I was very satisfied. They were pretty good! I was really surprised with the price and the honesty of the company! Another company told me I was going to need a whole new roof to the tune of $10,000. The next highest company was going to charge me $3,000 for the same repairs.

It went well. The gentleman was very friendly and on time. He did exactly what he said he would do.

I was unable to use this deal. I had to have it refunded

I wasn't that happy. The guy came out but it was actually the guy who came out the second time who did a good job. I haven't had the best experience. It was okay.

I had used Modern Roofing before based on Angie's List. They are prompt and professional.

The provider came out, on time as promised. They were courteous and professional. They did provide us with a very reasonable quote however, we decided to put the work off for a little while, and did not use their services. We have kept their quote on file and will most likely use them at a future date.

decided i didn't need the whole package as my roof was in good shape except for some broken tiles used my extra tiles to replace the ones that were broken and saved me some money

I got a very bad first impression from their lack of communication.

My experience was very good. We were able to get someone out for a quote right away. We were very pleased with the person who gave the estimate. I thought they were very thorough during the inspection. Only one person came out to do the work and was a very hard worker.

They tore off, hauled away, and redid the entire roof. They really came through for me.

We actually had six different companies giveusestimates for replacing ourroof. All but one company measured theroof exactly the same. One company measured it 4 square larger but told us we would be credited for the roofing not used. We liked Dustyn from the very first day that he came out to do the estimate. He was always very professional. He helped us with getting all the information to our insurance company. Of the six companies we got the estimates from there were only two we were considering. One of the reasons wechose Modern Roofing was Dustyn. He did everything in his power to help us not only with the insurance company but in getting all the information to our mortgage company so that we could deposit the insurance check. The mortgage company needed information faxed over proving we wereactually going to use the money for a new roof. The crew that arrived to tear off the old roof did so in a timely manner. All the old roofing material was not only stripped off but hauled away. We were very impressed by that crew. The crew that installed the roof was very professional arriving in uniform, working constantly and cleaning up any trash from the installation. We found maybe 2 or 3 nails after the job was complete. Our neighbors even remarked on how impressed they were by the Modern Roofing crew. One even told us the roofers replacing their roof left quite a mess. We would definitely recommend Modern Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof or repair. We would definitely use them again.

I live in a townhouse & in October 2012, I had a leak in the ceiling of my second bedroom. Earlier in the year (March), I had a similar leak. My HOA management company contacted a roofer that they had used and they came out & repaired the problem. Imagine my surprise when 7 months later I had a leak in exactly the same place. That roofer came back & told me that my entire townhouse complex needed a new roof. I had 2 additional roofers come out who told me exactly the same thing. Yet none of them could tell me what the problem was. Mike Donnell came recommended through a girlfriend in whom I have a great deal of trust. Mike came out. Went up on the roof & told me that he didn't think that the problem was the roof. He thought that it was a drainage/plumbing problem. Because he could not put his finger on the problem, he called out one of his people who he believed could get the problem diagnosed. He, too, did not think that it was a roofing issue. I asked Mike if he could do whatever was necessary to figure out the problem. He told me that it was not his area of expertise. Suffice it to say that I hired a plumber & the whole repair cost $285. We've since had a great deal of rain & my roof has not leaked again. I just can't believe that I was able to find a roofer that was so honest & told me that the problem was NOT my roof. Three other roofers told me without question that my complex needed a new roof. There are 3 townhouses here. That would have cost somewhere between $5K-$10K & they wouldn't have fixed the problem. If I ever I have any roofing issues, I would call Mike without hesitation.

Modern Roofing was the 1st company that we called to inquire about replacing our roof. They were very friendly and professional when we met them. The pricing was reasonable as compared to the other quotes that we received. They also came several times to inspect the roof and give us a proper quote as we were on a tight budget. Modern was very willing to work within our financial budget. Unfortunately we did not go with Modern as we decided to use a local vendor.

The service was good overall. They were very professional in everything they did: they showed up when they said they would, did what they said they’d do, and charged what they said they’d charged me exactly what they said they would charge. The supervisor was on site and the work was done very well. I’m very satisfied with the work that they did!

Overall, the experience went very well. They were thorough and did a very good job! It took them awhile to clean up my garage afterwards, which is the only complaint that I have.

As far as I know, they did a great job! There hasn’t been a big rain storm as of yet, but overall, the service went very well. They were very nice people and cleaned up each evening prior to them leaving. The office checked with me daily to make sure I didn’t have any complaints. Everything went well!

Overall, the experience was okay. He was very professional and nice, but the estimate was higher than another company’s. I just wanted an estimate for a patch job, and his estimate seemed to be for a much bigger job than I what I wanted to do.

The work they did was okay, but they hired employees that did not speak very good English. I told them I would like them to come back to complete the job, which was fine, but the employee told the boss the job was finished, when in fact, it was not. I didn’t pay them since the work wasn’t completely finished. Several months later, I received a notice stating that if I didn’t pay, they were going to take me to court. Once that confusion was cleared up, however, they were very professional and the tech came out to complete the job. The work comes with a two year warranty, which they’ve honored for some sealing repair.

The e-mail responsiveness to set up the appointment was just fine and the man who did the work was great. He even removed our old t.v. antenna for us free of charge. The only issue was that he was a couple hour late. I called at about 30 minutes late and he said he'd be there "soon". He then called me back like 45 minutes later and said he was stuck in traffic. If I recall correctly, he was between two and three hours late. Luckily, I had nowhere to be that afternoon so it was not a big deal to me. I only mention because it could have been a problem if I had other plans. He also gave us a quote on installing gutters. We would definitely consider using them again in the future if we need roof work or decide to have gutters installed.

I would not use them again.

Being an 80 year old widow I expected this to be a difficult endeavor for me. I had no one to help me with all the upcoming decisions I would have to make. Enter Mike Donnell the Modern Roofing representative. This man helped me in more ways than I can express. During our consultation time I had some serious medical problems to handle. He was caring and patient and worked with me. After a few months of stand-by I was finally able to start the work for a new roof. All went well and I was very satisfied with the end result. But best of all I had Mike by my side .A real hero.

The office staff was efficient and on top of things when scheduling appointment. Appointment scheduling via email went smoothly. The technician was prompt and courteous. He was able to tell me that I still had a couple more years on my roof before replacement was necessary. He was also able to provide a rough ballpark as to the approximate amount I would need to save up for replacement. Since Big Deals are limited in scope, inspection included only the roof on the house. Would have liked coupon to include detached garages. That is a coupon issue, not a service issue. Would definitely have this company bid for roof replacement when it becomes necessary, as this experience indicated to me that they are "straight shooters."

It took them forever to schedule the service, but when they did come out, they did a good job.
