CalGreen was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Quotes provided at the beginning of the job were spot on. I've already had them back to replace a light switch and install a ceiling fan.

It went great. Jerry came out and gave us a written quote for the work and we scheduled with him later that same day. Jerry showed up on time and ready to go. Very professional. We have recommended him to friends and everyone is very happy with his work.

Upgraded the electrical box on the exterior of the house, also brought the weather head up to code. Professional and pleasant. Have recommended the company to a neighbor.

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially when it could possibly have been a simple oversight, but I have yet to hear from the vendor. Talked to them on Monday and made an appointment for Tuesday between 12P-1P. I am about an hour's drive to where the work needed to be done. I sat around for about 3 hours. Finally at 1:30P I called the business only to get an answering machine. Left a message. Never heard back from the business. Even days later, I still never received a reason as to why he was a no-show.

Professional service-- representative was punctual, honest and friendly. Work was completed as promised. Would use services again and would highly recommend.

He is just fabulous. He was very good at determining where the lights should be placed not only for lighting purposes but for decorative purposes, as well. His prices were very reasonable.

It went very well and we're happy with the result! I really like Jerry and would definitely hire him again. He was very straightforward, easy to work with, had a good sense of humour and was an all around nice guy. All of his crew were professional and friendly (thanks for the coffee, Nick and Greg!). They worked very quickly and really got our project off to a great start! I think the thing I appreciate the most about CalGreen is that I hired them with the idea that we were finishing updating the electrical and plumbing and that's how Jerry approached and bid the project. He made sure we were aligned on what we wanted to accomplish. He and his coworker placed everything perfectly. One thing that was a little different from normal: I volunteered to run to a hardware store to pick something up. Here's why: - His estimate was hundreds of dollars lower than a contractor I'd used before - He was going out of his way to meet my vision even though the way the house was built created hindrances - His first born was due any moment; his excitement was infectious The best experience I've had with a contractor so far.

I left the relevant information but, a day-and-a-half later, have received no return call. Given the lack of professionalism, I will not be using this company.

They completed the job in one day. Installers communicated and asked questions as they arose. I am satisfied with their service and quality of their work.

I talked to someone at Calgreen Electric and explained my problem and they were very nice, professional, and seemed to be very honest with me. I was told that they would contact me by the end of the day to let me know if they could come out that day or the next day. I never received a call back. so I left a message asking if they were still going to come out. Never heard back. I felt really good about them on our initial phone conversation but was rather disappointed that they didn't call me back. Moved on and hired another company.

I called Calgreen/JKI Electrics & Plumbing to see if they would do a smaller job. Jerry (owner) actually answered the phone and said no problem! He worked around my schedule, 3 days after initial call, Jerry was at my door! He was friendly and worked efficiently. Switched out the two chandeliers in no time! He was great! Will definitely use again when the need arises. Also, gave my landlady his card for our building use in the future. AAA+!!

He was very clear, prompt, seemingly upfront about cost and causes of the wiring problems I was having. I was very grateful because the person that came right before him told me the same information but didn't fix my problem. I think they were more interested in the up-sell than actually fixing something. I will definitely be using Calgreen for my bigger job based on this honesty and for actually fixing my broken light - a problem that many have called "too small" to come out to fix.

I found Jerry to be very responsive. Once I decided to use his services, we agreed on a date and time. Because he was running a bit late, he called to let me know. I appreciate the call. He got right to work and did a very good job. After completing the work, he vacuumed the area. I will use him in the future.

Jerry and his men arrived early in the morning on the first day, and while they worked around my wife, were able to accomplish a lot over the next few days as well. They were quiet, quick and Jerry made sure to check with us about certain requirements. He had had conversations about the type of lighting whether it was going to be LED, Halogen, low voltage already, but then also checked with us on our final choice for placement and even the lightbulb power. We even had a visit to a local contractors store where we could see how low voltage, LED lighting worked for the kitchen e.g. This was a great idea and we really appreciated how Jerry went out of his way to make sure we knew what we were getting. This was a concern of mine and one of the reason other contractors didn't get the job. They wanted to impose their ideas, or just displayed a lack of knowledge in this area. We wanted someone who might not be cheap, but instead showed interest in getting what we needed. Design of recessed lighting in ceilings is important and we soon saw that each room had to be modified even from the earlier plans we thought would be perfect. Certain lights do certain things, and so Jerry was able to walk us through and even to change lights if they weren't right in the end. It seemed having a professional in the room, allowed us to re-evaluate the need for certain lights as well. Going from room to room was straightforward and the only difficulty was making sure we didn't forget anything such as the choice of the lighting switches for ceiling fans, lights etc. We also added a ceiling fan, an attic fan and extra plug sockets on the exterior, which posed no problem to Jerry and his crew. Jerry all through the process was available to talk, and I would always suggest that any future clients contact him via the phone first. he is a busy guy and don't expect him to be an instant 'email person'. He will send you estimates etc, but it is quicker to access him via the phone than any other method. All in all, great job, lovely work, professional crew - all thanks to Jerry and his guys.

Jerry was very professional & on time. Did great work installing a bathroom fan & a timer that I purchased myself. Very clean workmanship; they put down covers on the hardwood floors, they also vacuumed when they were done. Left the place spotless! Overall, very honest guy. He talked me through any issues he found and not once tried to push any extra services on me.

Jerry is amazing, not only did he install and run electrical for five light fixtures in an industrial loft, but, he did it in a couple of hours. He also cleaned up after himself. Great job!

Jerry replaced the line for our pool pump, which was from 1970. At first we thought it was just a blown fuse, but he showed us that the entire line was corroded. He explained my options, showed me how it would look, even offered to come by on his BIRTHDAY to get the pump working so the pool wouldn't get wrecked. He and his crew worked all day, cleaned up afterward, and he was very trusting about payment. I'll definitely use him again!

Don't look any further. Jerry is the best. I'd already had an estimate for installing the electrical for my outdoor hot tub from my usual electrician (also A listed & found on Angie's List). I thought his estimate was on the high side, so I decided to get a second opinion. Calgreen had great reviews, so I decided to call them. Jerry arrived on time & looked at the options for the best way to install approximately 150ft of electrical wire for the spa. He came up with a much better way than my usual electrician, and his quote was about half the price! He seemed extremely knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, & friendly & I decided to hire him for the job. We bought the hot tub two days later & it was to be delivered on the Friday. Jerry was able to do the electrical on the Thursday, so it worked out perfectly. He arrived on time with his assistant. They started at about 8am & were done by about 3pm. Very quick! While they were here I also decided to have 3 outdoor outlets installed & they did that very quickly too. I was really amazed at how quick they were. I had been having problems with the hot water in my bathroom taking about 5 minutes to heat up. Jerry took a look at it & got an existing pump working. It now is constantly hot. I'm no longer wasting water. It took him 15-30 minutes to fix, & he didn't even charge me. This is the best experience I have ever had with an electrician AND a plumber.

Walk-through and estimate one day...service the next!

Jerry came over to give us a free estimate and was very friendly and prompt. He gave us great advice and a very affordable quote. He also gave us some great advice and a quote on replacing our electrical box. On the day of the service, he and his partner showed up on time and completed all of the jobs very well and quickly. The original quote did not include the installation on the water line on the refrigerator and he included that for no charge. We can't wait to have him back to install our new electrical box.

He came just a few hours later, took care of it, made it safe and explained everything he was doing. We will use them again for sure, because of their professionalism, kindness and punctuallity.
