Fantastic service. Dave is just a super nice guy to talk to and to work with. He did everything I needed him to and his rates are very, very reasonable. I'd definitely use him again and recommend him to all my friends.

Dave came out about a month ago to troubleshoot why a dimmer switch was flickering. I thought the dimmer needed to be replaced but after running some tests, he showed me that the dimmer switch was working correctly but the 20 year old light fixture was the problem. He said it was not urgent to fix. I called him after I purchased a new fixture and we made an appointment and he showed up on time, got right to work and I paid him for 1 hour of work even though he offered to give me a discount because it did not take an hour. I know hes small company and I like to support good work.

He came and did what I needed at the price he quoted. He offered to do some extra work to make the job better at no additional cost. Great experience.

Came back a third time when we were having problems with a switch. Did not charge this time. Was very thorough explaining what needed to be done and possible problems. Was very specific about charges and tried to save us money by using materials we already had.

I have used Alan Electric in the past and have been satisfied with the work. So, when the electrician that my real estate agent normally uses couldn't even be bothered to call us back, I called Alan Electric again. The response was quick and courteous and Dave spent quite a bit of time on the phone discussing the issue with me. We scheduled an appointment and he showed up on time, verified the scope of the work and confirmed his estimate for the job. After I gave the okay he went and got some parts that he needed and then did the work. It took less than one hour total. Dave did a great job and patiently explained everything to the new owner too so that he felt comfortable that there would be no risk or degradation in service to the home.

It was an excellent experience. Dave came by to give an estimate. It was significantly less expensive than the one other bid I received. I called him that night to hire him and we scheduled a time the next week. The day of the work, he arrived and was friendly and efficient. He completed the job just as promised and the results were great. My dishwasher and garbage disposal work perfectly. I appreciate that he charged me exactly what he estimated the cost of the job to be.

Repaired and installed light and wall fixtures. Checked and made valuable recommendations on questionable electrical. Saved us money on repairs that were unnecessary!

I am pretty handy at this stuff but gave up and called Dave. He worked through the problem systematically and solved the mystery. We have used Dave before and will continue to do so. Good guy.
