Raffi is my hero. Our water heater went out the day before New Years Eve... called Raffi on Sunday after checking out Angies List not really expecting to get anybody on the holiday weekend. Raffi picked up and came out to the house from another job he was doing. He checked out the situation, gave me a price for the new water heater and let me know about some other stuff that needed fixing and he came out the next day and did the job. Professional, friendly and knows his stuff. Highly recommend this company.

He came on time and was courteous and efficient. He knew exactly what to do unlike someone else who had come and seem quite confused. I would highly recommend him.

Newly purchased home. I had installed new gas logs in fireplace and a "leak" at the valve key was detected which rendered the new logs unuseable. Raffi the plumber came as scheduled (next day service and arrived five minutes EARLY) and told me a REPAIR was just as effective and more cost conscience than replacing the valve. He showed me the leak and showed me how he was to make the repair. The repair was done and he again showed me that the leak was no longer present and assured me the repair was "good as new". A replacement would have involved a lot of under the house work....tight spaces and concrete under fireplace to deal with...approx cost of that would have been $1000.00. I appreciated his honesty in suggesting a repair as opposed to insisting (as many would have) that the only safe solution would be to replace. A check written for $90 was much easier to swallow than a replacement cost of $1000.00. Raffi is first on my list for "call back" when a plumber is needed.

Raffi checked out my water heater and was able to turn the pilot on. He even showed me how to turn it on next time. He was very friendly and helpful. He charged me a discounted service fee. I asked another company to come earlier in the day and those guys were going to charge me more than $800. I was reassured by Raffi's honesty. I will definitely call on him again next time I have a problem with the water heater.

The job went very smoothly.

He did a very thorough job of inspecting the house from a plumbing aspect despite not finding source of smell. Also very professional and willing to explain things.

It was all good. On time, quick installation, no problems.

Raffi was able to make an appointment for the day after I called. He was on time and courteous - and just plain pleasant to be around. We showed him the slow drains and it turned out that neither was clogged - we didn't know and he could have charged us for snaking them, but instead he showed us what was causing the problem (two different issues). The hot water issue was also resolved quickly and everything is working perfectly now. We've used a few plumbers (to no avail on the not-really-clogged-clogged drain) but now we've found our go-to guy.

They were ridiculously punctual. Called me at work to review the issue...we reviewed some "extra" options...settled on exactly what needed to be done, and less than an hour later it was finished. Highly recommended!

The old cast iron supply pipe next to the pressure regulator sprung a leak. Upon seeing the piping which was badly rusted Raffi advised that he couldn't guarantee it wouldn't come apart underground when he started trying to unscrew things. I had to agree, and the prospect of rolling the dice for two days without water if the buried pipes gave up the ghost, I decided it would be best not to put off the inevitable repipe. Raffi and his crew were back the next two days cutting the driveway concrete, tunneling under the walkway and trenching the small lawn leading to the house and sprinkler nexus and then laying the new pipe. I must say the necessary cut through the drive was done as cleanly as one could hope, tucked against the edge of the walkway stairs. I have a mason coming to fill it, but while it will not look perfect like it was, it should look OK. Part of my concern was getting the water hooked up to the two sprinkler legs. I imagined a rats nest of old supply and sprinkler pipes we'd have to deal with. Raffi made the wise decision to simply run some new PVC. One leg to the left to the cluster of sprinklers for the front of the property and the second to the right to pick up the pipe running to the back of the house.I had shown him where the pipe had been previously repaired. He dug it up and made the new connection. He also provided me with a second ball valve to control the sprinkler leg at my request. The extra work for the sprinklers was thrown in to the original quote. All in all, Raffi and his crew did the job cleanly, quickly and for the agreed sum. I can see why he has a good reputation here. I add my endorsement to the others.

They service was good. He did a good job.

Raffi is great for several reasons. 1. He serviced my home, even though it was out of his area. 2. He charged me exactly what I was quoted, despite me being (accidentally) late to the appointment, my location being way out of his service area, and the process taking longer than expected. 3. I was billed hourly for one person, even though there were two people working. 4. He connected some electrical wires on the dishwasher that really don't fall under the plumber's umbrella of expertise. 5. Everything seems to be working correctly. 6. He was a cool dude, overall. Will certainly be hiring him again when I have some bigger jobs to do down the line.

Our water bill had doubled in price over the course of 4 months (2 billing cycles) so we wanted a plumber to check the house and sprinklers for leaks. I scheduled an appointment for 1PM on a Friday - Raffi showed up a bit early, which was great, and got started. He checked the water meter, line to the house, toilet, sink, shower, pipes under the house and sprinklers. He was honest and thorough and explained what he was looking for every step of the way. This is always nice as a homeowner to help you better understand these kinds of things for future repair. In the end the issue was leaking sprinkler heads. The total bill was $75 for roughly an hour of his time - very affordable. I would ABSOLUTELY use again as well as recommend California Green Plumbing.

He's great. On time, works fast, works clean, very friendly and polite, super reasonable. Plumbers like this are hard to find. What a joy.

Raffi came to give me a free estimate the day after I contacted him and quoted me a fair price for the job. I explained that we were busy with other house repairs and didn't want the new toilet for several weeks. He did not take a deposit and we just shook hands on the deal. I was very impressed as he had no way of knowing whether or not he had really secured this job. When I did contact him to set up an installation date, he stuck with his quoted price, showed up EARLY for the job, completed the task in a very efficient manner and left the place as clean as he had found it. All around I am very pleased and expect to use Raffi for future plumbing jobs. He's responsible, polite, and easy to work with.

Raffi offered an appointment that was convenient, he was on time and fixed the problems for a reasonable price. I will call again for future plumbing needs.

Raffi was communicative, timely, his pricing is fair and we have hot water now! He also gave us an excellent referral for an electrician who came in with the most solid bid on the work that is needed.

He also checked a drain and a faucet at my request, and, again, said I had no problem. Two men, about 45 minutes, and only $75. Amazing! He will be my plumber for life!

Overall it was a great experience.

There was only one telephone conversation and no business transaction

Technician was quick, timely and did as advertised. He also gave me some tips on how to keep the main drain lines clear of roots.

This is the best plumber you will find anywhere in the LA area. I just had a horrible experience with another plumber who was called to clear our toilet drains, ended up trying, but failing, to replace the toilet (which I had to buy separately) and a drain worse than it was before he started. Our old toilet was somewhat non-standard and had space issues. I called Raffi who answered the phone himself. Over the phone he asked me to make some measurements and completely understood the situation. His scheduling was extremely flexible and the estimate was very reasonable ($400). He arrived on time, did the job without a hitch, gave me lots of advice on how to maintain it and recover my lost money. And on top of that gave me an extra discount ($380), which included everything including the toilet!

Raffi was amazing! We needed trench less re-piping for our house, after a disastrous weekend when the pipe failed and everything backed up into the house. Not only was his estimate very competitive (less than half of what some others quoted) but he was professional, punctual, and even though the job was harder than he originally thought (due to the rocky and compact soil under our front yard) he stayed with the agreed upon price. He even showed me how the trench less pipe equipment worked, pretty cool! I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues.

We had a broken older toilet and not one of the more popular brands. Raffi knew exactly how to fix it where another plumber couldn't. I called in the morning and he came out before noon. He was ALL-AROUND EXCELLENT!!! Same-morning fast response, very professional and honest in his pricing. He honored his coupon on Angie's List. The repair was quick and he was very neat and clean while working. This was the first time I used California Green Plumbing and will definitely use again! As plumbing repairs go, it's not my favorite thing to have as a home owner based on our experience with other plumbers in the past. However, Raffi was in and out super fast, very pleasant and friendly and had a professional work ethic that I appreciated! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
