Description of Work: Simple electrical issue with the ceiling lights and the switch fixed. Alan seemed very knowledgeable and professional. A lot of years of experience as an electrician, I felt that he knew what he was talking about.

Description of Work: I called Alan Electric this past Sunday afternoon. I didn't expect to receive a call back until Monday. However, I didn't receive a call back until Tuesday afternoon. When Dave caledl me back, all he could tell me was he was so busy, his reason for the call was to simply let me know he got the message. He went on to say he couldn't give me a time when he could schedule or even make a phone call back to discuss my situation in further detail. I can only assume (by reviews) Alan Electric does a good job however currently, Dave appears to have more than enough business for him to handle. Please do not take this as a knock on Alan Electric in any way however, however If you are in need of immediate service, I may suggest seeking out another company rather than leave a message and waiting for return call.

Description of Work: Pool pump repair. Repair fluorescent fixtures.

Description of Work: I called Alan Electric on Christmas Eve because our daughter (and tenant) bathroom light fixture smelled smokey. Dave Nagel, the owner, came out the day after Christmas, checked that light fixture, and the wiring in several other places in the building, and advised us there was no smoke detector in the unit. He discussed the situation with our daughter and then took the time to call me and explain things also. I will certainly call Dave again for other electric problems and recommend his company heartily. His rate was a very reasonable $75.

Description of Work: Installed 8 can lights, 3 dimmers, and re-routed a switch.

Description of Work: He did a complete check of the lighting system, determined the dimmers were bad, purchased new dimers and installed them in about 1 hour time.

Description of Work: Dave came out and installed 2 dusk to dawn lights and a motion sensor light. He also replaced a couple of light fixtures and changed all the switches in the house. Very nice, friendly, and easy to work with. He is efficient, and knows his stuff. Since he seems like a 1 person operation, you may have to leave a voice message, but he always calls back. I will use him for other electrical needs. Highly recommended.
