Excellent! Fast install and job looks great!

I kept having a water leak. They found the source in the second story of the house. I though it was a roofing problem so I had roofers come out. He had one of his o=men come out with a big ladder. He stood on the roof with the hose while I stood inside and the water came through. They detected the source and fixed everything. They were very meticulous, covered my awning and cleaned up afterward. When they did the final stucco work it blended in perfectly. I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

We chose top of the line windows so the cost was a bit high but reasonable for the quality. Installation was fast and professional.

Small owner operator bushiness.. very helpful in selecting and pricing of new windows ( and alternates). On time and professional installation crew, (cleaned up afterwards.)

They were amazingly good. I would give them A's all the way across. They took care of all the permits for us. It was a fair amount because they were huge picture windows. They did an excellent job and they gave us good advice and they were kind of tricky windows to do. They had to retrofit and do a lot of carpentry and they did a good job. It's an old house and it's really hard to work on. They didn't try to oversell us either to put in something more than I wanted which I really appreciated. If I ever have to get windows in again, I'll definitely be calling them for sure.

alexander replaced the two front bedroom windows.the removal of existing windows and the installation of new simonton vinyl double pane windows took about 1 1/2 hours. the crew was very organized and professional. they put drop cloths down in both bedrooms and did a thorough clean up when done. i have recommended them to neighbors.

He said that they not only take the door out, but also the take the frame out and replace it all. I said it doesn't need to be replaced, I just need a new door hung. He called me and said he would charge me $1600 to hang the door and the frame.

Lack of customer service & quality! Not sure what happened this time if they hired a new person or something to do the install. You would think that since this time we purchased better quality windows/doors that they would install them properly, but we've had to call them to come out and fix the french doors already a couple times since early October, but for some reason still didn't resolve the issue. The locks were missing on the screen and they had to order the parts and both French doors and screen doors were installed tilted and was causing the doors to scrape against each other. They came back to fix it and the wood piece at the bottom was cracked. But it was still tilted a bit and both french doors and screen doors have one side a bit higher then the other. My mom called out the Anderson window company and they examined what the issues were. Basically, they were NOT installed properly and said that they need to replace the french doors that is most likely has an issue due to the install. Anderson was going to work it out with Alexander Windows. Not sure what happened, but now Alexander most likely isjust going to fix it and not replace which was originally suggested by the Anderson company. Last night as I was washing the dishes, I saw the sealing on the inside of the kitchen window is not straight and you can see that it wasn't sealed completely in certain areas which makes it look like it's not straight around the windows. In addition, we found small holes throughout the wood windows & doors. There's chips as well & a huge crack at the bottom of the french doors that I have pictures of if I can post. I have Anderson wood doors & windows in my own place and none of them have little nail looking holes & wood chips, think standard is they should be patching those holes up. We're hoping that they will resolve these issues soon since my mom is extremely disappointed this time around.

I first researched what kind or windows I wanted - and settled on fiberglass frames with wood interior. Vinyl is not, IMO, a structural material and cannot be easily repaired or painted. Then manufacturers were studied with Integrity by Marvin for the main windows and Milgard for 6 smaller ones - beating out the others on sizes, quality and price. Then shopped suppliers of those windows and decided on Alexander based on bid and reputation from conversations with local contractors. After 6 years, 2 service calls and one warranty claim, Alexander has performed flawlessly. Friendly yet always professional, organized and efficient. The products too have proved to be all I had hoped.

I wanted more energy-efficient replacements. The representative of the firm was very helpful and knowledgeable during the selection process, and the work was carried out in a very professional manner.

The initial meeting and the prices were good. The actual work on one of the windows was not so good. They did everything right and everything was fine when they left. But, as time went on, the corking caught on dust and became black. It was not their fault but they did not tell me that I needed to paint the corking in order to prevent dust. That was when I learned that I had to paint the corking so that it did not catch dust and degrade. Apart from that, they put on a very good first impression. They were excellent.

They are a wonderful company. I would use them. We just decided not to do the job. We just did a backyard remodeling instead.

They were very prompt installing scaffolding and replacing the requested pieces. They took all debris, and left everything very clean. I have been very satisfied with the work. It is a 100% improvement. It took a very long time to get a proper statement, as required by the IRS, but other than that, I was completely satisfied with the service.

They did a really good job. They did the whole building in one day. They did a great job, they were very efficient. They came in and I couldn't believe how fast they were able to get those windows installed. They were vinyl windows that replaced 50 year old aluminum windows that crank out. These were nice sliders and they did a really nice job. They were really nice people to work with. We also had them look at a big window in the entry way to replace and they quoted us around $13,000 just for that one window.

They were very courteous and professional.

Salesmen Walter Cornejo spent at least two hours helping me select new windows. Very pleasant and patient. He accepted my change of order over the phone with the same professionalism. The owner, Jeff Alexander came to my house to make the final measurements. The installation was done in one day in six hours with no problems, They are a tremendous improvement over the old ones.

Their quality of workmanship was high. It took them some time to set the appointment up, but once they did it was worth while. The price seemed fair.

Sales staff was helpful and knowledgeable and buying experience was pleasant. Ultimately result was to our satisfaction but ISSUES with install work: (1) They dropped tools on a newly installed tile floor and shattered a tile which, of course, we paid to have replaced. This cost us about $90 to fix...Repeated calls to Alexander yielded no satisfaction and the one time we did speak to the representative she said: "You should have done the tile after the windows." So, I guess the logic is whatever flooring we in place at the time of work should be disposable. We were never reimbursed nor did they come out to look at the problem. (2) The workers generally left a messy work site and adhesive on the floor and walls (dried by the time we got to it) took significant time and effort clean. ADVICE: prep the work area yourself before they come to install; be present and watch them like a hawk during install; if you have a camera, take pictures before/after work.

The estimator was a good salesman. He had a cutaway sample of the window so I could see the construction. He explained about the manufacture of the windows, he gave their side of some negative things other types of window mfrs might say about vinyl windows, explained the warranty, etc. He did not do anything high pressure. I took about 2 weeks to make the decision and then called in the contract. They were not the cheapest bid, but they seemed the best value for the money. They sent out someone else to take final measurements, at this point, I found out that the original estimate did not include the building permit; I thought the salesman had said it did, but it was not in writing & I wasn't 100% sure. I signed anyway, the windows were made in 3 weeks. Installation took altogether about 5 hours. The installers were efficient and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and left me a tube of extra caulking in case I needed it. Later, their office arranged with the city for inspection.

The worker's brought the wrong window initially, and Alexander decided to install it right away and then replace it when the new window came in. They were not particularly attentive or responsive to the problem they created. They did not replace the window promptly. When the replaced it, they did some minor damage to the wood framing. Also, we had to wait at the house for hours while they did the replacement. When we complained, they did not seem to think it was a big deal. Eventually, they agreed to give us a 10% discount.

The crews were punctual, hardworking, and very competent. We are very pleased with the result. My only concern relates to communication. I was told that the job would take 2 1/2 days; so I scheduled it for a week that I could take that amount of time off from work. It turned out that they needed two additional days inside and two more days outside, not to mention my needing to be home for the initial window inspection.

I'm not sure these people will do a job for less than $5k. I've called them on two separate windows and both times they sent someone who was nice but then totally flakes out and never gives an estimate. I thought the first time must have been an aberration or something. They seem to be the classic contractor that works on his time when he feels like it and IF he feels like it. I finally call after 3 weeks and was told "We will get back to you today". That was 3 weeks ago. Oh and the inspector was 2 hours late. Totally don't recommend.

Everyone, from Walter the estimator, to the installation crew was very profesional and helpful. Walter the stimator gave good advice about the types of windows and the crew installed all in one day. The order was missing one screen, which they dlivered and installed later that month. They only do windows, and employ their own crew (not contract out) I'd use them again

They did a very good job and there has been no leaking. The people were very helpful and professional. They did a quick and solid job and were very respectful people. The biggest thing for me is that there were no problems. They do windows and windows only and are a very good company if thats what you need. They stand by their work 100%. Friendly and honest people, my husband and I enjoyed doing business with them.
