My 12-year-old water heater was on its way out, and it was finally time to replace it. I’ve always wanted to go tankless, so after many hours of research and finding reputable local plumbers in my area, I reached out to the Water Heater Company to analyze my current situation and come up with a replacement solution. Again, my goal was to go tankless; however, after Tanner from The Water Heather company surveyed my property and went over all my options, it was determined the configuration of my main gas line and proper placement of the unit would not be conducive to install a tankless unit as there were many obstacles, hours of labor, and resorting back to a tank heater would be the best option for me. Tanner suggested I go with a company called Bradford White, which has fantastic reviews and a unit that will give me some longevity. I decided to have Tanner install the unit, which included all-new copper fittings and much more. This company knows water heaters, and I appreciate his honesty that he could install a tankless heater, but financially, the layout of my house would not be in my best interest. Therefore, I felt comfortable working with The Water Heater Company to install my new Bradford White gas tank water heater. Tanner was highly professional, cleaned up after the job, and went through everything he did installing my new tank. I highly recommend anybody looking for a tankless or tank water heater contact the Water Heater Company, and if you’re lucky enough, Tanner will be your technician.

Technician showed up on time. I was kept informed of his location and his projected arrival time. Communication with the technician and the company was excellent. The technician was polite, professional and efficient. Advised me of my options. Explained process. Helped me to provide access to the water heater area--he even disconnected reconnected my gas dryer. He checked to make sure everything was working properly before completing the job and that all new installation requirements were met.

Marc was fantastic. He told us everything that was going to happen. He was thorough, friendly and he liked our cats. And he explained all that had transpired when he was done. Plus he showed us how to shut off the gas and water on the heater itself. He is a keeper.

My current 10-year 7-month-old water heater from Bradford White developed some issues with the control panel. The cost of repairing the control panel versus a new water heater was a no-brainer. This review is for a job done a few months ago. The workmanship was great, but the attempts to up-charge were a bit ridiculous. We needed a new water heater, and the tech gave us the typical salesy pitch. The heater itself has a 10 year warranty but the guy gave us options for a labor warranty, with the highest price at over $5,000. Then he gave lower options and so on & so on. Typical sales pitch: Start with an insanely high number and then give lower options so the lowest option doesn’t seem so bad…But the lowest option was approx. $3,400 — which is crazy for a water heater replacement! We passed on the service until the tech came back and said he talked to his boss and they’d do the whole job for $2,500. He was insistent that we use their service before getting other quotes because he was “confident you won’t find a better deal anywhere else.” Given the workmanship and the fact that he supposedly upgraded everything to code, I would say that $2,500 was a fair price for the 3 hour job. However, I didn’t appreciate the salesy strategy and the fact that we had to basically keep saying “No” for him to give us the fair price.

Fantastic service! We have a 13 year old tankless water heater that stopped producing hot water and were afraid of it needed to be replaced. Brian came on time and was able to fix the problem by checking all the keys elements of the unit. They also gave us an estimate in case we were interested with a replacement unit but without any pressure. They were very professional, tidy, and I would definitely recommend them!

I’m totally happy I chose this company to replace my 17 year old gas water heater. Their tech Evan was at my place within 2 hours, and then 3 hours later he was all done removing the old, dead device and installing, testing and explaining my new appliance. He was upfront and reasonable with their pricing, gave me several options at different price points to choose from, and then got right to work. Evan clearly knew what he was doing, answered all my questions and concerns, worked quickly and cleaned everything up when done. When testing the new system, he discovered a pinhole leak in my existing pipe which he was able to cut out and then reattached all the connections AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! It’s never fun to have these unexpected, expensive and messy emergencies happen at home, but The Water Heater Company solved my problem fast, and did exactly what they promised! Because they are water heater specialist, they were able to point out issues with our plumbing system that may have affected the longevity of our new water heater. Our service tech, Brian, was very thorough. He did a very good job.

Excellent service and quality of work!

Once again, The Water Heater Company goes above and beyond! They had installed our WH in 2020, and did amazing work to bring everything to code and make it safe and nice looking. We had a few days over the last few months where the pilot light would go out. We'd relight it, all was fine. Finally we made the call. Zak arrived the same day, and after the gas company verified we WERE getting gas, Zak was able to change out the parts that were bad. So far, so hot!

Marc W did an amazing job! Professional, personable, and thorough. Took the time to properly troubleshoot and diagnose the issue with our recirculating pump and rule out other potential problems. Recommended a fix and got the job done quickly! 10/10 would hire again. Thanks!
