 + -1 moreHis work was great. He was weeks late and did not communicate this. He barely returned emails, did not return repeated phone calls and was terrible to tie down with any communication and scheduling. Terrible communicator but decent work.
Description of Work: I had an armoire finished. It was an antique. He put some shelves in.

Description of Work: John repaired 3 antique English dining chairs. They're about 80 years old, were delicate, and needed a professional.

 + -1 moreI left a message and John called back within the hour. I told him about some older pieces of furniture I have that haven't been treated all that well and needed to be cleaned and oiled. He spent time explaining how I could do it myself, which turned out to be really easy, even for an unhandy person like me. There is one piece that needs more extensive repairs and if I decide to keep it, I will definitely be calling John to take care of it for me.
Description of Work: Phone consultation on how to properly clean my wood furniture.

 + -1 moreI was extremely pleased. I took the piece in for an estimate. Mr. Franco is accessible, friendly and honest. The quote he gave me was what the cost was. He said about a week and it was a week. When I called for information, he responded quickly.
Description of Work: Small round table that was a family piece. It had a single pedestal with three short legs coming out of it. Somehow the legs had come loose. Family member tried to reglue it, but made it worse. Mr. Franco had to undo the wood glue and reglue and stabilize the table.
