Rick's Hardwood Floors

Overall went well and Rick worked with other contractors to ensure a relatively smooth move in. He worked around others' schedules and coordinated to get the job done.

I'm giving him a bad rating because of what followed. After the floor repair was completed, Rick agreed to come back to my house to do repair work on some of the baseboards in my house. He quoted me a price that was extremely fair and told me to call him in a week to set up an appointment. The following week was Thanksgiving, so I waited until the week after before calling. After that, he just avoided me. I called and left severak messages, which he didn't return. Only once was I able to speak with him (he picked up, probably because he didn't recognize the number I was calling from). He mumbled something about not being able to get to it yet, and said he'd get back to me. He didn't. I finally left him a message asking him to let me know if he was no longer interested in doing the job; if he wasn't, I'd look for someone else. He wasn't courteous enough to do even that. Not very professional behavior.

We purchased our home a couple of years ago and our home had original hardwood floors that had been hidden under carpet for many years. Our goal was to bring the beautiful floors back to life. However, we were concerned about some of the damage done due to the carpet installation and the area around the original furnace which never had hardwood flooring. There were also a couple of areas that had termite damage. We called Rick to find out if he can inspect our floors and give us an estimate to refinish them. We made an appointment and he showed up on time. We were impressed with his knowledge and he gave me an estimate later the same day. The price was reasonable and we decided to go ahead with Rick. He was able to stick to the project schedule and would always show up when he said he would. We were worried that the floor areas that needed to be replaced would stand out and would not match the rest of the floor. However, the replacement areas flowed seamlessly and our floors turned out beautiful. We are so glad we found Rick's Hardwood Floors. It was hard enough to have to move everything out of our home and not be able to live there for a week. They made the whole process so easy.

They were very good. I had interviewed a bunch of different people and I liked them a lot. I met Rick, the owner of the company, and he was very knowledgeable. He was very helpful because I was trying to figure out exactly what to do, and that was really good. He came exactly when he said he would, and he just seemed very prepared and knowledgeable. I liked them.

I CHOSE THIS COMPANY AFTER GETTING SEVERAL ESTIMATES. THEY WERE THE MOST RESPONSIBLY PRICED AND OFFERED ADDITIONAL SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE. THEY WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THEIR STAFF WAS PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THAT WE HAVE HAD THEM WORK ON OUR HOME. THEY DID TILE FLOORING FOR US THREE YEARS AGO. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH IT ALL.
