Description of Work: My refrigerator's evaporator had become ice bound from the being left ajar for an extended period of time. The jamming fan was also causing loud noise in trying to cut through ice. Within about hour, the technician tore down the freezer compartment, removed the evaporator, cleaned and restored my refrigerator back to normal.

Description of Work: I would definitely use Fred again. Called him on a Saturday night, and he personally answered. Said he'd come between 9 and 11 a.m. on Monday morning, and was here at 9:02 a.m. Quickly made the diagnosis on my old Maytag washing machine that had stopped running, obtained the necessary part, and was out shortly after replacing the defective one. I was impressed by his professionalism and pleasant manner.

Description of Work: Called mid morning today to get an appointment for a estimate and/ or repair of out Maytag dryer which has been making a loud squeaking/screeching noise when in use. Noise became intolerable!! Was able to schedule and appointment for the early afternoon. Fred was prompt, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Easy to communicate with. He was able to check out the problem and make a diagnosis. He took the dryer apart and replaced the roller and the pulley. He tested and retested to make sure the job was done correctly and to make sure the machine functioned properly. He was able to check out the problem, diagnosis it and repair it within 50 minutes. Prompt and courteous service and very professionally done I may add. Very reliable. Will recommend and use this company again for another job I have already talked to Fred about. I also was able to use a discount coupon I downloaded from the internet. A++++ company in my book!!! Clean, neat and a superb professional to use on any repair job!! Dryer is quiet and functions great and I don't have to leave the house when its in use!!! Mahalo (thanks) Fred!!

Description of Work: Air conditioner broke down of course in the hottest time of the year. Fred came out as promised, and did a fantastic job. He analyzed what was going on with the AC unit, and unfortunately, we had to inject freon which is expensive, but I have to say, he lives up to all the great reviews posted here about him. I will definitely work with him again (and I'm sure I'll need to in this old house!) absolutely terrific.

Description of Work: Fred arrived on the early side of the time frame that was given us. He knew what was wrong with our non-cooling refrigerator, had the parts with him, and replaced the circuit board. He also cleaned dust out of the coils in the back of the refrigerator. He cleaned up. We were quite satisfied with his service.

Description of Work: The fan in my refrigerator quit spinning. I looked up Sharp Appliance Repair on Angie's list and i called them. I talked to Fred and he said he'd be over that same day between 1 and 3. He arrived at about 2:15. He had the necessary fan in his truck and it took him about half an hour to do the repair. When everything was said and done, the bill was exactly what he said it would be at the beginning. The fridge is working just fine.
