The Floor Center believes in no-pressure sales, which is great. They have an extensive selection of wood flooring, and a much smaller selection of tile. Although their initial time estimates proved to be optimistic, the installation of the wood flooring and the tile did not take longer than we expected, considering the scope of the job and the quality of their work. One minor quibble is that the two men installing the wood flooring often sniped at each other, sometimes quite heatedly. Otherwise, we have no complaints.

We were very happy overall. The Floor Center came in with what we found to be an extremely fair price. Bids we received from other places came in at double or triple for the demolition portion (old tile removal) of the job, which was probably the toughest part. Steve was very helpful in steering us towards the right hardwood and tiles for our house, and the finished product looks fantastic. The crew was always on time, polite, and professional. We were told the job would take 9 days, and they actually finished early and the job was complete in 8 days which thrilled us. The floor space we were having done butted up to a small powder room which we are remodeling in the next month or so, and the crew advised us that if we were planning on removing the powder room tile floor in the near future that it could damage the hardwood once it was in and offered to go ahead and rip up the old tile for us - which they did at no extra charge.

Steve, salesman arrived promptly and was knowledgeable and pleasant. The installer, Ralph, arrived promptly on the day agreed upon. At first, the installer arrived alone and stated that the 3 bedroom job would take 2 days. When we told him that the work must be completed in one day, he called the shop and they promptly sent another helper. The two of them worked all day without stopping and the job was completed by the end of the day. Ralph, the installer, was efficient and pleasant. Walter, the helper, was also very good.

It was excellent; they were punctual, clean and it worked out well.

Perfect. First, they provided very friendly and knowledgeable help with choosing the right carpet, without pressure, and keeping in mind both my budget in mind. It took a few months before I was ready to have the carpet installed, and when I called to make the arrangements, they set it up within about a week. Then they came to remove the old carpet and install the new one, which they completed in one day.

The guys who installed it were very nice and did a great job.

Gave them a call and set up an appointment within a couple of days. Met the representative and he thoroughly went over their services and what was needed to replace the damaged floor boards. As it was a fair price, we scheduled the work within a week. The workers showed up on time everyday and cleaned up their mess. They did a great job in patching all the scratches and nail holes, before they started sanding. The damaged floor boards turned out to be a larger job, but they did a fantastic job and it's barely noticeable. Overall, a great job and I will definitely work with them again.

They are very friendly and professional. The product was exactly what I wanted and delivered on time. The main reason I am taking the time to write this is that I wanted to donate my existing carpet to my daughter's school. They were nice enough to deliver it for me at no extra charge. I can't imagine a large chain store doing this!!! They were wonderful! I would highly recommend them.

Steve gave us a quote exactly as promised - on time. Our floor was not even with the kitchen tile but Steve said this was not a problem and would make it work. He said he would call us back with an estimate and as promised called back the same day with the estimate. The work was scheduled shortly thereafter. The two guys who came out to do the floor were excellent, showed up on time, installed the floor, primed and installed the trimming, and fixed baseboards where needed. We had a little snag when the living area was complete and the floor was not level with the kitchen tile. The workers said that they did not know anything about this requirement of the job and that they did not have the pieces needed to do the work. We called Steve and he came right out with the piece of wood needed to do the job. Everything was fixed to our satisfaction instantly. The floors look amazing, we are very satisfied with the work and customer service.

They did an excellent job. Our old ugly floors look brand new. The service was great, no hidden costs. Friendly workers.

One of my dogs had knocked over his bowl of water onto the wood flooring in my kitchen and some of the boards popped up as a result. I found the Floor Center through Angie's list and they sent out Steve Bond in a timely manner and he gave me a quote on the spot and told me that someone would be in touch to set up an appointment to fix the floor. Two weeks go by and I don't hear anything, so I called and left a message asking what the situation was, two days after that I get a quote via mail asking for a deposit. I sign the quote, enclose a check, and mail it back that day. I called the same day to tell them that they needed to give me a few days notice so I could make sure I was home that day. I didn't receive a call, so I called again and was told that they were coming the next day, which didn't work because I haven't asked for the day off. We rescheduled for a Saturday and the workman never showed. So I called, they apologized, and someone was out the next Saturday to fix it.

The estimator came to our home the day after we called. He was prompt and courteous. He did not have samples with him, so we chose a short list from the internet based on the brands they carry, then went to their store to make our final choice of material. We received our estimate by fax the following day. The Floor Center was the low bid of the three we solicited. The floor installer showed up on time as scheduled. He did a good job removing the existing flooring and cleaning the slab in preparation for the new floor. He also did a nice job installing the new vinyl flooring. He cleaned up nicely after his work. He worked alone and it took 3-4 hours. After he left, the baseboard installers arrived a couple hours later. They pre-painted the baseboards with paint I supplied. Then they installed the baseboards and caulked the joint between the baseboard and the wall. Their cleanup was not as meticulous as the floor installers work, but still acceptable. Their work took 2 hours.

Excellent. Steve and William helped select wood to match existing rustic paneling. The price they quoted included everything. Tax and all. No surprises. They adjusted their work when our subfloor had many irregularities. No extra charges. Steve came out four times to correct/check on the work. The workers were great and very knowledgeable. Despite the fact that we were living in the work zone, the impact was minimal. They cleaned up meticulously after every work day. The guys are pros! And the price was not exorbitant. The wood we selected was premium. We are very happy.

Steve Bond came on time to give us an estimate on the work; same day we were able to meet with him at the store to choose flooring. Looks like a small storefront from the street, but they have a huge selection, and Steve was very helpful steering us towards selections appropriate for a rental (not too expensive and very durable.) Company was even able to repair damaged sub floor in bathroom. Two different sets of installers, one for vinyl tile and one for laminate. Later took several days to finish the job, but they were slowed down by cold weather and were covering many more rooms than the vinyl guy. Both ultimately did fine jobs and we are very happy with the work.

Very helpful and pleasant with the selection process. Let us take samples home. Went with another company that was just as nice - hard to choose between the two. Will consider again in the future.

Steve Boyd gave me an accurate estimate, they started the job on time and finished on time. All repairs integrated seamlessly into the existing hardwood. My floors are gorgeous and I am thrilled!

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. FIRST, WE WENT TO THE SHOWROOM. WE TALKED ABOUT THE OPTIONS. WE TOOK HOME SEVERAL DIFFERENT SAMPLES. THEN, THE SALESPERSON CAME TO OUR HOME TO HELP US OUR CHOICES AND HOW TO TRANSITION THE NEW WITH THE OLD WOOD. THE CARPETING IS SOFT AND COMFORTABLE. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS FRIENDLY AND DID GREAT WORK QUICKLY.

WHILE THEY WERE DOING THE FLOORING, WE HAD TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT HOUSE. THE WORK TOOK ABOUT A WEEK TO ACCOMPLISH. THE WORKERS WERE VERY HAPPY TO DO THEIR JOB FOR US.

THE PRICE WAS GREAT SINCE WE HAVE A BIG BATHROOM. HOWEVER, THEY DID LEAVE A MESS AND ONE OF THE TILES IN THE CORNER HAS A DEFECT IN THE DESIGN.

IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE THE MAN COME TO FIX OUR FLOOR. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY POLITE.
