Raffi came and did a great job. It was the first time we had used them. He was very patient. It was an older faucet that was difficult to remove and he didn't try to break anything. The new faucet, I got it from Costco, wasn't functioning properly when he installed it. It wasn't anything he did wrong. He took the time to troubleshoot it and fix the issue which was very good to see. He had a very professional manner.

Everything went very smoothly from the time I called him (Saturday) to make the appointment to when he finished the job. I wanted to find a plumber to come out on Sunday, but forgot it was Father's Day. I made the appointment for Monday. I work close to home, so Raffi called me about 10 minutes before his arrival. He's very friendly and likes to joke:-) He had the faucet and supply lines replaced within an hour. He also scraped off a lot of hard water deposits that were all over my sink. I was very happy with the service I received and will definitely call him again, and refer him to friends/family!

Raffi showed up on time on the day we scheduled. We explained what was happening and he went right to work. He found a clog in the sewer line and asked if we wanted to snake the drain and how much extra it would be. It was very reasonable and we agreed. Once the sewer was snaked, he put the scope back in again and found what the problem was. He explained to us what the cost would be to fix it and since it was quite labor intensive, he told us to think about it and let him know. We knew that fixing the problem would be expensive, but it was refreshing to not be hard pressed to make a decision right away. Also, he didn't try to over blow the problem. We suspected ahead of time exactly what he found, and he just reconfirmed what we thought. Overall, Raffi was professional, straight foward, and not pushy. We will definitely use him again.

I had purchased a coupon on Angie's List for 2 hours of plumbing services for $99 from California Green Plumbing. I certainly didn't expect much, especially after all the miserable experiences my husband and I had with plumbers in the past. I was prepared for another all day plumbing odyssey ending up with half the things on my list undone and a whopping bill to boot. Wow...was I taken by surprise!!!! If you're looking for a professional, honest plumber who knows his stuff and gets the job done right the first time...look no futher. California Green Plumbing is your answer. Raffi came to our home and expertly tackled a long list of plumbing issues that we needed done. In the past, my husband and I had spent a small fortune on plumbers who spent hours making one repair, sometimes, often saying they couldn't fix half the things on our list. One guy from a highly advertised plumbing company even tried to talk us into paying over $750 to open up our whole shower wall because we had a small leak from our shower head in the Master Bathroom. (I'm no plumber, but even I knew that was baloney!!!) Raffi repaired 2 toilets that were running and needed new floats, checked all my outdoor hose bibbs & fixed leaks at 3 of them, repaired 2 leaky shower heads, tightened a loose handle from a wall shower head to a hand-held device, re-aligned and tightened lavatory handles and cuffs in 4 bathrooms, fixed my faucet at the outdoor sink near my BBQ (which no one has been able to do)... all this in just 2 hours. When I asked him to move one outdoor water spigot, he explained that #1: it would be very expensive and #2: it would not hold up if when the hose was connected and the water was turned on full blast. He instead simply tightened the faucet and handle and we've had no leaks since. He could have moved the spigot, billed me for it and set me up for another service call. But that's not who this guy is...he tells it like it is!!! Not only will I use him in the future in my home and recommend him whole-heartedly to my friends, but when I need plumbing work done at my business, he's the first one I'll call. Don't waste another cent on an incompetent plumber who's looking to take you to the cleaners. Call Raffi at California Green Plumbing. We just bought a new home and wanted a gas shut-off valve installed. We saw a coupon on Angie's List, read the reviews on Raffi's company, and bought it. I contacted Raffi and set up a date for him to come over and install it. He showed up a few minutes early, went to work immediately, and when he was done, tested it to make sure it worked properly. Then he showed me how to work it and answered my questions. He was really professional and friendly, and if other projects/needs come up around the house, I won't hesitate to contact him.

I got the company name from Angie's list based on the reviews. Raffi came out very quickly and changed a part on my water heater. He told me that it was very old and would need replacing soon. The new part held for about 24 hours. I called Raffi on the Saturday of the holiday weekend and his crew arrived first thing Tuesday morning, as soon as his supplier opened, with the new heater. They had it installed in barely a few hours. His billing was fair - he applied the fee that I had already paid to the total cost. He returned later in the week to install a new dishwasher. I had given him very little notice but he managed to squeeze me in. Again the price was very fair. Raffi and his crew were professional, polite and really nice to deal with. I highly recommend them.

I sent an email to Raffi and he called me back within the hour. We scheduled an appointment for the next day, and he sent an email to confirm the time. He arrived a few minutes early, and spent about 15 minutes inspecting the shower stall and plumbing in the crawlspace. He explained the problem to me and said he was not licensed to do the necessary repair. He told me I needed a company that does "hot mop" work and then a tiler. Raffi was friendly, extremely helpful, and when I offered to pay him for his time, he said there was no charge for the visit. I am so impressed with him. I will most definitely call him again for any plumbing problem that I have in the future.

Called at 9:00 PM with problem with backed up sewer. Said he would show up at 11:00 AM next day and showed up early and cleaned the drain for price quoted and did an excellent job. Very courteous and professional. did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Much better than all the others I have used in the past and agreed to come back every six months for maintenance on the line. Best plumber I have used for rooter service.Cheaper and better than all the big outfits that specilize in drain cleaning. Top notch!

I found Ca. Green Plumbing here on Angie's List. They have great reviews so I gave them a call to fix a slow draining tub (it always drained, it was just slow). I called and left a message and Raffi immediately called me back. He said he would come by that afternoon around 3p or a little after. He didn't show up until after 4p. When he got here we talked about the problem I was having and he said he just needed to snake the drain and it should only take about 10 minutes. After about 30 minutes of him working on the drain he said "I'm giving up" and that whatever was blocking the drain must have solidified and it couldn't be snaked. I went into the bathroom and saw that there was now 3 inches of sludge water in the tub that wasn't draining at all! He cleaned up the sides of the tub but was content with leaving me with the rest! I panicked and asked what needed to be done to get the tub to drain. He then said that it was a matter of replacing the pipes under the house that had the blockage. I asked if he could do that and he said he wouldn't be able to make it back for 2 days. It was like I was trying to convince him to do the job correctly! I was baffled at how he was willing to leave me with that sludge and with a drain that was in worse shape that before he started working on it.After Raffi left, I called another plumber for help. They discovered that the overflow valve was broken. Once they replaced the valve they were easily able to snake the drain and now my tub works perfectly.

This is my second review on California Green Plumbers. The first two times Raffi came to my house I was unable to use his services, but he was so quick to respond and professional, educating me clearly both times on the issues at hand that I wrote a review...the least I could do after he charged me nothing for all his time (he even crawled under my house to diagnose the problems!). Today I was finally able to pay Raffi for his time, and I am sold on California Green. Although my needs were minor, he responded quickly to my call and arrived early, apologetic for putting me out. He fixed both my kitchen and bathroom drains, replaced parts as needed and took his time to answer my questions about other plumbing issues (with a 1948 home, I always have lots of questions). His bill as well was quite reasonable. As I am new to the area and looking for quality contractors to help with "this old house", I am thankful to know that I now have an excellent plumber. I recommend California Green with the highest of praise!

Our first meeting with Raffi was shortly after we took possession of our home when we found a leak in the kitchen. We consulted Angie's list and chose CAL Green Plumbing. Within an hour of our call, Raffi was here and had located our problem -- a refrigerator connection (icemaker) that had not been capped off. We asked him at that time for a estimate to bring our pipes up to speed and a new tankless water heater. Months later, we contacted two other companies and received estimates -- Raffi's estimate seemed the fairest with the most honest evaluation of our system. We once again met with him and he gave us the same estimate, saying that it could be less if there was no need to replace a front pipe to the water main. He gave us an estimate of time needed to completely repipe the the house with copper piping and install a tankless water heater. True to his word, the work was complete as he proposed and the bill came in $600 less, since he found no reason to replace the front pipe. Weeks later we had a shower backup and once again Raffi came to our rescue. After examining the back drain leading to the sewer with his video camera, he found a large section of old clay pipe that was nearly full of roots that had come in from a crack. Four days later he and his crew removed the pipe and replaced it with suitable material. Raffi is dependable, personable and goes above and beyond to satisfy his customer. He and his crew are true professionals.

I called the CA Green Plumbing before 8am to schedule for a service. No one answered the phone, so I left a voice message with my call back number. I did not call other plumbers because this company has exceptional review and waited till 4:30pm that day. I thought I'd give it another chance and left another message at around 5pm. I can understand if someone just replied and told me that they don't service my area or that they were too busy. But again, I heard no reply! I feel obliged to report this is in my review for the company's "Responsiveness" and "Professionalism".

We called Raffi based on the reviews on Angie's List and I'm so happy we did. He stayed in touch with us when one of his appointments was running late and was just generally an all-around professional. He and his associate replaced a gnarly sewer pipe under my house into which the kitchen sink drains. It had rusted out and about 10-12 feet of pipe needed to be replaced. I thought $400 for the work he did was a good price, especially since he had to work in the muck that had accumulated for probably quite some time. He showed us the pipe afterwards and it was, to put it mildly - quite foul. I liked that he also surveyed the whole underside of my house and let us know the general condition of the pipes and what would eventually need to be replaced - maybe years from now. However, he didn't try to sell us on anything other than the repair that was at hand. He was just letting us know how things looked. I really appreciated his assessment and found it very helpful. Even though his schedule was quite booked, he also took the extra time to give us an estimate (he had to run a camera) for some sewer work which a previous plumber told me needed to be done. It's a big job and I considered Raffi's estimate to be very reasonable. I like knowing how much it will be so I can save up for it - before it becomes an emergency. To top it all off - he's just a really nice, friendly guy and has a great sense of humor. What more do you want? Once I find professional that I like, I stick with them and I will definitely be using Raffi again for any plumbing needs. Thanks, Raffi!!!

They were very professional. They called to note that they would be running late. They performed the work as agreed upon and I was absolutely satisfied with their work.

Repair was quick! Being that we need new pipes, he kept the cost down.

I have know him for a while now. I used to work with another plumber but switch to Raffi because it seems the more you work with him, the more he is willing to help you. The other day one of our bathroom backed up. He snaked the bathroom but the next day, the same bathroom backed up again. He snaked the same bathroom again the next day, AND the main sewer line, and he also did a camera inspection in the main sewer line and showed me what was causing the problem. He did ALL these for just $120 because he honored the first estimate he gave me. I will highly recommend him and will definitely continue to use him in the future!

Raffi did a great job. He handled everything except the hoses under the bathroom sink, which I need to place a special order for. Once we have the hoses, Raffi said he would come back and install with no extra charge. He was very professional and helpful. He even capped an underground pipe "blind," meaning he couldn't see the pipe because the hole was full of water but he reached in and did it by feel. Nice work all around.

He properly diagnosed the problem, but ultimately decided that he would be unwilling to fix it since the repair would be very risky due to the location of the valve. Although some homeowners may be put off by a plumber turning down a job, I was thankful that Raffi was honest about the problem. He warned that many professionals may compromise the house structure without telling me in order to fix the valve, so he educated me on how to proceed and how to protect myself. Throughout our time together Raffi was purely professional (and extremely nice!). I will definitely call California Green Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs!

In the wake of a family tragedy, we are expecting several houseguests in a matter of days and I needed to see to some faulty toilets in my folks' house. I'm from out of town and I did not have time to spend much time on the issue. Raffi fit me into his schedule and came out immediately. He tested, diagnosed, advised, and came back two days later to install some hardware. Raffi came on time and did a great job, and he did it quickly. He was also kind and respectful to our mother and you gotta love that. Cleaned up. Left no trace. Reasonable price and fantastic service. Call him. You wont regret it.

He was done in a lot less time than I expected. He did a through job. He even hauled away the parts so I didn't have to bother with them. I was very happy with Raffi.
