poor planning throughout the project and not having essential items in stock when they were needed. My phone calls with questions and requests for status updates were often left unreturned. Throughout the project, there were over 5 different work crews which lead to inconsistent quality and a lack of accountability. The workmanship was sometimes spotty and required return visits to be done correctly. The overall experience was very time consuming and frustrating. Not recommended.

They worked quickly and got it done in 3 days. They were very professional. Answered all my questions. We did run into some issues with the door being hard to close but the service technician and installation manager came out and resolved it. They took their time and made sure to get it right which impressed me.

Excellent service and price compared with Home Depot, and Abel Glass with free local delivery. I'm extremely happy with Shannon Bergman from Argonaut. Highly recommend.

This company uses Anderson windows. They also do custom work. They have a real good team working for them. They are very professional. I have used this company several times in the past. They have a very nice show room.

THE RESULTS WAS OUTSTANDING, ALTHOUGH THAT WAS CERTAINLY A LOT OF TROUBLE ALONG THE WAY. WE HAD SOME VERY LARGE, CUSTOM WINDOWS THAT WERE NOT EASY AND REQUIRED MULTIPLE TEAMS TO COME OUT AND RE-INSTALL AND ADJUST. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DURING THE INSTALLATION WAS GOOD. BECAUSE THE JOB TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS WE WENT THROUGH MULTIPLE WORK TEAMS WHICH CREATES A PROBLEM WITH CONTINUITY. SUBSEQUENT CALLS TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAVE BEEN HIT-AND MISS. SOME PROBLEMS REQUIRED MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS BEFORE A PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. THE JOB STARTED ON TIME AS SCHEDULED MONTHS BEFORE (LEAD TIME FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF THE WINDOWS).

THEY WERE RECOMMENDED BY ANOTHER WINDOW/DOOR COMPANY. THEY PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL WORKMEN TO COMPLETE THE JOB PROPERLY. THEY WERE CAREFUL DURING THE JOB TO PROTECT THE AREA AROUND THE WORK SITE AND CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY AFTER THE JOB.

WORKMANSHIP WAS GOOD. CARPENTERS WERE OCCASIONALLY GRUMPY AND UNRESPONSIVE.
