 + -1 moreTime between schedule and work was only a few days. Called 30 minutes prior. They arrived on time. By the time I opened the front door and went out to chat with a neighbor, they had the piano disassembled and loaded. We all drove to the destination address and they quickly unloaded and reassembled. Played perfectly after the move. Friendly crew; they're all the Jacobson brothers. Would use them again. They even said they would stop by later and drop off a cover-no charge. Small family business stuff.
Description of Work: Came to my home in Palo Alto, disassembled a baby grand, packed it up, loaded it, drove it too another location in Palo Alto and reversed the above.

 + -1 moreThis is a thoroughly professional outfit. We called several other piano movers in the area, and the receptionists were rude, indifferent, or the price was outrageous. Jacobson was easy to deal with from the get go. Three movers came a day before the carpet installation and had the piano up on rollers and into the kitchen in minutes. They returned the day after installation, and again, were efficient, personable, and professional. They were a great group of guys in this family-owned business. They know what they are doing. Communication with the front office was terrific. We'll use them again.
Description of Work: We were having carpeting installed and needed to have our baby grand piano moved from one room to another and back again.
