Arman Nikoi was the company’s owner and salesperson. He responded the same day I made the inquiry. Came by to assess and measure square footage, about 1,000 sf.. gave me written estimate by email. Answered questions including satisfactory explanation of bad review he received. Workers and Arman appeared on scheduled day. Arman introduced me to Sergio who was independent contractor. He had a helper. Sergio explained work schedule and what to expect. First day was preparation: putting plastic sheeting fixing with blue masking tape over all wall hangings, cabinets and appliances, removing most furniture to other rooms and garage-Sergio took photos of all furniture placements. We stayed upstairs and did not use kitchen which had been sanded, rest of house buffed-dinner out. Second day they applied whatever they use to seal and shine the floors, maybe the same thing. Used equipment that left no appreciable dust. Left house for day because of odor and need to allow floors to dry. Had given Sergio garage door opener to exit and lock. Third day, Sergio and worker returned to complete removal of plastic and blue masking tape. They also returned all furniture to where they were using photos as a guide. Pointed out 5-6 locations where removal of blue masking tape pulled off paint. Sergio said masking tape pulling off paint happens when surface not sanded properly before applying paint. Later, Arman adjusted the cost by subtracting $100. Re-painting by my long-time painter cost $350. overall, Arman did a very good job because work takes a lot of handholding and he did gently and we’ll.
