I called Raffi late in the afternoon and he was able to come first thing the following morning. (It wasn't an emergency situation.) He was friendly, professional and prompt. The job was relatively quick, but he also cleaned up the standing water under and on top of the heater to avoid any rust problems. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Our kitchen drain clogged v badly right in middle of big Thanksgiving cleanup. I found the company on AL early the next AM and he showed up in 40 minutes. It was pretty routine unclogging job but problem was pretty deep into the drainage pipes. He handled it promptly, and professionally.

Came promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, adjusted easily to additional work needed to finish the bathroom part of the job. Additional work was not included in the original quote ($120, hourly rate is $110 per the invoice). I did not ask for revised quote, so was a bit surprised the final price was twice the original quote. HOWEVER, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK, WOULDN'T CHANGE HIRING HIM OR hiring HIM AGAIN, AND WOULDN'T HAVE HAD HIM NOT DO THE WORK HAD I DONE WHAT I SHOULD HAVE, WHICH WAS TO ASK. In fact, due to my sloppy bookkeeping, I realized about 30 minutes after he had left that the account I wrote the check from was about $10 short because a couple of checks I had written to grandkids the month before had just been cashed--I hadn't realized that when I checked the account the night before. I transferred the funds after calling him and leaving a message to hold the check to the end of the day. When I checked with him to apologize the next day, and tell him okay to cash it,he was very gracious about it.

I have lived in the same house for roughly 17 years. I have tried several different rooter services over the years, and we have had a wide range of experiences, good, bad and downright ugly. I decided to try California Green Plumbing because of a special deal they ran through Angie's List. They were great. The sewer mainline clearing that I needed done was relatively straightforward, but I also had a slow patio/backyard drain that has not been cleared since it was installed 15 years ago. Patio/backyard drains generally do not have the same size, quality or type of pipe that your sewer mainline does. The pipe is smaller, thinner and has significant bends in it before it reaches its destination. The guy from Cal. Green Plumbing demonstrated, skill, experience, patience and finesse in getting the rooter snake all the way to the end of drain line and cleaned out a lot of roots and other gunk that were making the drain run very slow. Given the difficulty of this job, Cal. Green Plumbing's expert methodology for handling the job, and the very reasonable price they charged, I could not possibly have been more happy with the work or the results.

I spoke with Rafi, the owner and told him of my problem. He visited the site within 24 hours and immediately did a video scan . A few days later he began working and finished within 2 days. He did everything he promised, was on time, on budget, cleaned up, and overall was extremely professional. He was also much less than other bids that I received. I will definitely use him for future minor and major plumbing matters.

He came early and fixed the problems right away. Was willing to answer any questions and help with anything needed. I will definitely call him for more work.

Raffi and CA Green Plumbing provided amazing customer service. I had initially gotten a higher bid from another company that had to make three visits before giving me an estimate. Without showing me or explaining, I was told my line was cracked with roots and I needed to replace the first half of the line and hydro-jet the rest. When they left, the hose wasn't put away and the clean out caps were not put back on. I called CA Green Plumbing to see if I could get a better price and I did along with much better service! Raffi was at my house the next day and fully explained the situation and my options, patiently answering all the questions I had. When work began, he was also on site and made an effort included me in every step of the process. After the first day of work he gave me a DVD showing the work they completed as well as the damaged clay pipe so that i could get other bids if I wanted to. All work was completed within two work days and the back yard was immaculate when they finished each day. Couldn't be more pleased with the work and service they provided!!!

The washer drain backed up, and while I was waiting (all day) for a call back from my previous serviceman, the toilet backed up. In desperation, I grabbed the yellow pages, but then remembered Angie's List. I called Raffi, who called back immediately, and came to my house promptly, even though it was then after 5 P.M. He was very pleasant and professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me a price, and got right to work, climbing on the roof to get the access needed to clear the blockage. He didn't try to charge extra for "overtime", and was very knowledgeable and efficient. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to scare me into having extensive work done. I had him back to install a clean out to prevent a future backup, and also to repair a broken pipe under the house, which he was able to show me by taking photos. Again he was courteous and on time, and he listened to me and answered my questions. I was extremely pleased with his work, and recommend him highly. I will not hesitate to call him in the future.

It was a terrific experience! We set up an appointment a couple of days ago. Raffi showed up on time, and did exactly what we asked him to do PLUS extra work(he fixed one of our out door faucets with no extra charge). I had 3 other plumbers to give me a quote but none of them was close to his. He replaced all of our shower fixture, a sink faucet, and one outdoor faucet for just $500 including the parts. Thanks to Raffi, now our bathroom shower fixtures are all new and shiny. He was promt, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The owner Raffi picked p the phone around 7:30 in the morning and I told him that my sewer was backing up and I needed heeelllppp!!!! Raffi himself came out and looked at the problem and told me it was going to cost me $99.00 because I have a clean out in front of the house as he has advertised. After running the cable he ran the camera as a compliment for the same price. He found a broken pipe about 20 feet down the line so he recommended me to replace just that section because the rest of the line was OK. I remember last year when I had the same problem the plumber wanted to replace all of the pipe and said it was going to cost me $4,500.00. Raffi fixed my problem with only $600.00 and it was a weekend too. Want to talk about honest Raffi is it. Thanks again.

Raffi was very responsive in answering my initial questions over the phone and setting up the appointment. He even called me the evening before to confirm he was coming. He arrived on time and after he looked over everything, gave me a quote for the work. I agreed to the amount and he completed the work quickly while I dealt with some other workmen who happened to be at the house the same time. After he finished he confirmed the work he completed and then we talked about ways to save money and be greener in my household. He gave me several great ideas that I will follow up on, and even convinced me that one idea was not worth pursuing even though his company offers that service. After he and the other workmen left I discovered that the pop-up on the sink didn't go very high causing the water to drain slowly. I called up Raffi and he promised to come out the next day. Unfortunately, he did not show and I had to call him several times before he picked up. He was caught up on a rush job and forgot about his quick visit to me. He did apologize and we set up another date which he showed up on time and quickly fixed the problem. I was happy with his work, his expertise and his courtesy.

Raffi returned my initial call promptly and said he could come to my house and address the problem within a few hours. He offered a 1 hour time frame, called when he was on his way, and arrived on time. Raffi is very professional and pleasant to work with. He solved the drainage problem which was not a simple matter of cleaning out a stopped sewer line. He offered to do what was necessary to get the job done right, now and in the future, by placing the clean out in a more accessible place. Raffi had to leave for a short time to pick up necessary equipment but returned at the time he said he would. He worked diligently and completed the job within a reasonable amount of time. Before leaving Raffi also went over what short term and long term goals might be in order to eventually replace the sewer line as my budget would allow.

Raffi was very experienced and knowledgeable about our plumbing problem. He was very professional. If you ever need a plumber Raffi is the one to call upon, he is dependable and made it a pleasant experience. Our main sewer line is working great what a relief! Having a clogged drain with water backing up in your home is a nightmare. Now I know who to call if I ever have any plumbing issues. He honored the estimated price that we discussed over the phone and did not overcharge us.

Very well. Raffi was very prompt and got to us within 2 hrs to snake the drains. We set up an appointment for the next day to install a clean-out and realign the toilet. I really appreciated it the next day when he called to let me know he was going to be later than expected due to the job before mine taking longer. Its that kind of professionalism that I expect. Raffi made a recommendation for future repairs and gave me a time frame for making those repairs. He didn't try to scare us into making costly repairs on the spot. All in all, it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend him.

I was very pleased with the service! I called on Sunday morning and explained that our drains were backed up in two areas of the house. Raffi (the owner) personally answered the phone, gave me an estimate over the phone and agreed to come within the hour. He arrived right on time, assessed the problem and got right to work on the clean out. Before he cleaned the line, he showed me the problem (some roots in the line) and explained how he would fix it. He also gave some suggestions for some future work that could help prevent a recurrence (i.e. running a camera to see where the roots were invading and replacing that area of the line) but explained that today's work should keep the drains clear for a good period of time. He completed the job in about 30 minutes and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. Raffi was courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and personable. His rate was very reasonable - no upcharge for weekend service, and he charged exactly what he estimated by phone. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him.

Raffi was just great -he came over within one day's notice - on a Saturday (!!!) to replace a bathroom sink drain pipe that was so horribly closed barely a pencil width of water would get through - despite our repeated snake-ing etc. Raffi was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He showed us a picture of the drain pipe and how closed it was - he explained that replacement was needed and that flushing it out would have been a waste of our time and money. We know he was right because of how many times we tried to unclog it ourselves. The water flowed smoothly afterward and the smell from the sink was gone too. He checked over the toilet and other plumbing to make sure he saw no signs of leaking - which in an old house is always appreciated - and saw no signs. He told us if we needed him for anything he was just a phone call away and this has proven true - as he is coming over soon to check another concern of our - at our schedule's convenience too! Raffi is great!

Early Sunday afternoon our plumbing system became clogged. My husband tried, without success, to solve the problem. We could neither flush nor run water without causing flooding. We left a message with California Green Plumbing and within an hour our call was returned. Raffi arrived soon after. He was professional and pleasant. He worked quickly without rushing explaining to my husband what he was doing. When he finished Raffi insisted on cleaning everything--including some of the mess done before he arrived. He quoted a price over the phone and that is what he charged. I would recommend him enthusiastically and without reservation.

They did a good job. They were more expensive than the other people. We spent about $250. They were totally professional. I had specially ordered a toilet. The porcelain toilet was heavy to carry around. They were able to pick it up on the way here. I had called another plumber and was going to have them install it. The toilet arrived 6 weeks after I had ordered it. Then I tried calling them to come and install it. However, they were not able to hear my telephone number over the answering machine and did not call me back. When I did not hear from them, I hired California Green Plumbing to install it. They were able to pick it up, bring it here and install it for me. They were excellent and had a great attitude. I would definitely use them again.

Raffi is very professional and thorough ? I won?t be using any other plumber?ever. Stressed and anxious are the words to describe how I was feeling plus the idea of not knowing HOW MUCH money this would cost. Raffi wanted me not to spend more money ? he was concerned about that as I was. Angie?s list had it wrong?he doesn?t take credit cards

Raffi came over within about an hour of getting my call. He was really nice and took the time to check all the toilets in the house to make sure they wouldn't have the same issue down the road. His rate was extremely reasonable - unlike other plumbers who will charge you once to come out and just look at the problem, and then again when they come back with the parts. He even replaced the flapper free of charge. All in all a really hassle-free, stress-free interaction with a true professional. It was nice to close out dealings with a plumbing company without feeling like I have been totally ripped off. I will definitely call him again for any plumbing issues.
