Description of Work: The floor center removed our old carpet and replaced it with quality engineered floors. The tougher parts of the job were the staircase and some other areas that required a lot of custom fitting. They were very thorough and diligent.

Description of Work: I was looking for something very specific and they were able to find a 2.25 inch engineered wood that matched my other floors and stain it nearly identically. They spent a lot of time coming out and thinking through all the options. The prices were comparable to Home Depot which I use as a barometer for lowest price

Description of Work: They installed bamboo flooring in my home office. Installer did an excellent job, also was very professional, knowledgeable & courteous. They were very helpful, accomodating & friendly when I scheduled the work also. Entire experience with The Floor Center was an A+!

Description of Work: Robert from the Floor Center installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen and bathroom rental property. Robert had to initially install new plywood over the existing subfloors, as the house was built in 1940. He added a 3 inch moulding along the walls as well. | |He showed up on time, and did great work in both rooms. The rooms looked so good, they instantly attracted new tenants, and we rented the property in short order. We are very pleased.

Description of Work: My first contact was by phone to arrange for someone to come out to the house and provide an estimate of what it would cost to refinish the hardwood floors in four rooms and the cost of installing hardwood floors in an additional room. Within one day, I had a representative at my home. We discussed what I wanted dne and I was provided with a couple of options and their costs. Two days later I made my decision. Once I did that, work began the following Monday. | |The workmen were exceptionally punctional. The did the needed repairs to the existing flooring which were completed in one day. It then took a day and a half to strip and sand the floors and another day and a half to stain and seal them. It took only a half a day to install the new flooring in a room that originally had carpeting. A total of six days and the job was finished. I couldnt be happier! As a matter of fact, my wife was so happy that we are making plans to replace other flooring in our home.

Description of Work: Installed hardwood floors throughout living room, dining & 3 bedrooms. The experience with the people was great. William was extremely helpful, and Greg who did the actual installation did a beautiful job.

Description of Work: I had a prompt response to my request for cleaning, poly, sanding of my hardwood floor. The gave attention to solutions and sent an email estimate. I did not use them due to a referral of another company which had family connections. If I had not the personal contact, I would have given them the job.

Description of Work: Needed a stairway recarpeted, called for an estimate appointment. All very crisp, quick, and efficient. William came on time and gave an estimate. I had specified the wrong color on the phone, but he had many samples when we changed it. He said they would have to order the material, would take about six days; in a week they called, set an appointment for installation, in a few days a man came and did the job. A great job.

Description of Work: Re-carpeted a 1,600 sf home 2 staircases. We shopped this job around a LOT and ended up going with this company. The installation itself was done VERY well, over a 2-day period. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the installation crew's consideration and willingness to move furniture, etc., etc. The carpet was really beautiful and we're happy.
