Neil came over to give me a free estimate and he showed up on time with fine manners. He explained the product samples in detail and recommended the one that would fit for our budget and the style, not the most pricy ones. He even matched the estimates of other companies with quality products. The whole meeting was very professional and pleasant. It took a little less than three weeks to get the shades due to the confusion on the installer's part: he forgot the appointment. I had to wait extra an hour and a half but the installer showed up and finished a great job within 30 minutes. If there is more work to be done for any of my windows (I am sure of it) in the future, I will not hesitate to call Neil again. Fine manners, quality products, neat job, good price! Very happy and thankful for the service!

Just had Neil back in to install another big window blind. He already did a wall of French doors, a large master bedroom window, and a window in the front door. He always does an excellent job. He also fixed a window blind in my kitchen, that wasn't one of his. He went out of his way to fix it, and solve a problem to get the valance back on. We will use him again if we need some more blinds. I highly recommend The Window Blind Connection.

This is my second time using The Window Blind Connection. Previously I had blinds made for a wall of French doors, the front door window, and the master bedroom window. This time I needed a repair on a blind NOT from The Window Blind Connection. Neil came out to see if he could fix it, and was able to do it right then and there. I also had him quote on another blind for our office. Neil is great to deal with, and the blinds are top quality. My blind will be ready in 3 weeks, and I'm sure it will be as fantastic as the others that he supplied and installed. I highly recommend calling Neil at The Window Blind Connection.

Installation went quickly and installers did a good job, although they agreed to take off old window treatments and forgot them. Only problem has been with the verticals for the sliding glass door. I know owner would have preferred I do something else and issues are minor. However, they are easy to use and give me the flexibility to block out a little or a lot of light. I absolutely love the shades for the living room that can be pushed up from the bottom or pulled down from the top. They are the perfect solution to bringing in lots of light but not direct sunlight in afternoon. If you want a good honest assessment with a good outcome, Neil Geller the owner is your guy.

In 2011, Neil came to our home to discuss our needs and presented several options for us to choose from. Once we came to an agreement of our preferences, he took meticulous measurements and said that his technician would be in touch approximately 4-6 weeks from measurement to installation. His technician called 5 weeks later and came out to install the shutters. Everything went exceptionally well. He was courteous, professional and made sure everything was cleaned up as he worked. Now in 2014, one of the sliders came off it's track. Neil responded to our phone call within 4 hours and appeared the next day to fix it (He came out on a Saturday). Everything was taken care of quickly, no mess. I would highly recommend Neil Geller and his "The Window Blind Connection" to anyone looking to improve their home with window shutters.

Excellent. On Time and Professional

I wanted to install a blind on a french door to the patio. Neil came over and took a look at the existing blinds (which didn't provide much information as to their manufacturer) and, after some searching, was able to find a very good match. He also advised me on how to salvage another existing blind that wasn't working correctly. When the blind was ready, Neil came over and installed it himself, adjusting it until he had it working flawlessly. I'm extremely happy with the end result. Also Neil himself is a very pleasant, interesting guy. All in all, a good experience.

He came in, he was all business. He didn't waste our time. He didn't stand around being sociable, not that it was unpleasant in any way. He came to do a job and did it. He suggested what we had kind of thought anyway. it was probably the best thing to do, which was to match the color of the frame around the window. He knows his stuff. The whole thing took about a half an hour at the most. Because he knows his business. The installers were on time, and they were efficient and were out in 15 minutes. He did give us a price that I thought was a little high. He gave us a break in the price at the time of the installation, and he didn't have to do that, but it was very nice. He did call back, and I don't remember why, after it was done. I guess to see if the installation, who was somebody else who put it in, was satisfactory.

Wanted to use a company that specialized in window treatments. I wanted someone who knew the business and had good feedback on Angie's List. Called Neil twice before we connected. Set up an appointment for him to come to my home and see what I needed done. He walked through the house to see all the windows and then sat with me and gave me his recommendations of what would work best. We chose colors and he measured every window. He told me he would get back to me in 3 weeks to arrange installation. It was less than 3 weeks when he called to arrange for Gabriel to come out and istall the blinds. They worked around my timing needs and had all the blinds installed in about an hour and a half. This was 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom and bath, the kitchen, an office and the living room. Very professional from beginning to end and we are exceedingly pleased with what a difference the new blinds make.

Professional, on time, not expensive, repairs were fast, very friendly and responsive.

Neil was great in coming to our house to give us an estimate. He came back and measured. Gabriel installed our blinds 3 weeks later and was punctual, quick and very nice. We are very happy with our blinds. They look great and operate as they should. We will definitely use them again for some of our other windows that may need blinds. I was very happy with the process and the people.

Neil agreed to come on a weekend morning, due to our schedule limitations. He quickly suggested some options--styles, materials and colors, taking time to go over pros and cons of other treatments. He made very accurate measurements. The product arrived within the time promised. Installation was very fast and clean. Most importantly, the blinds look wonderful! Thank you, Neil.

The entire process was professional and very streamlined from the sale to installation. I did not want to cover the windows which would interfere with the view. Neal gave me the confidence to use his recommendation which turned out right on. I was a little anxious about the timeline due to previous experiences with other companies. He called back immediately and updated me.

Neil was great to work with. We had a slight mix up with the measurements for our bedroom blinds. The blinds created initially did not fit in our window frames. Accidents happen. Neil was incredibly apologetic and took care of us. He had the new blinds created for the bedroom promptly and the new blinds work just fine. Neil and his team are professionals.

I sent an email to Window Blind Connection and within an hour I got a call from Neil, who ended up dropping by an hour later, taking measurements and giving me a quote. That was fast! It was a very competitive and reasonable price, so I ordered the shutters for all my windows right then. I asked if he could match the color of my crown moulding (which is Dunn Edwards Pearl White), and he said it was no problem. so I had them make all the shutters same exact color as the moulding. Five days later, one of his guys comes by for measurements, then there is a wait of about 4 weeks, at which time the guy returned and installed all the shutters. I love the look of these shutters! I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the color matched the moulding exactly. The only hitch was that one of the windows was incorrectly measured and they had to return 3 weeks later to install the shutters on the last window. But other than that, I am very pleased with the experience.

From estimate to installation, all went very smoothly. Everyone involved was very professional and courteous and the shutters actually look better than the others I purchased from Sears.

I think he was very competitively priced and in fact originally I did get bids for match stick type blinds that were nearly the price of the plantation shutters that he gave me, and the plantation shutters were clearly superior in look and functionality. So I was just impressed by the fact that I could really get a product that I wanted, that would compete with what I thought substandard and meet my needs for blinds, to keep the privacy factor. To come up with such a nice product and I only had to pay several $100 more to get it. I would not have thought of getting a bid on these, as I would have thought it is way too expensive. The installation was not an easy one because there was good molding around our existing windows and they did a really good finishing job considering that they had to work around the existing structure. That was important since, my husband is a perfectionist. He did not like one part of the installation so they immediately remedied it without questions and did not charge us. I was very happy about that.

I am delighted that this company was so helpful even though I did not buy the window treatments from them originally. The price was more then fair and I saved quite a bit of money by having them professionally cleaned. The owner was extremely polite and helpful and I am more than happy with the work done.

As mentioned above, the workmanship and professionalism throughout the process was second to none. On time and reasonably priced. Definitely the real deal.

Neil was patient in helping me choose a product that would meet my vision and limited budget. All work was done in a timely manner. When I was disappointed with the product appearance and complained, Neil came and discussed my issues and did a stellar job of dealing with the manufacturer to completely replace all the shades. Not once did he place blame or criticize. He stuck with his policy of no unhappy customers. Lesson learned by me (and to anyone having custom work done) if your budget does not allow for ALL of what you want then the right decision is to postpone and/or downsize the order of what you really want. Good companies such as Window Blind Connection are not going out of business and you can save the stress of exchanging/whining!
