+ -1 moreCharles provided a detailed explanation and photos of the work to be done on our tile roof. Charles and his crew were on the job and very knowledgeable of their job. Charles is on the job daily to make certain the roof is completed to his standards. We ended up with a very high quality roof that was better than the original installation, a really great job.

+ -1 moreAll Climate Painting provided a clearly communicated, competitive estimate to paint our house. Lucy kept us updated to work with our schedule and theirs. Clark and his crew were very professional and when they started the job, they came every day until it was finished. They kept things clean and did a great job. We used the Sherlastic paint and would recommend that, if you want a very good paint product.

+ -1 moreTheir price was the second highest but they really explained everything that they were going to do and did everything that they said they would do. They also have a checklist that they went through with me at the end to make sure I was satisfied with everything they did. I even requested they come back to touch up a spot and they came right out the next day and touched it up. I would recommend them highly.

They were very helpful in color selections when asked, providing some paint samples, accommodated our schedule, were very professional in reviewing the work to be done and how. We will be hiring them again as soon as we can to get the exterior of our home painted.

+ -1 moreThe job took longer than he said. The cost goes up each time he shows up, always telling me something needs to be replaced or it would not pass inspection. The owner Charlie Petrie is very personable and earns your trust. BEWARE. I kept telling him before you add any more work to give me a price/work order and he never did. The job ended up costing me $ 3000.00 more. I would NOT use this company again. Should have joined Angie's list sooner!

+ 1 moreThe owner came to my house and inspected the roof. They gave me a written quote and explained how to source hard to find replacement roofing tiles. Once the tiles were obtained, his crew did the work and at the conclusion the owner of the company came to inspect more.

Description of Work: They re-built a flat section of our roof that had been a chronic source of leaks. It was a complicated job that required re-building part of the roof structure.

+ -1 moreRe-roofed 1700 sq ft house and separate 700 sq ft garage. Added foam insulation board over a tongue and groove cathedral ceiling. Added insulation to attic while roof was opened. Separate contractor treated roof for termites with borate solution while roof boards were exposed. After owner got me to sign a contact, it took him several months to come do the work. I got two bids on this work, each at about $13,000 to $14,000. Details of how the rigid foam would be installed got changed, and other work done got expanded on, and though each step made sense I wish I had carefully negotiated the price beforehand as the final job ended up costing twice the initial bid. I have heard from others that this company does this on EVERY job, and your other reviews reflect that also.
Description of Work: Like other reviewers I had the experience that the owner, Charles Petrie, found ways to add some work and then double the price origionally bid. In hindsight I believe he planned the language and structure of the intial bid to facilitate that . He is extremely personable so the inclination is to trust him. DO NOT. Clearly he does this on every job.

+ -1 moreTook longer than estimated, and the job ended up costing twice as much. I'd call it quality work, but the bottom line is I would not use this company again. If you do, beware of added repairs and costs, and be firm and clear about them. I guess it was my mistake that I was trusting, and this is my honest assessment. They did have respectful, professional workers. The owner claimed many repairs were needed or else the roof would not pass inspection, then after repairs were finished he stated that the inspector would probably not even go up onto the roof, and as it turns out, the inspector did not.
Description of Work: New roof and gutters. Removal of old clay tile roof.

+ -1 moreDid a decent job but not great. I had to point out some flaws in gutter installation which was corrected eventually. Paid double the original estimate for some additional work (but not double the work).
Description of Work: Replace fascia boards, clean and cover gutters with mesh to protect from leaves, replace sheet metal valley, replace plywood and paper on a small section of the roof.
