He advised me of some very necessary things to do. Raffi gave me a good deal, good guy to work with.

It went perfectly. I'm not one to go into hyperbole, but this guy was awesome. I spoke with him on the phone, he came to the house early. Fixed the problem and replaced a part in less than no time. Raffi was good humoured and had a strong work ethic. The guy was a pro and he saved our bacon. Thanks Raffi!!

Raffi is the best. He has a great attitude and is pleasant to deal with. I called him late in the afternoon and made an appointment with him for the next day. He was on time. He snaked the drain for less than I've paid in the past. He's my "go to guy" for plumbing.

Raffi answered his phone immediately and was able to come to my house the same day. Something was leaking under my kitchen and he determined it was my disposal, which was old. He said it was impossible to service the inside of the unit and suggested a new one, which he left to purchase. He returned quickly, explained everything clearly and finished his work in no time at all. And he cleaned up the area quite well. I would definitely use him again.

Rafi was great. He fixed my faucet the same day that I called him. He arrived on time. He completed the job in less than 10 minutes. The only complaint I have is less about Rafi in particular and more about the plumbing industry in general. I am an attorney and I could never get away with charging $100 for less than 10 minutes of work. That being said, I think Rafi's prices are very competitive as far as plumbers go. If you want to pay less than $50 for a job, you should probably use a handy man instead of a licensed plumber. I would definitely use this plumber again.

Raffi was outstanding. Everything was done extremely professionally and Raffi went above and beyond to make sure everything was done on time and with minimum inconvenience to us. We had a stopped up kitchen sink. They quickly responded to our e-mail and set an appointment and were right on time. They were fast and explained everything, and did a great job, even cleaning up after himself. I also asked them to snake the shower as it has stopped up a few times, but the trap was too sharp, so he didn't charge me, but explained exactly what he would do if it happens again to fix it. Awesome service, and Raffi could not be nicer! We have found a new plumber!

Raffi, the owner, came by right on time to diagnose the problem. In my 40 years of owning homes, I would have to say that Raffi Bardakjian is by far the best plumber I have ever dealt with. He is very professional, highly knowledgeable, and is very easy to talk to. He explained with excellent clarity exactly what needed to be done and, as the work was progressing, showed me pictures of what he found and also showed me the actual pipe with the intruding root once they had dug down deep enough to find it. It is noteworthy to mention that when he came back the next day with his men, he again was right on time (even a little early!). I would highly recommend California Green Plumbing for any plumbing issue. I have complete confidence in their honesty and competence.

Person in charge of my mini project, fixing leak and sorting out sink and the rest showed up right on time. Polite and really pleasant person. I was in a mess that day because all the work waiting to be done so his presence helped a lot, especially with very useful tips and professional approach to my problem. It didn't take long, thou I never looked at the clock because my day was destined already. Moving out cabinets, hiring people to check my wall for damage done by water. etc. etc. The most important thing is that I'm very happy with the service provided. I'll count on them in the future.

Raffi is wonderful. He took care of our emergency quickly and kindly. It would have been easy to blow it off because it was a small job and it was on Saturday afternoon but he took good care of us. He's very capable, knowledgable, and overall a good guy. I highly recommend him.

Had a leaky kitchen faucet...Raffi told me over the phone I most likely would need a new one, but he came out anyway and tried to fix it...turns out previous plumber had installed wrong and so faucet had been leaking for a while -- inside metal had rusted away. So, I went out and purchased a new faucet and Raffi worked his schedule out later in the day to come back and install. Great guy, very friendly, told me up front what the problem would cost and followed through. Will definitely call on this company again!

Rafi checked the main line with a hose... it was draining just fine, so he had to find where the back-up was... see above.

Raffi was very professional, showed up on time, gave me a reasonable estimate, and did wonderful work. All aces as far as I'm concerned. He also gave me a reasonable estimate on an upcoming water heater replacement.

I've used California Green Plumbing before and they were excellent. However, they occasionally take a while to call back. This time, I had a major plumbing leak (>10gallons/minute; water shooting 20ft in the air; Major!) and gave them a call. I reached their voicemail. Called again several times (this on a Friday afternoon at 4pm). They never called back. Not even days later to check on me. or apologize for not getting back to me. I like them, and would love to use them, but their non-responsiveness to an emergency leaves me no choice but to move on to a company that can help me when called for. UPDATE: turns out that they do not have a secretary. And their voicemail depends on cellphone service to get to their boss and plumbers. So, they may or may not get your emergency calls. I've since used them again for another service at $350 to add a water pressure regulator to the exterior water supply. They did a very good job there. I just can't count on them as a go-to plumbing service when in need of emergency work. UPDATE2: added shower valves when an old one was leaking. they did a very thorough job and two guys spent around 6hrs doing the job right, when they could have bolted and done a slapdash job instead. They blocked the pipes sturdily, re-routed an air vent, and made nice neat solder joints in the copper. Will definitely hire again.

First I called another plumber about my clogged drain. They were over 1-1/2 hours late, couldn't clear the clog, then told me that I needed to spend $390 for Hydro-Jet work. This didn't make sense to me. I got suspicious that they were inflating the cost of the job, so I found California Green on Angie's List. Raffi came out very close to the time he said he would, snaked the drain, charged me just $79, and it's working fine. He was prompt, clean, professional, and very nice. I'd highly recommend him.

Raffi was one of 5 plumbers we met with. His price was very fair - some were higher, and the lower ones warned of other expenses coming up, where as Raffi guaranteed his price with no hidden surprises. He also guided us toward making sure the shower was hot mopped, something our tile guy overlooked. He went out of his way to meet me at Home Depot on his Saturday as I had many questions re: the right kind of shower handle / spout system was appropriate. He also put new p traps in, and made sure all the hardware was new. I was very happy with Raffi and will definitely use him again in the future!

Excellent Service - I was impressed with this company.

Raffi came out to do an estimate and was straight-up and knowledgeable. Once we set a time to do the work he and his guys arrived 15min early and were already working and digging when I got there. When an old pipe near the regulator broke in the process of fixing it, they replaced it without any fuss or spike in my estimate. Raffi rooted out the slow drain and hydrojetted the sewer line without any issues. All the workmanship was great, all the workers polite and professional, CLEAN work product, and Raffi himself is a pretty funny guy as well. I feel like I found a solid plumber I can trust and would definitely call him first if I ever have any plumbing concerns.

I think we spent about $8000 for their services. They were very responsive to phone calls. There were some quality issues with the work done. So, they had to come out several times for the things that went wrong. When they were installing our new plumbing, they bumped the gas lines and caused a gas leak. The gas shut off valve that they installed was faulty. It also took quite a while for them to come out and change it because they said that it was reacting normally when it wasn’t. It kept shutting off every three days. It took me a while to get them to replace it. The worse part was that while installing the new plumbing, they didn’t bother to install the supply lines to the dish washer. Then they just threw the supply lines for the dish washer under the dish washer. So, there was no water running into the dish washer. They didn’t even bother connecting it. They just took the lines and threw them under the dish washer and walked away. I wasn’t happy with that. The work they actually did was pretty good, but I wouldn’t use them again. In fact, they offered to do some free work for us.

It went perfectly. It had been a while since I had bought the "Big Deal," but I first wanted the Gas Co to move my meter to the outside of the house (instead of in the crawl space under the house.) After I called California Green, he scheduled a time and come out and installed the shut-off, and fixed something that he didn't think the gas company workers had done properly, for no extra charge. We were very happy with his work adn our experience.
