Easy Movers

I really struggled with leaving a bad review because the crew was SO NICE. However. We hired easy movers because of the high ratings on Angie's List. I specifically told the woman who quoted the move that we had a piano that needed to go upstairs, a treadmill to go upstairs, and a 10x20 storage unit which was completely full. They recommended and I agreed to two trucks and five guys. My first problem is how slow the team was. We used a different company to do the first move and they moved the same amount of stuff with only three guys and in three fewer hours. It took five guys almost three hours more. My second problem is that the team leader refused to take the piano upstairs and wasn't really even nice about it. Not only that, they killed 1/2 an hour or more while he discussed it with the owner or manager. I told him that I specifically requested a piano be taken upstairs and that my crew was quoted accordingly. Ultimately I was told to choose between signing a waiver for the piano and the hardwood floors or leaving the piano downstairs. My third problem was the amount of damage to our furniture. One bed was chipped which i pointed out and they immediately remembered seeing the piece in the truck and brought it in to patch. Two large heavy desks were inexplicably placed on their SIDE in the garage and when asked to be righted, were dragged so now are showing damage where they had none before. This was a big, heavy job and the guys were very, very nice but it cost me almost twice as much as the first half of the move cost, took much longer, and did more damage. Would not recommend.
