He did a good job of matching the texture of the rough stucco outside as well as the more refined plaster interior.

Prompt response to request for an estimate and then started and finished the job right on schedule. This is the third time we have had to re-finish this wall and this looks like it will be the best job yet and will hold up indefinitely. Terry did the work himself and was very professional and pleasant to work with. When I asked him about a final paint job he acknowledged that I could get a less expensive painting from a painting company since he specialized in the plastering and stucco work although he could also do the painting.

Terry was able to complete the job in one full day. He returned a few days latter to touch up one small spot.

Great. Called Terry. He gave me a quote. He and his co-worker came out and finished the job in two days. They were prompt, professional and clean. He called me after the job was complete to see if I had any concerns.

Terry did well and finished the job in less than three full days, as estimated. We have re-painted the rooms and the surfaces look like new. It was well worth it.

Terry came a day earlier than he said he could because he had finished another job early. He did the job as he described he would. He went about it efficiently, communicated effectively, and finished within a few hours. He and his helper did a beautiful job. When he finished, he told me exactly what he did and showed me the materials he used to water proof the area. I gave him a check. He gave me the invoice for my records. All in all, I would give him and A++ for excellent work, responsibility, professionalism, communication and supreme expertise in his field. Thanks to other Angie's List reviews I was able to hire the best.

His price was good and he was very professional The location was very challenging due to it being on a very steep grade in the hills. This increased the price but Terry was upfront with this from the outset. Terry also helped us decide on a stucco color which was dark green so as to blend structural walls into environment. Neighbors all commented on how good the job looked. I'd use him again.

Mr Carver was very generous with his time and knowledge and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Terry came on time, was true to his estimate, and did a nice job. Despite the 100+ degree temperatures we were experiencing during the time he was here, he got the job done on time and it looked good. We asked him to repair the lathe from an electrical box replacement, and to repair other stucco problems around the house. He did an excellent job with both the big, and the small projects. We liked him so much, we called him again at the end of the month to do another small repair for us. He came the very next day, and got the job done lightening fast! I would recommend him again to anyone.

Terry Carver, the company owner, came out and assessed the damage, made recommendations and gave us an estimate, all of which we felt was quite reasonable, considering the amount of work that had to be done. Work started a few days later. Terry estimated that it would take three days, to allow time for each layer of concrete to dry. The bottom third of the garage wall was taken down to the studs, a trench was dug at the ground line to allow extra space for the repair, new waterproof paper was installed, then chicken wire, two coats of concrete and then the stucco finish coat. Thanks to warm weather and expert work, Terry and one helper finished the entire job, including some touchup work on the second wall, in two days. He did a beautiful job of feathering the new stucco into the old, matched the texture perfectly, and he matched the color of the new stucco incredibly close to the color of the existing wall. This was a first class job in every way. Terry and his assistant are both great guys, as well.

We called Terry on a Wednesday....he returned our call that evening and scheduled a time (2 days later) to come by to give us a quote. We accepted the quote and he returned to complete the work 1 week later. He had an assistant the first day, but completed much of the work himself. The job site was left clean. We would highly recommend Terry.

Terry is very professional, extremely pleasant and highly knowledgeable. Not even the Dunn-Edwards consultant, the Farmer's Insurance structural engineer nor the Farmer's construction consultant correctly identified the cause of the problems. Carver's Plastering will be my choice when I get around to doing interior plastering.

I called Terry Carver after reviewing his Angie's List comments. He came out the day after I called him to give me the estimate. I got 6 estimates from different companies and Terry's price was right in the middle. After reviewing all the other estimates we chose Terry because of his knowledge and because he did the work himself. I am so glad we did. What a true professional. He is very personable, honest, and clearly defines the scope of the job.He helped us chose a color by buying color samples (out of his own pocket) and applied them to a wall behind the garage. We tried three colors before deciding an a nice neutral. After getting to know Terry we felt that he was really looking out for us and wanted to do the best for our house. When my wife found some Spanish tiles and house numbers Terry held the job a day so we could get them delivered then he embedded them in the front stucco for no additional charge. They look beautiful. When the job was complete I noticed that there were a few areas that looked uneven in color, darker than the surrounding areas, mainly due to the uneven substrate. Terry returned and corrected it by spraying a color coat over the area to lighten it. The man is a true craftsman and the colors dried perfectly.We are extremely happy with the results and highly recommend him

Terry arrived a bit earlier than expected, but that completely worked for us. I'm sure if we hadn't been ready, he would have waited. He matched the existing stucco very well, cleaned up everything after-I couldn't have been happier unless it had been free!:-)

He is a consummate professional and my wife and I are very happy with the result. I will definitely be hiring Terry again to do more stucco (and some interior plastering) work in the future. FYI - Terry is a one man shop - he does all the work himself - so don't be concerned if he doesn't have a big $1M workers comp policy or major insurance coverage etc - since he doesn't bring any other workers onto your property you don't have to worry. This is how he keeps the cost down. His estimate was at least 20% less than most other contractor's I had bid out the job and he did excellent work.

Terry was very easy to reach and schedule an estimate. After agreeing to a price for the job, he stuck to his word and got the job done. The city inspectors kept changing what they wanted and expected, but Terry never changed the original agreed to price, even though the job ended up taking more time and work than expected. I would not hesitate to recommend and hire him again. I can guarantee that he will complete the job well and for the agreed to price. I have no doubt that Terry completed the work as he would have on his own home. Thank you Terry! You are the prime example of an excellent contractor!

Terry did terrific work for us! He was incredibly professional and really knows what he's doing. He was very easy to work with, and I think he went above and beyond in order to finalize the job and give us just what we wanted. Terry first tore down the awful-looking shingles on the front of our house. Then, when we realized that the windows we had purchased were the wrong size (this mistake was ours, not Terry's) he advised us on the best way to move forward. This problem, which was not his doing, probably messed up his schedule, but Terry did not complain, and was unbelievably helpful in returning the wrong windows, and ordering and picking up the right windows. The stucco job is impeccable. Our house was easily the ugliest one on the block, and I'm so very happy with the look of the house now! Terry came in exactly on budget, and his time estimates were always spot on for the stucco work. He obviously is very experienced. Aside from his great work, what I most appreciated about Terry was his demeanor. He is calm, friendly, and professional, and his assistant was the same. All in all, a great experience! Highly recommended.

We called Terry needing assistance with plastering the ceiling of our master bathroom remodel. We needed almost immediate assistance in order to keep on a strict timeline as my contractor had to finish the job by the end of the week. Terry came over the same day of our first call to take a look and give us a quote. In addition he was able to come do the work the very next day. He was professional, his work was outstanding, and he cleaned up completely. I did not get other quotes but I thought the price was on the average to higher side....however I also believe you get what you pay for and Terry did an excellent job and helped us out in a pinch. While he was here I had him check out some stucco outside that was peeling....he was able to fix that the same day. He was able to texture the stucco to EXACTLY match the surrounding stucco. Awesome!! I would recommend him without hesitation and say that his work is worth every penny of his quote. 6/1/12: Update: I found one more patch of stucco that needed patching. I called Terry to get a quote (because where he patched the stucco before was done very well) and he came out to give the quote. He said that he would do it for free because he had patched the stucco previously and we must have missed the new spot. He came out within a week (because he was fitting it in when he was in the area), and again did an excellent job patching the stucco. He is amazing....very professional and does an excellent job!!!

great. Terry was very responsive and did a fantastic job. He always answered my calls anytime of the day or evening. Terry did all the work himself and is quite the artist / professional.

Called Terry on a Friday, he came out on Saturday morning to give me an estimate and do the work. He would have gotten here on time but his GPS sent him all the way up into the mountains because we had a minor spelling miscommunication of my street name. Woops! He did a really great job at repairing the hole. He explained to me what he was doing each step along the way so I could understand the process more. I really appreciated this. He matched the texture of his work to the texture already on my walls. A contractor friend of mine came by the house after Terry had left and commented on what a great job he did. This guy has a knack for ragging on peoples work so Terry must've done a really great job!

We have a stucco wall that over time had slowly incurred water damage and the sand finish had begun flaking off in large pieces. The first person I called was Terry whom we had never used before but I always trust Angie's list referrals. He arrived on time for the estimate, was friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. We decided to go with him and he arrived on time the next day and completed the job efficiently and beautifully. I would highly recommend Terry for any stucco or plastering work - we were very pleased.

Terry arrived on time, and repaired my ceiling. He took time to make sure the ceiling repair was smooth and professional. He had warned me before that the repair would not match the old ceiling completely. But the repair is very close to the original color of the ceiling, and I am extremely pleased with the result.

I am extremely pleased with the process. Terry completed the job in about a week. Whole house now looks great with even stucco colors and even surfaces. The price was very competitive and comparable to the other bids I've got. There were no extra charges and I paid as we agreed. I am very happy with Terry's work and would highly recommend.
