Overpriced - about $8,000 to install underlay and reset tiles on a little over a 200-square section of roof. Did not show up on days they said they were going to. I was given a one-hour notice the first day they decided to show up, which was a day after when they were scheduled. They worked for an hour and a half and left. Was told they would return on Friday; they returned on Saturday. Worked an hour and a half. Left all of their trash from the job in my backyard. Did not test the roof like I was promised. Asked for work completion photos; wasn't provided those until after I signed the completion form. Wouldn't warrantee work. Received three completion photos, one still showing a small, cracked tile (did they think I wouldn't notice), patches and mismatched tile. Staff won't send me additional pics, nor return my phone calls. I've asked them if they're going to fix the area that was left. Won't return my call. Would not recommend this company. Their quick to take your money and promise you the world, but don't gurantee their work.

Very responsive and always polite. Crews did a careful job removing the roof, keeping noise to a reasonable level, installing and cleaning up. The only down was an unplanned increase in the amount of replacement wood needed but perhaps that cannot be fully anticipated before seeing the state of the roof. Very good service, they handled everything.

We are very happy with our new roof by them, we would use them again easily.

From the first person to the last person we saw with New Haus, we could not be anymore pleased with what they did for our house. We discovered a problem with the roof by the excessive rain we had received, in addition the skylights we put in by another contractor - who did not complete because he died had a problem and leaked also, and when we had the chimney checked for use we found a big ole crack in it (likely from past earthquakes ) and had to be removed. Cliff notes-their assessment matched ours, their resolution matched ours, and their price reflected the current price at the time of materials and labor. They were punctual, knowledgeable, and experienced. We took multiple bids, priced out materials ourselves and labor, and they were at the price we expected to Find. The other wanted 2x the amount and for half the work, the other contractors were a joke. They provided references to their work, they left each day with cleaning up their construction at the end of each day. I would absolutely recommend them to others and I would use them again for another project. They were awesome!

Bait and switch....very expensive...left the surrounding area with a lot of trash...

My project was for new roof n gutters, I had to have my old 3 layers of shingles removed. The team that demolished old roof shingles did a good job. Although it was a messy task, plastic sheeting was laid down n all material was disposed off. New plywood was laid down, there were a couple of spots that the plywood was not laying completely flat n was addressed. New shingles were installed in 2 days n look great. For the new seamless gutter install, the existing fascia needed painting but Newhaus wanted an extra 4,000.00 dollars to do it. So I hired a separate painter to do it for less than half the price. The gutters proposed were not the style I wanted n had to have them switch to what I wanted. The new gutters were installed n look great. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work n materials used although there were a couple leaks at corners that has to be re-sealed. However dealing with Newhaus could have been better, upon signing the contract online I did not hear from them for over a week to let me know the status or when work would start. I had to text the original sales guy to ask what was going on. The were also a couple of times workers did not show up when scheduled or were late from time that they were supposed to show up.

Well, it rained overnight on Saturday after the shingles had ben removed, and we needed them to come to cover the roof. Being Sunday, they don't work, so the project manager had to call around to find some to put up the plastic. We have had no rain since! The rest of the job will be finished this week.

We were very happy with Newhaus. They rearranged their schedule to fit us in on a weekend between rainstorms. They matched our shingles, and even replaced all our caps.

They came two days earlier than the estimate. This is important because we had to fix a leak before re-plastering our ceiling.

Stuff ended up on ground around the roof. Had to ask for clean up more than once. Roof is great.

The initial consultation and quote process was efficient and well done. There was a delay in getting the project started and it was hard to get a clear answer on when work would begin. To be fair, there had been unusually strong rain storms so they had a lot to handle. Once the project manager was assigned, things moved quickly the work was finished by the project deadline. The quality of the work was very good. There were a couple small things that had to be corrected at the end, but they were quickly handled. End result was great.

Very good experience with Newhaus. They did a flat roof/sundeck (rebuilding) the entire surface and they replaced the damaged ceiling underneath in a guest bedroom. Peter and Menoua were always very responsive, very supportive and absolutely reliable. Very nice and hardworking crew both for the roof and the bedroom ceiling restoration. Thank you.

Job not complete yet they're taking their time. they don't do what they say they will do .they're leaving a mess.

We contracted them to complete a pergola over our brick patio. From the outset we were clear we needed everything finished within 10 weeks of contract date because we had a baby on the way. 10 weeks on we didn?t even have a design. Will give them credit for providing a refund without a fight.

This roofing contractor is only for large jobs, not small ones.
