I'm an architect, and they were very patient with my requests for options and revisions for the awnings I wanted. Their price was great, and Connie and Jon are a pleasure to work with. The installers were very friendly, and the awnings look amazing!

I was happy with them. They came in, and we had a little dispute but not a real dispute because they didn't dispute anything. They didn't do something that we have discussed, but they came back the following day to do it. I was very pleased with them. I would absolutely use them again. I recommended them to my son, and he was very pleased with them.

Jon's initial estimate appointment was punctual, informative and helpful. We needed a window installed in a wall that had no window previously. The estimate was reasonable. After a last-minute change of mind about the size of the window, the workers came and installed the window last week. The installation was smooth, and both the window and the installation was of very high quality. They were patient and flexible with some other last-minute changes, so thanks to them for that. The window is perfect, and we are very satisfied overall with the job.

Jon was a pleasure to deal with. Straight shooter who did what he said he'd do in the time he said he'd do it. Gave a valid estimate and answered all questions. Punctual with all meetings and responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. The job was handled professionally and in the time frame promised. When there was an adjustment to be made, it was taken care of and dealt with in a very fair manner. I recommend him highly.

Jon's Window & Awning Inc's price was significantly than other people. His quality of work are exceptional. His people are exceptional. He's very personable, cleaned up after themselves and they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that you're happy with what you get. His quality of work is better than some of the bigger companies.

I thought Pat was great. He is a straight shooter and very knowledgeable. He's a bit of a throwback, who will work with your ideas and help you sort out options. He took an image of a door from an old catalog and was able to get it custom made for me. I get comments on it all of the time and am thrilled it's not same door everyone seems to have! He also brought in a great guy to stain and seal the door. There was no haggling or issues of any kind. He is solid and likeable. The only issue is that he is so busy! I will be using him again for doors and possibly windows.

I had a great experience with Jon and his crew. They are professional, competent and they definitely went the extra mile. I am particular and they did a super job. You can't do much better and I will definitely be using them again.

We are very satisfied with each and every step of each job that Jon's Window and Awning Company has provided. With each of the projects we took on, Jon was thorough and explained each step involved so we knew what to expect. Connie, the Office Manager, was familiar with each of our projects immediately. Connie communicated every schedule date, each change we made or might need to make, made reminder calls and verified installation time frames first thing on our installation dates. Connie from Jon's Window and Awning Company was always pleasant and on top off it. Jon's workers were great. They were on time, they worked hard, they were always safe, and cleaned up everything when the finished. I'd have to say that we had an excellent experience with each project Jon's Window and Awning Company completed for us.

They give competitive bids/estimates, order your exact requirements, call you for installation, and do an amazing job navigating the process of replacing your windows. I got two estimates for awnings, and I went with Jon for two reasons - his price was better, and his interest level and communication were better as well. He was very responsive to all of my questions (and I had more than a few). The installation was today - his people were very nice (as is Jon himself) and the awnings look great. The women who answered the phone was very rude. When she heard that all I wanted replaced was one big window, that was an issue and they didn't have any interest in doing a small job.

He was highly recommended. I don't remember the exact price that I paid for his service but it was in the range of $4000. The service was very good and he was very reliable.

One man,Julio, and his helper did all the work. He was very polite but always late in arriving. I had to call him 3 times to get him to come out and finish the last coat of painting. Jon was truly wonderful but those around him were not so easy to work with.Connie at his office was a little short with me and I had to ask a couple of times to send me the proper handle for the new window. I am so glad to have the window working and would work with Jon Higgins on any project. He was great.

Out of three companies contacted, Jon was the only one that actually wanted to come out and look at the windows for an accurate estimate. The price was comparable and a bit less to the others that quoted over the phone. Follow up with details was terrific. Office staff helpful (Connie) and courteous. The side door was replaced and old one hauled away without problems. Job was done within time frame stated and the installer cleaned up nicely. The window installation occurred on a separate date in less than half a day, which was great. The installers (Antonio was the lead and very pleasant, helpful) were professional, clean and detail-oriented. They took care to avoid trampling our plants and vegetable garden, which was nice so we gave Antonio a couple of tomato plants since he gardens. Windows look and work great. We are pleased.

The overall experience with Jon's Windows was incredibly easy and fast. After receiving three estimates I opted to go with Jon's Windows as the price was reasonable and Jon and I were on the same page with regards to keeping the original wood on the house as opposed to major construction and ripping it out as was suggested by another company. I had 17 windows replaced in a day and half! Jon's team worked fast but with great attention to detail and after living in my home with the new windows for a few weeks I am 100% satisfied. I stopped by the office initially and spoke to Connie. She explained the process of replacing windows, gave me a general rundown of the differences between vinyl, fiberglass and wood, etc. Jon then came to measure and give a quote for the windows. The quote was the most detailed I've seen. Everything was broken down and he also calculated the local rebates as well as federal tax credit. The windows took about 4 weeks to come in after placing the order. Once they arrived, we were able to schedule the install within about a week. The installer was prompt and very polite. The five windows took about 4 hours to install. Blocking up the window was a longer process that took a few days because of drying time for the stucco, drywall mud, etc. Will definitely use them again when it is time (read: we can afford) to replace the other windows and doors in our house.

We have an older home that had a beautiful bay window that had begun to deteriorate and leak. We called several places to inquire about replacement windows over the last few years. But it finally got to a point where we had to make a decision. At first we thought we would just hire a painter to re-caulk and paint the window but the estimate I got was well over the cost of a new window. At that point we contacted some of the larger window dealers -- got a couple of bids -- which all seemed like more than we wanted to spend. I got the name of Jon's Windows from the painter who gave us the original estimate. The painter had not worked with Jon's Windows but knew of its reputation through the Burbank Chamber of Commerce. Anyway, Jon Higgins came out, measured the window and gave us an estimate on the exact same window that the larger window companies had talked to us about. His bid was well under theirs -- by more than $1,300.00. I questioned Jon's about the difference because it made me wonder if somehow I wasn't comparing apples-to-apples. But the office manager told me that the since the company did so much work with the manufacturer it got a nice discount, which it passed along to its customers. That gave me pause, because the larger window companies surely did more business with the same manufacturer and obviously did not see fit to pass on the savings to the customers. So, I decided then and there to go with Jon's. Not only was the price better the service and installation were great. The window came when promised. The workers showed up on time. They installed the windows without destroying anything and barely creating a mess. Whatever debris resulted from the installation they cleaned up there was no evidence any work had been done except for the actual new window. I would highly recommend this small company compared to any of the larger window companies we consulted.
