He was prompt, professional and thorough. He explained everything to me - showed me things about my new (old) house that helps me to understand how the wiring is set up. He took out all of the old hazardous wiring, which was my main concern and replaced it. He showed me the quality of the replacement wiring, as well. I was extremely happy with the job he did and how responsive he was. Have only been in the house a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. Have since had a plumbing issue that was unrelated to anything he had worked on and he came over an fixed it the same day - even though he was working across town on another project. That's the kind of service that's hard to find these days. I will call Jerry for everything electrical and plumbing!

Jerry let us know all the details required to replace our heater. Gave some honest opinions about which heaters to obtain, as well as options for installation methods. Although we were needing a new heater during a holiday weekend, he said he'd try his best to get us a water heater ASAP--and that he did! On the holiday Monday, he called, telling me he could install that evening. He did a great job, left the area clean, and we had hot water once again.

We set up an appointment and he came right on time. He checked out the situation and explained the various options I had. I chose the one that seemed best for me. He did not pressure me to pick the most expensive option. We set an appointment to do the work and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He offered to pull an in an extension cord off of an outside plug that runs off the main box so that I could work on my computer. He brought an assistant with him and they got started right away. Since they were working as a team, they were able to work very quickly. The electricity was only off for a few hours. His work was meticulous. Every little crack and space was sealed. There was no mess left anywhere. While he was working on the reverse osmosis system, Jerry discovered a compatibility issue with the RO system and the faucet that I had. He figured out a way to make it work, instead of telling me that I would have to buy some more expensive hardware. I really appreciated that. After everything was finished (several hours sooner than I thought it would be) he and his assistant even took the time to go through my whole house with me so we could label the breakers according to which went with which plugs, lights, and appliances. I will never again have to run in and out of the house to see if I flipped the right breaker. I will definitely call Jerry for any future electrical or plumbing needs. His prices were very fair. Also, by calling him you get a two-fer: a licensed electrician and plumber in one.

EXCELLENT! The building inspector commented 3 times about how excellent their work was. All rough work was precisely located within an 1/8 of an inch. Jerry and his crew were exceptionally easy to work with, on time, and very flexible in rescheduling if an unexpected delay arose. One of the best things about them is they always asked questions about exactly what we wanted and where - they did not assume, or just go off the plans. A rare kudo for that! By far the best experience I've ever had with an electrician or plumber. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Straight A's.

They are still doing it. It's quite a big job. The first estimate was $4900 and now for the plumbing which is separate, it is going to be $990. They are very efficient. They do what they say they are going to do. They are always punctual and can get them when we are in need of. We went with him even though he was the highest bidder because he does prominent work and my mom wanted him. Their price is right there. I am paying them the price because I want them to do the job. I am going to be doing some electrical for my house and would consider them for a quote.

Jerry came over on a Thursday to evaluate what work was needed. He was on time, professional and friendly. He gave a very competitive estimate. He was very knowledgeable and again very professional. he and his crew came out on Monday as promised and did the work in one day as promised.The quality of work was great. We would definitely call upon JKI again for electrical needs and of course highly recommend them.

When I first contacted Jerry, he was very responsive and came out quickly to estimate the cost to repair/replace a low voltage light. He had to order a replacement fixture and said that it would take several days to get in the light but he would call me that afternoon to confirm he ordered it. No phone call. This was the week before Christmas. Christmas came and went and still no phone call. Called Jerry Monday after Christmas to follow-up. He said the order got lost in the shuffle due to the holidays but he would reorder, the fixture should be in that Wednesday or Thursday and he would call. No phone call. Gave up contacting him again.

He returned with a new fixture and in about 20 minutes replaced the old wire and installed the new light. He cleaned up afterward. I asked him while he was here to give me an overview estimate should I want to updgrade the wiring for the whole house in the future. I found Jerry very personable and knowledgable. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an electrician for big jobs or small like mine.

Jerry called to confirm our appointment and arrived right on time. I had a list of what I wanted him to do and we walked through each item. On several items, he made suggestions to help simplify the work or provide a better result. Jerry provided me with a clear, firm written estimate within 2 days. On the day he was to do the work, he showed up on time, with all the materials he needed. He did all the work I requested, cleaning up each area he worked in, leaving me only the owner's manuals for the fans. All boxes, old parts and dirt and dust left with him. His plumbing work was excellent. Overall, he was clean, friendly and knowledgeable. I would gladly use him again as needed.

No complaints. Jerry had patience and guarantees his work. A pleasure to do business with.

Jerry is very competent both as a plumber and as an electrician. I had several outlets that needed updating and safety checks, and a bathroom sink that was clogged because a pipe below it was broken. I appreciated the way he explained what he was doing, and what a homeowner needed to look out for. And, instead of charging me for a garage door repair, he showed me an alternate way to work the remote so that it functioned.

Jerry was easy to work with. His prices were in line with other estimates. I decided to go with him because he was easy to communicate with and willing to give me several options to get things done.

I am a general contractor and my usual sub-contractors were not available for a particular job. I found Jerry and JKI Electric and Plumbing through another general contractor friend. Jerry was there on time and ready to work. He knew what he was doing and what he was talking about. I called him for electrical work on a new addition I was doing and ended up using him for the plumbing work as well. He was there every day checking up on his workers and even working with them till they finished. Jerry installed a new electrical panel for me along with recessed lights and wired all new addition. They also did all the plumbing work necessary for the new bathroom addition. He had no problems with the inspections and made my job very comfortable. They stayed late hours and finished the job on time. I have worked with many sub contractors and must say my experience with Jerry was a very good one.

We wore opening a Frieplace store in Burbank and we had some Electric comp. stop in to give us free estimates and one of them was JKI Electric. JKI Electric showed up the day we wanted them to come. He spent an hr. in here with us giving us all the information we need to have the store lighted and gave us some energy saving tips. The price that they asked was very risanoble and we had him start the work the next week. They installed all the new lights in the store. We had him put in about 30 ressesed lights in here and some new outlets around the store. It look great when they wore done. I started having some electrical problems in my house. Lights kept flickering, and my outlets kept going out as well. I called around to a few places and was very irritated. A lot of places just wanted to give me an estimate over the phone, and the ones who came out were giving me prices that I couldn't afford. A friend referred me to Jerry at JKI electric. He came out the same day to give me an estimate. He found out that what everyone else was telling me wasn't quite accurate. It was a lot less work that needed to be done. He gave me the estimate, told me to think about it and give him a call back. I called Jerry the next day to do the job. He came out a couple of hours later, fixed my problem and took more money off the estimate because he said it didn't take him as long as he thought. From now on I will always call Jerry for my electrical issues. He told me that he also does plumbing as well, so he will get my business for that as well.
