+ -1 moreI had an outdoor sink installed on my patio. I told the owner what I needed over the phone and he gave me a very fair quote and he stuck to the price. When he came to look at the job I could tell by the way he described how he would do it that he was going to do a better, more professional job than another company I got an earlier (and more expensive) quote. He did the job within a couple of days and exactly as described. The owner is also very personable and pleasant. I'm looking forward to using California Green Plumbing for my next plumbing job. I wish all contractors were this easy to work with.

+ -1 moreRaffi replaced a trap behind our washing machine, which was causing the drain to back up when we did large loads. He also redid the piping going from sewage pump up to the sewage drain. Both were clean, prompt, excellent jobs. It has been 2-3 months and no leaks or anything. He was the only one of three who came out to see it to figure out what was wrong and the best way to fix it. He was easy to work with and very flexible. I'd definitely hire him again.

Rappi the owner asked for the $3000.00 worth of material which I don't have any problem. The worker were very polite and they were on the job everyday. They worked with me to prevent the interruptions of water supply. They did the whole Job with no problem. Rappi the owner stayed in the job site until the city inspector sign off the permit.
Description of Work: California Green Plumbing installed New cpper pipe for the entire house and tankless water heater. They did on excellent job.

Raffi did a great job of replacing my old water heater with a new unit and brought everything up to code. I uploaded a photo so everyone can see the quality of his work. Other than a new water heater you would have never known he was there. No mess at all!

I left both my phone number and email and asked them to please get back to me as soon as possible. It's now 24 hours later and they never contacted me. Not a huge deal - maybe they had a super-busy few days, but it is frustrating, nonetheless.

+ -1 moreRaffi came the same day I called him to give me an estimate on my sewer problem. He used a camera to show me the problem and didn't charge for it. The other company charged me $120 for the camera inspection. On the day the worker was scheduled to come, he was about an hour late, but Raffi called me to let me know and to apologize. The worker was also very polite and immediately got to work. After the work was completed, he used the camera to show me what the pipes looked like after hydrojetting and they looked clean as a whistle! Raffi was very professional and pleasant to deal with! I will definitely hire him again for my future plumbing needs! The entire process went smoothly.
Description of Work: Tree roots were clogging my sewer pipes and xlean out needed to be replaced.

+ 0 moreHe arrived 30 minutes early today and had the whole job done, old one out new one in, with in an hour and a half. It was awesome. He has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. I would also like to say the water pressure in my shower is now amazing!
Description of Work: Old water heater was leaking. I had Raffi out two days ago to see if he could fix the leak. He made it very clear that our water heater was to far gone and that he could try to fix the leak but I would probably end up paying him to do that and then replace it anyways. I knew he was right. He was honest enough to also say if I begged him to try and fix it he wouldn't just because he knew it would be a waste of time. He quoted me $850 for a new water heater and said he could be out the next day to do the job. I decided to call around and get some other quotes first. After calling lowes and other plumbers, Raffi came in at the lowest price.

+ 0 moreI am satisfied with the work performed and would use them again for other plumbing repairs. Raffi was punctual and finished the work in 2-3 hours.
Description of Work: Raffi arrived punctually and quickly determined that I needed to replace the 19-year old unit. He also noticed that the inlet pipe was leaking and needed to be repaired. The $1,200 price includes replacing the water heater ($950) and repairing the pipe and replacing the inlet valve ($250). The new unit is a high efficiency, low NOX model. The repaired pipe and valve look better than the original setup, so I should be good for the next 15-20 years. Excellent work at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: I had previously left a positive review for this plumber but then everything went to h***. Unfortunately I have to change my review. This company re-piped my house. I felt like the price was fair and the work was completed on a timely manner. First I noticed that they reversed my hot and cold water on my shower. When they came to correct it, it appeard to be very difficult for them. They were under the house for hours and there was lots of shouting in spanish between the guy outside and the guy under the house. They made the correction and left but I then noticed that much more rust was coming out of my shower than before the repiping. I thought it was from all the jostling of the pipes but it persisted for weeks. I asked Raffi to come inspect and make sure that there wasn't a problem. It occured to me that maybe they couldn't correct the hot/cold issue so they just left the old pipes by my shower. He promised to come that week. At the end of the week I called and and was told that he forgot but will be sure to come by the next week. We repeated this for approxamately 4 weeks. When he sensed my growing frustration he then lied and told me that he came the day before and inspected. He told me that all the pipes were new copper. What he didn't know is that I took the day off of work and I was home all that day. He showed up unannounced the next day. He then inspected and informed me that the problem wasn't the pipes but rather the valve in that shower. This made sense to me as this shower was the only place we were still getting rust and the valve did have a slow leak. I agreed to pay him another $500.00 to install a new valve. We scheduled 10 days in advance for last Saturday. We waiting all morning and he failed to show or call. I finally called and spoke with him. He did not apologize and only said that he was busy. He said that he would call me within 30 minutes to let me know what time he would be there. He never called and never showed up. We waisted a Saturday waiting for him when we could have used our precious time for other things. I officially give up on this clown. He is unreliable, dishonest and a poor excuese for a businessman.

+ -1 moreRaffli came out because I had water seeping up from under my front porch. He found that the leak immediately , it was come from under ground pipes going to my upstairs bathroom. Estimated cost to fix or repairs was $1,800.00. I let Raffi know that I could not have the repairs completed at that time, but would be calling him back to complete the work at a later date. Rafi was very knowledgible and professional. I will be calling him within the next couple of weeks to do the repairs.

+ 0 moreRafi is now our plumber. And if you need a plumber Rafi should be yours too. We started having a problem with our hot water heater and called him. Rafi came over and instead of selling us a new water heater fixed the heater with a minor repair. The cost was $120. We then discussed improving the speed in which we get hot water and he suggested a circulating pump. A few days later he came and installed it. He was fast, clean and provided all his services at a fair price. Plus he loved hour dog and she liked him.

+ -1 moreRaffi did everything perfectly. He called to confirm he was on his way, and arrived exactly on time. The rate structure was exactly what we had talked about on the phone. He took plenty of pictures under the house to show me what was going on, and offered multiple solutions to fix the problem. He didn't pressure me on anything, and showed me the damaged parts after the job. He finished very very quickly as well. Finally, he asked if I was happy with the job before he left... something I've never had a contractor do before! Awesome! Will definitely continue to use Raffi from this point out!
Description of Work: Our shower drain was leaking under the house. Raffi cut out the incorrectly installed pipe and replaced it with something that didn't leak.

+ -1 moreWe found a leak in a pipe that appeared to be coming from just behind a grate in the wall near the hot water heater. After checking Angie's List for plumbers, found California Green Plumbing had high ratings and a couple of awards, so gave them a call. Spoke to Raffi and arranged an appointment for the next day, "after 3pm," which was fine, since the leak didn't appear to be small and we were getting hot water. At about 2:40, got a call from Raffi saying he was in front of our house. Early! Wow. Raffi immediately found the leak and was able to repair it quickly. The price he charged was much lower than I expected, Raffi was very polite, great demeanor, and when I asked him about upgrading my water heater to a continuous flow type, he discouraged the idea rather than grab what could be a very expensive amount of work. This was a great experience. I would highly recommend Raffi to anyone who needs a plumber and will definitely call him again when the needs arises.

He called back right away, set up the appointment for a Saturday, he was right on time, did exactly the work he anticipated needed to be done from our conversation on the phone and was right around the ballpark figure he gave me on the phone. I would highly recommend him and his card is now my "official" plumber card!

+ -1 moreActually California Green first came out on Dec. 18, 2012 because my hot water tank wasn't working. He came out at 7:00 p.m. and unfortunately couldn't help me because only GE could do the work. He explained the problem to me and then I told him about my leak from the handles in the shower that some other company had come out and said they would have to break the entire wall out, and then it would be my problem to put it back and it would cost $1500. California Green said why break out a whole wall when you can just make a small hole and then put an access door in. He didn't even charge me for coming out that night. I then had him come out January 9, 2013 and he did a wonderful job replacing the shower valve and putting in the access door. He also fixed one of my toilets, snaked the main line all for $760, which was a much lower price than the first company I had contacted. He was very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Would definitely call him again. Was so pleased with his work, expertise and his price.
