I used Shawn and Major D Clutter to install new storage cabinets and epoxy my garage floor. On our initial meeting he was cordial and punctual. He was always available to discuss the project when it was in progress, until I started asking questions about a refund we agreed upon (more about that later). The time came to do our garage flooring and it was raining that day. Later I would find out from one of his installers that rainy, humid conditions are the worse time you can do this epoxy work as the top coat dries quickly. While my garage looks pretty good, the top coat is very heavy in sections where you can see where the rollers stopped. Even Shawn said, "it should look better than this". He offered to have his crew come back and try to fix the issue, which I agreed to, but it basically looks the same. The only true way to make the surface look perfectly even would to have to started from scratch. Regardless, I'm okay with it, but it's not the quality I expected and wanted for paying top dollar. But hey, it's a garage, right? When my cabinets were delivered and installed, I later examined them and found water damage on all of the doors, and also noticed that one of the cabinets wasn't securely attached to the wall. When I asked about the water damage, Shawn said, "yeah, it's possible they were in the rain for a time". He agreed to replace the doors and was true to his word. His crew also secured the loose cabinet. Why you would carry particle board-based cabinets in the rain is beyond me. Regardless it got fixed and I'm happy with the cabinets. When Shawn came back to my place to re-examine the floor again he again said, "it should look better than this." I was very clear that maybe my expectations were too high, and if this is what they all look like, then fine. He also said he could have his crew back a third time, but I was done with trying to fix it. We agreed instead to take a $200 refund of the $3,400 I spent with him to settle the matter. He never provided the payment he promised to, and won't return calls or emails at this point. So I guess I'll never get the refund I was expecting. The low review is reflective of a.) Shawn's not living up to our agreement, and b.) the quality of work. ---- Update 5/18/15 The trim pieces on our cabinet doors are now falling off, and I'm forced to reglue them. Changed quality from C to D. ---- Update 9/2/15 Wall mounted cabinets are separating from the wall. Changed from D to F. MAJOR D FAIL

Sean & his team were great! The epoxy flake floor is beautiful! Sean was always available to answer questions & work with our construction schedule.

They did a very good job. They showed up on time. The three guys worked very hard and were thoughtful. They were convenient, efficient, and quick. They had good ideas on storage problems. You can either donate to charity or sell on E-Bay the things that you don't want.

The project went smoothly from start to finish and we are very happy with the finished product. From the outset Sean spent time with us designing the garage layout. His suggestions and ideas were very valuable and made the final product far superior to what we would have achieved by ourselves. The pricing/quote was very straightforward and fair, there were no surprises or things being left out and ending up as 'additional'extras'. The project was done in the timeframe set out, Sean's team were professional and did a great job. Sean suggested two minor changes along the way (slight reposition of racks and a change of cabinet hardware) which made a major difference to practicality and final appearane. Attention to detail was excellent, Sean is very 'picky' and holds his guys to high standards of workmanship - the epoxy floor is a work of art. Would have no hesitation using Major D Clutter again and can totally recommend Seans serivces, he is very focused on ensuring his customers are 110% satisfied.

The experience was excellent. It was a birthday present for my husband. We were real pleased with it. The price didn't include the floor. They went above and beyond. They took everything off the walls and moved everything out and put it on tables. They cleaned it all and put up shelving that was way up above and didn't interfere with parking cars. They also did the outside of the garage door too, which was very nice. The price was medium. We would absolutely use them again.

I met Shawn at the Conejo Valley Home show and immediately knew the Monkeybar storage system was what I needed for our new home. Spoke to Sean about the costs which seemed reasonable so we went ahead with the purchase. Sean was very responsive and worked to accommodate our schedule. Installation took aut about half a day which was not long considering the amount of shelving he installed. We love they system and woould recommend it to anyone considering something similar. I shopped many options and this by far is better than most. Sean was extremely professional and would suggest reaching out to him if you are in the market.

Sean is a very personable fellow. He did exactly what he said and then some. He spent two days working on our garage. He brought a young man to help. First, he went through everything in our garage. Putting everything in piles according to keep, give or trash. This took awhile but he was very patient. Then he put together a product called monkey bars (steel beams and hooks) that attached to the wall. Everything was customized, using both his products and our existing storage. When he was done, he cleaned everythin and hauled away our junk. He will even take things to consignment, if needed. Overall, he did an awesome job and we are very happy!
