Pacific Reglazing has been serving the Greater Los Angeles area, Orange and Ventura Counties since 1991. We repair and refinish bathtubs, showers, sinks, tile and counters to look like new. We can repair old cracked showers and make the worst possible old fixture look brand new. We own the building we operate from so we're not going anywhere. If you ever have trouble we have a 5 year warranty and do everything possible to make you happy with our work. All of our workers are employees and the company stands behind their work 100%.
I would NOT hire these guys again. When they arrived to reglaze my bathtub, everything was fine. However, they did not apply the anti-skid to the floor of the tub. I called them to make arrangements for the anti-skid application, was given a quote for the additional work, and we scheduled the work to be done. They were a “no-show”; and, they did not call for an explanation. Days later, I called them to ask why and they said that they (Ron and Cesar) will look into it and get back to me. Still no response. Do not waste your time or money!

Description of Work: Called and made an appointment to have the Tub/Shower in our rental condo refinished. Was given a quote over the phone and set a date to get the work done. Worker was on time and did the job in just over two hours from start to finish. Work looked outstanding. He left no mess and was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I use Pacific reglazing for all of my buildings. I manage 30 units in Southern California and have used PR for years. They do great work, go the extra mile and am left with a brand new tub that lasts for years. I will use them again, and especially like our glazier Carlos, who's very quiet but does excellent work that I don't have to follow-up with him on. I have also dealt with Joe and Yvone (sp?) in the office, who are always very professional and friendly. Sometimes they get busy and can't come immediately, but I'm quite pleased with their service once they've come. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called Pacific Reglazing before Christmas, to get some price estimates. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and nice.....the first time around. I decided to look up their reviews on Angies list before I booked them. When I came here, I saw how horrible the reviews were and decided to look elsewhere. As I was calling companies with A ratings on Angies list, Pacific reglazing called me to follow up and see if they could reglaze the items we had discussed. I was honest with them and told them about their bad reviews on Angies list and how I decided that I was going to go with another company. The woman on the phone began hugging and puffing and asking me the company I had decided to go with. She was pretty flustered. When I apologized and told her that the reviews she had on Angies list were not favorable at all, she hung up on me. I think that the lack of professionalism shown to me in the last phone call we had, only reinstates the idea of them being an F rated company. If she didn't know about the reviews, she could have apologized and asked for the website so she could research it on her own.

It saddens me when a customer does not have the kind of experience they deserve. We are very responsive and diligent about addressing issues when something does not go as expected. The sales person you spoke to tried to call you back after your phone disconnected. No one in my office would ever intentionally hang up on a customer or a potential customer. Terrible, first they got the spray all over the glass surround, second within two weeks it started to bubble. Called and they came out, redid the tub and cleaned the glass and within two months the tub was cracking and peeling. Not a professional outfit. We would have been better giving the money to charity.

Pacific Re-Glazing sent two guys out to perform the re-glazing when in fact it was only a one guy job. Both guys were confused as to why the "head" office sent two. I thought to myself, "wow this company is on top of it." Boy was I wrong. It all started when the worker didn't properly mask off surrounding areas. I left for the day as they told me it was a one-day job. Came back to find the work had been done and masking tape was left for me to take off. No big deal I thought, until I started to remove the masking tape the next day. I found that the technician didn't mask of the entire surface of the bathtub and had sprayed my tile surround (which we didn't want re-glazed) as well as got overspray on the glass shower track. I called Pacific Re-Glazing to complain, I even took photos of said damage and emailed them to Pacific Re-Glazing. The head office kept acting as if I was a new customer and someone else had done the bad work. I kept having to explain to them what happened. After being extremely frustrated with the lack of competent workers I ended up removing the overspray with paint thinner (something I shouldn't have had to do in the first place). Pacific Re-Glazing has yet to re-imburse for there bad work and sloppiness. Please beware of this company. I still have the original photos if anyone wants to see the "quality" work they do.

It was a bad experience. The staff did not seem to care about our countertops or the custom color we wanted. Before we came in, we checked their website which said that they were closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch, so we made arrangements to leave work early and showed up to their "showroom" around 11:30 AM. We wanted to see all their samples in person as we are very particular about the color we want. There were no samples on display, all they had was a sherman williams paint chip book and a printed piece for us to choose from. We tried to explain that we don't like common colors and wanted something completely different. Thats when we heard someone in a back office yell "we don't have a lot of "garish" colors"! This despite their website showing many great colors we would have liked. The lady behind the counter helping us was also trying to get us out the door because it was "close to lunch". Then, another store owner came by and wanted us to move our cars out of the spot directly in front of Pacific Reglazing because it was a 10 minute spot. (we had only been there 9 minutes at that point). We asked them to send us an estimate and left, but it left such a bad taste in our mouths that we decided not to go with them. After checking Angieslist, we realized that we should have checked their reviews sooner! Would have saved us time and aggravation. These guys need to learn not to attack the customers color choices!

When I scheduled the service I asked if I needed to take off the hardware, and was told that the technicians would have the ability to do everything necessary. When the guy went to leave I realized he left the hardware on and taped it off. I said that wasn't acceptable, but he said that I'd have to take it up with his boss who wasn't there. Before opening the next morning I sent a fax and got no response at all. Before end of business that day I stopped payment on my check and sent a registered letter to explain. I didn't hear a thing until two weeks later when accounting realized they didn't get paid. The assistant manager said he'd send someone out to fix. By this time the glaze was bubbling. The tech came out to fix, but only repaired the bubbles. He refused to re-glaze where I had taken the hardware off myself and said that the assistant manager didn't know what he was talking about, and they don't re-do a job after the fact. I should have taken the hardware off before, it didn't matter what the rep on the phone told me when I scheduled. I was appalled at the nerve of this man and threw him out of my house. Calls to the assistant manager resulted in an agreement they weren't going to fix and weren't going to get paid. Two years later they are still harassing me and sending collection agencies after me. It is now on my credit. All calls to the company result in them hanging up on me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

The first time they came we were thrilled. Didn't use the tub for 4 days, no soap or bottles on the edge, no abrasives to clean. First time we used it the glaze started to smell and then stick to our skin. We called, they said this never happens. So they came back and did it again. This time we waited 5 days. I started noticing dents along the edge and bumps on the bottom. I called them back - they said that technician wasn't with them anymore and they'd have to send out another guy. He came - said the formula the other guy used was bad so he rescheduled this is now going on 3 months. This guy redid it, we waited a week and within 2 weeks there were huge horizontal bubbles that peeled off the glaze. I called, they didn't call back, I called again they said that technician had left and they'd have to reschedule, so we did, they didn't show, we called again and they're supposed to come back. I just want my money back and a new tub.

I called to ask about the product and was told it was very reliable. They scheduled appointment quickly. Arrived on time. Were courteous, cleaned up. Received care instructions which were followed to the letter. Sink looked good until we washed the floor with Pine Sol and dumped the wash water in it. The coating came off in several places. Called the company and they explained that there is no warranty on kitchen sinks. This was in fine print on the back of the service order which you don't get until they're there. They put "Premium 5 Year Warranty" in bold print on their flier: READ THE fine PRINT. This product is no good for any kitchen sink or surface that is actually going to get used normally. If you just looked at it, it will last for years. The customer service man, Tim, was very cordial and said they'd be happy to come out and charge me again, and that he'd check to see if the product had a problem with pine sol, but I am not holding my breath. Nice work, LOUSY product.

I had to call three times just to get a bid on countertop re-glazing. After setting up an appointment, the contractor failed to show up. Once again it took several calls to get hold of their dispatcher. I was told that the contractor wasn't able to make it that day. I made another appointment which was also a no-show. I made several calls which were not returned.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE WHICH IS WHY I HAD THEM COME BACK FOR A SECOND JOB. THEY EVEN REGLAZED A CHIPPED SIDE FOR FREE SINCE WE HAD IT DONE ONCE BEFORE.
