Experience with Tony the estimator and later Cuinn the owner was poor. Tony when visiting our house mentioned he would write up the options so we can decide. But later when enquiring through email he said we need to choose option first to get quote. We went with their recommended option of installing hvac on roof but Tony was blunt to reply that we need to contact an engineer and get form 24 approved. This was pretty blunt and at this point we were not sure if they were interested in the project. His follow up to the questions were also vague. At this point we decided to move ahead with other contractors. This review is for the initial quote and not for the work. We had really poor experience and wrote it on Yelp. Their owner Cuinn emailed immediately defending Tony's response and finally telling us they would not want to work with us unless we remove the review on Yelp. When we did not budge they said they refuse to work with us I would like to call out their unprofessional/aggressive behavior where Cuinn again threatened me this morning that they are going to write a review in contractor site. I am fine with that but I still stand by my review. I regret choosing them when there are many professional and humble contractors. I hope they stop nagging us.

Ricardo, the HVAC technician from American HVAC, was great! He gave a call ahead to narrow down a time that he would be arriving. Once he arrived, he was both very professional and personable. After explaining the issue, he exhibited knowledge of the HVAC system and was confident of the root cause and fixed it. Additionally, he assured me that if the issue was not resolved, he would cover the work under service warranty. I ran the AC the rest of the day to ensure the leak was resolved. All in all, great experience with Ricardo!

I found this company on Yelp, and after dealing with Cuinn (Quinn), I simply had to share my find. I cannot say enough good things about how he runs his operation: He was always on time, he actually returns phone calls the same day you leave voicemail, he's honest about his work and has no problem telling customers that certain expenses are not necessary, and he knows what he's talking about. After having our (ancient) a/c units at work serviced with the same company for 4 years, my boss was tired of them always breaking down, so I found Cuinn. He diagnosed the issues immediately, gave us options for how to fix them, and set up an appointment to complete the work right away. His level of customer service mirrors his knowledge base, and the fact that he is great to work with is a stellar bonus. HVAC problems? Call Cuinn.
