He was good; he got the job done when he said he was going to, and he looks good.

The work was very sloppy and concrete is not level and the drainage is not correct. And I will have to redo the work.

I wished he had followed up with me in a timely manner.

Very rude,disrespectful and I would not recommend him

Excellent job! Dave had great ideas and helped us tremendously to get the design we desired. HIS IDEAS definitely made the project turn out even better than we expected. We now have 2 wonderful additions to our garden area. A BEAUTIFUL concrete slab which we needed & decided to do after he started on our original requested project. We liked what he did, and his team, so we decided to ask him to do a second project. We couldn't be happier, and would definitely recommend him and hire him for another project. AND, he's very professional, easy to work with, and a great guy.

Dave and his crew did a huge job on my property. Dave was very knowledgeable and his crew was excellent The work was done with great craftsmanship and Dave has an artistic eye for quality. He was always happy to go the extra mile to make things perfect.

I gave David Wagner two stars initially for his poor communication skills. I told him on a number of occasions that i wanted him to seal my pavers. This was PRIOR to his giving me a quote. I paid on time. Total $8,200. yet at the very end he wanted to charge me extra for the sealing. he told me the sealing was not in the quote because as he said originally, no one had ever asked him to do that. I told him that was not an excuse. Other problems: He took out an already existing drain even though he did not ask and its existence did not have any negative effect on the work he was doing. I kindly but firmly asked that he re-install it. He thought that was argumentative. His workmen cracked part of my vinyl fence in the spot that they were digging. When i brought that up to him at the end, and mentioned that the crack had not been there prior, his comment was "that's what YOU say." Implying that i was lying. His suggestion for repair was to put some type of tape over the crack. what a quality approach. He skimped in obvious ways: 1. brought in top soil that was inferior. My wife hauled away 12 bucketful’s of large rocks and hunks of concrete and tar. 2. He did not bury the vinyl tubing that was the new irrigation system. When i asked him about it i was told that burying was not how he bid it. That was news to me. He spaced the low flow sprinkler heads every three to four feet even though the manufacturer’s website says the spacing should always be between 12" to 18." So now i have to pay a gardener extra to install the needed amount of sprinkler heads. 3. Also, the website and an arborist that i consulted with, said the sprinklers should be set up head to head; two rows of sprinkler heads facing each other. I have to pay a gardener install the correct amount of sprinkler heads. He left large broken patio steps saying that he did not know what we wanted to keep. i told him that we did not want them, he said he would get them out and then promptly left without taking them. I was happy that the job was completed, no matter how badly and I could get rid of David. David became moody when i did not accept everything that he suggested. From that standpoint i found him completely unsatisfactory to deal with. THIS WAS ADDED A FEW MONTHS LATER: I am changing my star rating from 2 to 1/2. I tried to make it 1/4 but that doesn't seem to work. I mentioned in the first review that the quality of the "new top soil" that David brought in was so poor that my wife carted out 12 bucketful’s of large 3" to 4" stones and broken concrete and tar. Since then ALL of our new plants have died, hundreds of dollars’ worth. we brought in an arborist (From Treescapes) and also went to a quality local nursery (Nordic). They both told us that the topsoil was so contaminated with toxins that was in it that we need to wait "at least 6 months until the soil gasses off" before we bring in more plants. Mind was a small repair job, but he still treated as being important, because it was to me. His crew did an excellent job, very happy.
