handyman service
+ -1 moreBill Seiler took my money and never did the work or returned calls made by me, my boyfriend and lawyer. I lived in fear that he would come into my house using the garage door opener - so I had it reprogrammed. I did find a displacement teacher with handyman skills to do the work. He showed up on time, completed the work and was grateful for the money. I have a copy of the check that Bill cashed and if I could have found him - he only lists a P.O. Box address - I would have taken him to small claims court.
Description of Work: I hired Bill in March 2008 to do some finish work after my general contractor had finished a major remodel. Specifically, install new vanity top, faucet, baseboards shower head, bathroom fans with lights, move a ceiling fan from one room to another, install porch light fixture and move an electrical outlet. Bill wrote out an estimate for work detailing everything to be done for a total of $600 and took a $300 deposit for work and my garage door opener so he could start the next day. He never came back. I called him multiple times and left messages - nada. He did cash my check and took $300 without EVER DOING ANY WORK. What a snake. I
