Frank came and assessed the problem, called for parts, cleaned out my compressor for a fee (was MUCH needed), went and got the part and came back to install it. Yay, soon we'll have ice made w/ filtered water w/o having to fill ice trays EVER again. :) Thank you! Would def hire again.

Unit is 11 years old and needed a new compressor. That would cost $800. So we are going to replace it. Most appliance repair shops are closed on a Sunday; however Fred was able to come by at the last minute late on a Sunday afternoon. It meant that we could move forward straight away on a replacement. Fred was very cheery and professional.

Fred determined that the machine was not worth fixing. I appreciated his honesty. He also took the time to recommend which brands of machine would be best to purchase. I would most definitely use him in the future.

Fred advised that it would not be worth trying to fix this machine because it was old and a new gearbox is very expensive. I told him I appreciate the honesty and he gave me a discount on his service charge. I will use him again. Very nice easy going guy that seemed to know his business.

Very professional, prompt and courteous. He assessed the problem quickly and was able to fix it with items in stock in his truck. I had very little time to deal with getting the problem fixed and he surpassed my expectations. I would definitely call him again.

Fred showed up on time and quickly accessed the problem, had the part with him and replaced and the oven now works. Will definitely use his company again when any other appliances need repaired.

Our 12-year old Kenmore went bust Saturday evening. Fan running, but not cooling the fridge or freezer section. I was afraid the compressor was kaput, which means get a new fridge. Called Fred (he actually picked up at 7:51PM) and he came out the following morning - a Sunday! He replaced relays & capacitors, and cleaned the condenser. Everything is running perfectly now. Fast, reliable, professional, and a fair price. And he's a nice guy to boot with great recommendations on appliances. Would definitely hire him again.

I was referred to these guys trough a friend as I needed the oven fixed that was not lighting up. Everything went well with the company they were very punctual and responsible. The repairman was able to find the problem and fixed it on time for me to bake something for the evening. Thank you very much.

Fred has become a very reliable and helpful all around handy man for my house. He responds to immediately and seems to make it a priority to resolve whatever the problem is quickly and affordably. I have always been very satisfied with Fred and hope to continue working with him in the future.

These guys rock! I placed the order and they responded with in minutes. They scheduled the service call for the next day. Fred the service tech arrived on time and was very professional. He needed to order the new pump and said it would be about five business days and would contact me when it arrived. True to his word he contacted me yesterday and said the pump was in and he could come out this morning. He arrived at the exact time he said he would. He replaced the pump and now all is good. He was very considerate and the work was spot on. There was no mess or hassle. I would recommend them to anyone!

Did just what was needed and didn't try to add on additional services. I am actually calling them today to fix my washing machine!

It did not go well at all. The worker was very strange. I was in the kitchen with the worker and he became very nervous, I began to ask questions and asked to look at the part. The worker would not show it to me and became very belligerent with me and left. So he came back and was really rude and said I asked to many questions. He replaced the part but then we began to smell gas in the house after it and called the gas company and they stated that the stove was now releasing aldehydes and stated that we could not use the oven.

The heating element in my 1988 Maytag dryer had ceased working. And my microwave had just "died."Fred is my "go-to" guy for all my appliance repairs. He knows what is required, has the parts, and makes the repairs. Before finding Fred, I would have replaced the appliances! Both my dryer and microwave now function perfectly.

I used this company's service twice. The first time was for a refrigerator that stopped working. Fred was able to resolve the issue by replacing the refrigerator with a new motherboard. After the repair, the fridge worked perfectly. The second time was for a disconnected condenser pipe for the A/C on roof. Fred connected the condenser pipe. Fred has excellent knowledge of various brands of refrigerators, washers, and dryers. Fred is a honest guy and tells you what needs to be fixed and what doesn't. If he is able to identity the problem when you call him, he will give you the exact price. Fred doesn't overcharge and doesn't recommend unnecessary repairs. He was on time for both the services. Overall, an excellent company to get repairs.

They came and found the problem with some parts. He fixed it fairly quickly got our refrigerator working again great job.

I was warned that many of the repairmen would be very rude, especially to women, but I was still surprised at the level of hostility and contempt that this man treated me. It was suggested to me by my regular plumber that I schedule a service call when my husband would be home, but that wasn't possible. We're desperate to have a working dishwasher, but I'm not paying to be treated like a piece of garbage in my own home.

Came within hours of my call to look at our dishwasher which was not draining. Was not able to repair at this time due to part which needed to be replaced, but I was grateful that they came in such a timely way, and explained the problem clearly to me.

Contacted Sharp Appliance Repair on a Saturday for a tenant who reported the washing machine was not working. Fred came out the following day (Sunday) and diagnosed that the pump and belt needed to be replaced and he had the parts on hand to do the repair. I would use Sharp again.

Technician came out and found fan needed replaced but then recommended to replace the entire air conditioning unit for $2985. I requested a refund for the Big Deal.

We called Fred at night, he showed up immediately the next morning. Very fast. He is very kind and always very fast in his repair. He came the next day to follow up and make sure it was working, and we were impressed! We call Fred anytime we need appliance repair or plumbing repair, he is great.

Fred is great! I worried because my Maytag dryer is so old (1988!) that I would be told it couldn't be fixed and I would have to buy a new one. But Fred fixed it, so it works perfectly (and quietly). Then he replaced the old tubing connected to the vent (and he cleaned accumulated lint on the wall and behind the dryer caused by a hole in the old tubing). Sharp Appliance Repair and Fred are my new go-to for any of my appliances in need of repair! And I found him through Angie's List!

Fred is the best. He arrived on time, professional as always, and repaired my dryer, saving me $ in the long run. I have used him in the past and would most certainly use his services in the future for any appliances.

Fred ripped me off. He came, did the job, then overcharged me . I was VERY surprised with the bill, but I had guests in the house so could not contest him. It was certainly not an Angie?s List interaction. When I first telephoned him I told him that I used Angie?s List to locate him. I reminded him that I expected the Angie's list discount. I insisted on keeping the old coils. He initially didn?t want to give me. I insisted on an itemized invoice. He was going to give me a non-itemized invoice. This morning, after my guests left, I checked prices of GE dryer secondary coils: $25 average. From $7.23 to $33.00. Fred charged me $75 for parts. On the invoice I insisted he fill out he first wrote $15, then $70, then $75 to make sure his total came to $185 he initially wrote on the blank invoice. He clearly was making things up as he went. So Sharp charged me $135 for labor, $75 for parts, effectively nullifying the Angie?s List discount. Hey, I understand he has to make a living. I think an hour rate of $100 is fine, and even a 50% markup on his cost for parts is reasonable, but Fred took advantage of me when he realized I had company.

I called Fred and he came out to the house within an hour. No frills, immediately got down to the inspection, within 10 minutes diagnosed the problem and within 30 minutes the issue was resolved and he was outta the house.
