Description of Work: We had about a 12-18 inch hole in our stucco due to the repair of the electrical box. We called Terry and explained what we needed; Terry had done stucco repair for us previously. He said he would stop by the next morning and put on the first layer and come back in the evening to apply the finish coat. That's exactly what he did; it looks great; and he didn't charge us anything. I don't think I mentioned it on my first review of Carver Plastering, but he left us with a bag of the color mix that he had carefully matched to our stucco. That was foresight that paid off here and another plus for Carver Plastering

Description of Work: Got a quote from Terry for some stucco work, but his quote was a good deal higher than the others. Very nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional.

Description of Work: Terry covered big hole in interior wall that was the result of plumbing work. He covered hole, then plastered it, then sprayed it with "orange peel" texture.

Description of Work: Restuccoed under a cantilevered portion of an apartment building and around a new post set into a wall. Fixed various holes and cracks around the building. Met with building inspector for various sign offs.

Description of Work: There was considerable water damage to the exterior of the house. Cracks, buckling and one extreme problem area where the stucco had cracked away revealing the exposed interior structure. The first part of the job was to repair the damage and get the house watertight. Terry then recommended that we sandblast to remove the 3 layers of old paint and patching and give us a clean surface to apply new stucco. There was an addition that had an old door painted over in part of the wall, partial painted wood paneled facing on another wall. He removed the wood, prepped the wall and re-stuccoed to give a smooth, professional finish all around. There were also old metal awnings that he removed, along with a warped exterior door on the the water heater closet which he replaced. Additionally there was an old non-functioning air conditioner that had been inserted into a fireplace wall. He removed this, stuccoed the outside to create a smooth finish, and replaced the interior hole with a shelf. In addition to this he noticed some cracking on the roof around some of the vents when he was stuccoing a cement chimney, and he re-tarred all of the vents to prevent leakage.

Description of Work: When we had our kitchen remodeled, our overhead vent exhaust had to be moved by 12 inches. As a result, a section of the outside wall had to be cut out. So the section had to be wired and stuccoed.

Description of Work: We had removed a set of stairs which required a large stucco patch. In addition, we had numerous stucco patches from old plumbing penetrations from the water heater. And four new foundation vents.

Description of Work: A two-story section of my old apartment building was damaged by termites and water. I found a carpenter to demolish and re-frame the area and install new windows and doors but he could not do stucco. Terry Carver stalled new heavy-weight lath, secured it with large glue coated staples applied pneumatically and then troweled on multiple layers of mortar. The final result matched the existing surface and style, including the original doorway arch.

Description of Work: Terry did lath and stucco with two coats of cement on my chimney. I have also had him do other work, including re-plastering the ceiling in my bedroom and stucco work on an outside wall. I have a 1929 Spanish house and wanted him to replicate the texture of the ceiling in keeping with the look of the period. Terry understood perfectly what was needed. He knows his craft.
