Bill removed the old sink on Monday and came back to paint the bathroom on Tuesday. We paid him $300 to start his work on Monday, approx 1/3 of his total fee. Bill said he didn't have certain parts for his labor so he made numerous trips to the hardware store. On Wednesday, he repeatedly said he wasn't hired to do the actual installing of the sink. He said, "Faucet parts are all zig-saw puzzle!" I bought American Standard 8" wide sink faucet for our vanity. He said we didn't pay him enough for this kind of job. He complained the entire time. We paid him total of $925 plus parts he needed to purchase (He told me that the part that he bought was wrong and had to return it to the store. He refused to give me the receipt). Thursday he didn't show up. He called my husband later in the morning and told him he wouldn't be coming in. Friday he showed up at 10AM. At 1:30pm, Bill said he was done with his work. He was not. Our water stopper in the sink did not release. It was stuck-It still is stuck. The hot water faucet had no water pressure. There was a chip in his painting. When the water ran there was a minor leak from the pipe. He did not put back the fixtures he took off from our bathroom walls. It was a terrible job, and it was certainly not finished. He demanded his full payment. I told him he needed to complete his work, and that my husband wanted to inspect it when he came home. He threw his tools and yelled "I'M GOING TO TAKE ALL THE THINGS APART!." He screamed and cursed in front of my 3 yr old daughter. I asked him to leave and come back at 5pm. He said he wasn't leaving until he was paid in full. While this was happening, my other neighbors came to check on my three year old daughter and my own safety. I was frightened. He was worse than unprofessional. I should have called the police... but I didn't. Bill was my neighbor's friend's boyfriend. This is more than a review. It is a warning.
